One Act of Obedience

(NOTE: Update Added - August 26/26:

ONE Act of Obedience

Around 2005, in a night vision (I dare not call it a dream since I was not asleep, but merely resting with closed eyes), I saw the word OBEDIENCE. The capital letters highlighted the importance of the word. And the warm, glimmering gold emphasized the purity and holiness in the act of obedience.

As I gazed upon the word in my spirit, Christ Jesus immediately came to mind. Because of the precious Holy Spirit, I was very aware of Messiah’s presence. The sense of great peace enveloped me. I wondered what the Lord was trying to show me.

My peace shattered abruptly as I witnessed a darkness moving downward from the top of the letters of ‘OBEDIENCE’. There was a wrestling with a fear of the unknown. What was the darkness? No doubt - Jesus is the light of this world. [Jn8:12]

It was all happening very quickly, and soon the entire word ‘obedience’ was covered in the dark fluid. Before confusion could consume me, a scripture came to mind. I could not recall it verbatim at the time, but it had to do with Jesus proclaiming that He IS the light of the world, and when we follow Him, we will not walk in darkness, but have light (life). [Jn 8:12]

It all happened faster than I can even type. It was an open vision, so it was like watching a short movie. No sooner had the scripture come to mind than everything brightened, as a light revealed what the ‘darkness’ was that covered the word ‘obedience’ in its entirety.

Obedience is a fruit of LOVE

We love Him [Jesus] because
He first loved us! [1Jn 4:19]

BLOOD! Immediately, I understood that the precious blood was that of “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”. [Rev 13:8] Indeed, the precious blood of Jesus/Yeshua the Christ.

The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. [Jn 1:29]

Once seen and understood, fear fled.

The obedience of Christ Jesus was completely soaked (drenched) in the precious blood of the Lamb that was poured out for us when the Messiah was upon the cross. [Phil 2:8]

And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Obedience is a fruit [one of the fruits] of Jesus' love for His Father [Jn 14:31] and for us (humankind), as He willingly sacrificed His life, spilling His precious blood to redeem us from the penalty of death (the wages of sin is death) [Rom 6:23] and to break the power of sin.

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. [Rom 5:19]

And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: [Lk 24:46]

One act of disobedience [through Adam] brought forth the greatest tragedy, mankind died spiritually. It became known in the heavens and upon earth as the great fall of humankind: We no longer walked in the spirit daily with God/Jesus, but began the walk in the flesh on the side of the devil and the world. 

We inherited a carnal [worldly, lustful, sensual], corrupted, sinful nature in the physical. Our heart was no longer pure, but became deceitful. Sin separated us from our loving Father.

One act of obedience [through Jesus/Yeshua] brought forth the greatest miracle of all – salvation! With salvation through Christ alone, we become born-again and spiritually alive! We become a new creation with a new heart. Hallelujah!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ [Yeshua Mashiach], which according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. [1Pet 1:3]

Obedience – A Fruit of Love

Right now, it is very important to learn obedience (yes, we actually 'learn' to obey) - then, we begin to practice it until we just do it. And we do it because we love Jesus, not because we have to. The Lord does not force people. That would not be love.

But, a forewarning: Just like Jesus, we learn obedience through what we suffer. 

Though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered, and being made perfect [whole, complete, mature], He became the Author of eternal salvation unto all that obey Him [Heb 5:9] (Emphasis mine-BP)

He is the Word, who came in the flesh (God incarnate, El Shaddai/God Almighty), a glorious Creator and King, humbled himself to walk amongst us. 

He proved He was our Saviour through His death upon the cross, shedding His blood willingly as a sacrifice for us. After three days, the Spirit of God brought Him forth with resurrection power! After 40 days, having been seen by 100s, He ascended into heaven. He is soon returning...look up, dear soul, look up! 

Do you hear the not-so-distant, fast-approaching hooves of the King, coming with His great cloud of witnesses? Make sure, friend, that your lamp is filled with OIL (Holy Spirit). Make sure, dear saint, that your wick is trimmed (having trimmed away fleshly sins and ways). 

Watch and pray! Because none of us knows the day or hour, only God the Father. [Mat 24:36]

It is almost midnight~ the Bridegroom is returning for His. the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive will meet Jesus in the clouds, in the blink of an eye - suddenly, unexpectedly - like a thief in the night. [1Thes4:16-17] 

Glory, hallelujah! We are to comfort each other with these words. [vs 18] The Lord knew we would all weary in this long weight, so He exhorts us to encourage and comfort (and pray for) one another.

Many of God’s people are being tested right now, and obedience will be part of that testing. Could our suffering be to bring up the dross? To challenge our faith? To test our heart?

Think upon it. We are in the beginning of sorrows…this is the time to do all the Lord asks.

If He instructs you to fast, prayerfully ask how long and what kind of fast – please be sure it is the Lord’s direction, especially if you are elderly or have limitations due to any physical reasons, such as diabetes or some other limitation. The Lord will lead you properly and according to your situation. There may be something else He requires of you instead.

Perhaps He has moved on you to pray earnestly. He gives instructions. Stay in the Word, pray.

This was to be posted by last Sunday [three days ago, the 23rd Aug], but it has been a great difficulty due to interruptions and distractions. Yet, all things are in God’s timing. Nothing takes Him by surprise... us, yes, the Lord - no.

For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are the called, according to His purpose. [Rom 8:28]

As often stated with this verse, it is not suggested that everything that happens is good, but rather Almighty God [El Shaddai], in His wisdom, works everything together to bring forth the good that He has purposed.

It is like the metaphor of the tapestry, which comes from a poem written by Grant Colfax Tullar [1869-1950] (an American hymn writer), but made famous/popular by Corrie Ten Boom.

Tullar wrote the poem after a dark season of despair, hopelessness, and discouragement. Corrie Ten Boom had many speaking engagements as a survivor of the Holocaust, a survivor of Ravensbruck Nazi concentration camp.

She used to carry the poem on a piece of paper, along with a piece of embroidery with knotted, messy threads on one side and a lovely golden crown on the upside. She would read the poem and then demonstrate the meaning with the piece of embroidered material she carried with her.

She explained the knotted side represented our perspective of life, which can be confusing, tangled, chaotic and random. The flip side represented God's master plan and the crown of eternal life.

Tullar had originally named the poem "The Weaver". Corrie Ten Boom simply renamed it "Life is But a Weaving" (The Tapestry Poem). Her famous quote was: "Although the threads of my life have often seemed knotted, I know, by faith, that on the other side of the embroidery is a crown."

Although Grant Tullar wrote the poem, it is famously, howbeit erroneously, credited to Corrie Ten Boom.

Does Your Character Pass the Litmus Test?

About four months ago, I mentioned that hearts are being tested (tried) right now. If someone questioned that God would not do such a thing, I will repost the scripture that I used then.

Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character. [Ps 105:19] NLT (New Living Translation)

Today, during prayer this morning, before I opened the Bible, I mentioned a few things to the Lord. Then I asked Him to lead me to what He wanted me to know. Again, I was led to [Psalm 105:19]. 

I trust the Lord when we pray sincerely to Him, humbling ourselves the best way we know how, and then trusting Jesus to lead us by His Spirit and answer our prayer request.

We pray with thanksgiving. That is another lesson that has kept coming before my eyes, either in Scripture or in some of my writings from days gone by. The testing has not been easy at times. In fact, there are times I have broken down into tears. Pain has a way of wearing us down.

There is no desire in my heart to complain, but I do tell the Lord that I am at my wit’s end. Year after year rolls by. I listen to what is happening with brethren. So many are suffering in different ways.

Situations are arising that test the character, integrity, sincerity, and genuineness of each individual. It has always been said that a person’s true character is proven in times of adversity. I have seen people who are thought to be so macho, so brave, yet cower instead of protecting a woman or child when startled by a sudden loud noise at night, out in the country.

I have seen so-called ‘good men’ kick a helpless puppy for not ‘behaving’ right when no one could see them except ‘family’. Yet to their friends and business associates, they are the epitome of ‘charm’.

The same charming person can be someone we would never suspect. They could turn out to be a thief, a liar, an adulterer, a murderer or a humanoid. How often has someone been found guilty of something, and people could not believe it? It seemed completely out of character. That is how charming someone can present themselves – a most convincing mask.

Yet, I have seen a person who was always mocked and ridiculed as being a ‘wimp’ due to their quiet or laid-back nature, turn out to be a real trooper in times of need. God knows exactly what kind of litmus test will prove the character of each individual.

Many of us have been going through one situation after another. Has it felt like everything is a battle, and everyone is at odds with you? I went through a time like that recently. Many times, I would end up in tears, wondering why the onslaught would not stop.

More times than I can count, asking Jesus for help, I searched my heart to see what I could be doing wrong to bring all of it upon myself. It seems that there is this unspoken expectation that Christians are never supposed to be depressed, or get angry, or be stressed, or have negative days. Just smile the perpetual Joel Osteen smile and give thanks to God…

“I failed You, Lord…” I often found myself lamenting, but the Holy Spirit corrected me, especially when a wave of melancholy swept over the flesh, or I spoke forth the devil’s lies. The expectation to be positive and unmoved by even stressful and/or pressing situations is both exhausting and unrealistic. Even those who disagree with the false doctrines of the prosperity gospel can be affected by some teacher’s influence, without realizing it.

The Leftover Sting of the False Prosperity Doctrine

Many believers are stuck in the rut that faith heals everything and that it quietly subdues all kinds of suffering, whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual pain, financial distress, marital problems, or wayward children. If not, then it must be the result of some hidden sin.

I remember being told that people who held bitterness inside suffered from arthritis, or that if anyone had cancer it was due to unforgiveness, and on and on and on it went. This is not true. Not only is it harmful, but it is unbiblical. It is the “hidden sin” mentality.

One time the disciples of Jesus asked him if a certain man was blind because of his parents’ sin or his own sin, to which Jesus responded with an adamant no. He stated that the condition was not caused by sin but that God’s love, power and work would be manifested through his healing, which would ultimately glorify God [Yahweh]. [Jn 9:2-3]

This has been something I have written about many times over the years because the first church I chose to attend after the orphanage happened to be a Word of Faith, prosperity-preaching church.

I was twenty-five years old and needed a job. An apartment building a few blocks from me was looking for a manager. I went in to apply for the job. The duties were simple enough. I would be responsible for cleaning all the apartments before and after occupancy, cleaning halls, lobby, and the laundry and mail rooms. I was to collect rent, deposit monies, and screen potential renters. The then-manager assured me that I practically had the job, but I would have to meet with the building owner after the weekend to make it official.

Going by the prosperity teaching that I had heard over the couple of months at the church, I gave notice to the manager at the apartment I had. The new job provided a furnished one-bedroom apartment and a small salary each month. 

I named-it-and-claimed-it (claimed the job and apartment as done in the spiritual; it will manifest in the natural). That is the teaching in a nutshell. I would have gotten the job too, but I had no husband. The job required a couple. The man would be responsible for maintenance for the building, something I could not do.

Desperately, I went back to the manager of the apartment where I had given notice, but sadly, he had already rented the place out. A woman at the church allowed me to stay at her place (on the couch) in exchange for light housework and babysitting her two school-aged boys.

That was my hard lesson with the “name-it-and-claim-it” prosperity doctrine. It was a rude and harsh awakening, but the Lord allowed me to find out very quickly after I had started at the church. I only went a few more times before I left it. Something happened that caused me to leave the church for the next 13 years, but I have spoken of that in past articles – not for now.

I have to admit that despite knowing that the doctrine is false and unrealistic, there have been times that the teaching has affected me, and I did not immediately recognize it. The Lord is truly so faithful. That is not just a Christian cliché; it is a beautiful reality.

If you have been going through interruptions, distractions, and opposition to the point that it has worn you down, be encouraged. You are most likely being tested. I asked the Lord about what was happening. Yet once again, He led me to a Scripture that I posted a couple of months back. It was confirmation of what I sensed, but I was not 100% sure about.

Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested (tried) Joseph’s character. [Ps 105:19]

Worship God Through Jesus

But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. [Jn4:23-24]

This song beats any AI song, although there actually are some good AI songs. Still, I hesitate and will not be promoting them often. Steve McWhirter put out a song that I only recently stumbled upon, but it was actually put out online in 2020.

It is called “Come Jesus Come” – it is our heart’s cry, especially as we see the evil that is flooding this world and knowing, as the Great Tribulation fast approaches, that according to the Word of God, it is only going to get worse. But thank God for Jesus and the Holy Spirit!

Discern the Hour

For whom the Lord loves He corrects, and disciplines those in whom He delights. [Heb 12:6] NLT

It is time. Now that I have corrected you and you received it, it is [also now] the time to rise up for I have given you strength. I have reached out My hand and pulled you up spiritually. You are no victim of Satan. You are a well-trained warrior. All My warriors go through intense training, hardships and testing that is double compared to others.[Is 40:2] The harder the training, the higher the purpose.

I AM the Lord of the battle, and I have sent forth holy angels to guard you and to keep you. They obey My commands. These are those who chose to remain when Satan rebelled. I AM the Lord of all creation.

My people have been travailing; many weeping over the condition of the world, the abundance of evil, and sins. Many have cried out for forgiveness, having repented with godly sorrow, as they continue their walk of faith with a ready and repentant heart. Multitudes have cried out for help to become all that I intended for them to be.

Forgive the Greatest Hurts

                                

Forgiveness is something few offer when the offense has been most painful. To forgive is not always easy, but it is necessary. Yet Stephen the martyr forgave with his dying breath. He understood His Messiah's words [My words] upon the cross, and he echoed them..."Father, lay not this sin to their charge." [forgive them] [Acts7:60]

Who has wronged you the most? Will you forgive? 

For if you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you refuse to forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your sins.  [Mat 6:14-15] NLT

The genuine believers have interceded faithfully, standing in the gap for multitudes. The prayers for the persecuted have been heartfelt and earnest. The days are here where persecution will increase globally. So it is written, so it shall be.

The weeping has been mingled with moaning and groaning for the lost, the prodigals, the deceived, for loved ones, for government leaders as well as for others in high places of influence and power.

My people pick up their cross daily, repenting when the flesh is weak and rebellious. They continue labouring in the daily dying to self, striving to overcome. 

It is a lifelong war with many battles, but the joy comes when each conflict ends victoriously, and when  each sin is overcome by My blood and the word of their testimony. My people continue on step by step. If they stumble and fall, they will arise. They will press on.  

The godly [righteous] may trip (fall) seven times, but they will get up [arise] again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked. [Prov 24:16]

They continue to rely on Me for strength in their weaknesses. We are one, I in them, and they in Me. These are My people.

I warned of a storm coming; it is intensifying. I warned that things are escalating. Great is the evil and wickedness of these days. It is indeed as in the days of Noah, and of Sodom, and of Gomorrah.

Violence is global. Hearts are waxing cold and desensitized. The gift of life is taken by evil ones without thought. Abominations are accepted under the false banner of love.

[Note: The Lord speaks of abortions and the 'evil ones' who pass the laws making them legal. When laws are being established, there seems to be very little consideration, if any, given to the life that will be terminated, or for the young woman (mentally, emotionally, spiritually) who must live with the decision she makes for the rest of her life.

At the time of this writing (March 2026), this is where we stand. Canadian government’s own guidance states that hospitals and doctors individually determine their gestational limits. It remains a very sensitive subject. For the states within the US, the limits for abortion vary significantly. 

It is as follows: [1] Abortion is prohibited in some states [2] Some impose limits as early as 6-12 weeks (1 ½ – 3 months) [3] Some allow abortions 22-24 wks. (5 ½ - 6 months) [5] Nine states, along with Washington, DC, have no specified legal cutoff for abortion.  SOURCE: KFF.org/state-health-policy-data

Although homosexuals can experience deep and sincere love for another of the same sex, the sin itself is an abomination to God. He created male and female to come together as one and procreate. This truth causes great division, just as it did in Sodom and Gomorrah. Pray for those who have been deceived and blinded by Satan. Pray they will be delivered and receive their [spiritual] sight, so they may repent, be forgiven, for their good, but for the glory of Jesus.

Our sin may not be their sin, and their sin may not be ours, but let us not think more highly of ourselves than we ought. We all have sinned in some way, every single one of us have fallen short of God's glory, needing repentance and forgiveness. Praise Jesus who paved the way along the narrow path. Great is His grace and love; His mercy endures forever. End note- BP]

Jezebel, The Seducer and Self-Proclaimed Prophetess

Note: I was asked about Jezebel and her lying prophets (prophetesses). I will try to shed some light on the topic, although I am no expert. I did meet a woman once who was in every way had a Jezebel spirit (according to scripture).

Notwithstanding, I have a few things against you because you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce My servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.

And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she did not repent. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. [Rev 2:20-22]

I met a married woman once with three children, whose brother was a pastor and an 'apostle'. (I did not know any better back then, but today I simply believe that there were 12 apostles. Not to go into it here, but I base that conviction on scripture.

And the wall of the city (new Jerusalem) had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. [Rev 21:14]

The new Jerusalem will have 12 foundational stones, one for each of Jesus' twelve apostles. That is good enough for me. Case closed.

The spirit of Jezebel has seduced the masses and they embrace her false prophets (of Ba’al) with open arms. They listen to her lying prophets(esses) and false teachers spewing forth doctrines of demons. Blasphemies and heresies against Me are accepted, even encouraged. There is no fear of God amongst the multitudes.

It is understood that there are those who call themselves 'prophets'. Although with the aid of the internet, they search out what to look for in a false prophet, and to prove they are NOT false, these people will say, "I don't call myself a "prophet".  That way if prophesy fails, they are not 'prophets'.

Others get by with the scripture that we 'know in part', and prophesy 'in part', and that they 'see through a glass darkly', meaning things are obscure, but they do their best with the 'part' they received. It is all smoke and mirrors, and sleight of hand.

However, if you listen carefully, in their testimony or in one of their 'teachings'. they do believe they are called to the "office of a prophet (prophetess) of God. They will mention others who call them prophets or those who honour them as a prophet. It is done subtly. 

 I am of the belief that prophecy is about the testimony of Jesus more than about telling what is to come. It is to point people to Jesus by testifying of Him, and encouraging fellowship with Him. I do believe the Lord gives a prophetic word. It is often about repentance, drawing near to Jesus, watching and praying. It is scriptural.

I do believe the Lord gives people prophetic dreams and visions. [Job 33:15] These may be warnings, or guidance. I also believe that in these last of the last days, we will see signs, and wonders, yet be very careful.  

We are told not to despise prophesying. [1Thes5:20] We are to try every spirit. How?  We align it with God's Word. He will never say anything that goes against His Word or His character.

There are those who prophesy about politicians, comparing them to various Bible characters. It is often more a form of idolatry. It can seem a real stretch sometimes. 

There are teachers who claim to know mysteries. According to them, there are innumerable mysteries that the average person misses, and you need them to interpret, understand and explain these mysteries.

The Lord spoke in parables many times so that uneducated farmers and shepherds could understand  His messages, but today there are prophets and teachers (self-proclaimed) mesmerize their listeners with their profound knowledge of mysteries.

This takes our eyes off of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, the one whom Jesus said would teach us. who revelations, something God only revealed to them. 

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you. [Jn 14:26]

What I say is not to be misunderstood. Everything must be balanced. Yes, the Holy Spirit will teach us, but yes, the Lord will also send pastors who will teach us properly, according to the knowledge of Christ.

And I will give you pastors according to My heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. [Jer3:15]

I believe the Lord speaks to people; however, He takes nothing out of context - everything He does is done decently and in order.

I do NOT believe 'prophets' today are the same as the ancient prophets...because of Jesus. The ancient prophets spoke messages given to them from God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Today, because of Jesus, we are baptised in the Holy Spirit. All true believers have Jesus and the Word of God (Bible), as well as the precious Holy Spirit. I do believe there is a prophetic gifting. The prophets of old were moved and spoke by the Holy Spirit. Today, because of Jesus Christ, born-again believers are filled with the Holy Spirit.

The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. [Rev 19:10]

In [Joel 2:28-29] and [Acts 2:16-18], the Lord says He will pour out His Spirit upon all people, and sons and daughters will prophesy, old men will dream dreams, young men will have visions.

Some scholars and theologians claim that Joel foretold about the day of Pentecost, and they believe Peter was explaining what was going on in the Upper Room (they were not drunk) and repeated what the prophet Joel spoke forth. And he may well have spoken about an outpouring in days ahead.

Jezebel is long dead. The ancient prophets were the go-between the Lord and His people. Yet countless prophets were despised and killed. Today many are idolized and people throw money at them. They are exalted.

The internet prophets have gleaned the protocols from countless sites. They will say all the right things, lift up the name of Jesus, they will say all the right things, but people come away talking about what a godly prophet, but few are talking about Jesus.

The Jezebel spirit will teach people to fornicate. How? The woman I mentioned earlier was 'ordained a prophetess'. She was married but used to ask me to pray the Lord would make it possible for her to marry her 'true' (spiritual) husband.

She was married with children, all grown, but she 'fell in love' with her husband's coworker, a man whose wife had died. She said God told her that he was her true spiritual husband. She was to divorce her husband of thirty-some odd years and marry this other man.

Her actual husband was good to her, provided for her and the children for the 30-plus years, paid for her to go to school and get a good job that she wanted. She had even asked me to pray that God would take him in a car accident. 

I was not saved, but I was attending church. One time I was driving out in the country, and praying like she had asked...to let him die quickly and go to heaven. She did not want the shame of divorce, and she wanted the grown 'kids' not to hurt over his death.

As I drove, a stop sign I came to literally seemed to jump out at me. Of course I mean in the spiritual, but it was amplified so noticeably, it frightened me.

STOP in the name of Jesus!

After stopping, I turned left onto a country highway. As I did I saw (in the spiritual again) my car crashing in on the driver's side. So real -- it shook me up so much that I literally had to pull over.

"Stop praying for (the name of the man) [his] death! It is NOT My will."

I was completely shook up. That was over 30 years ago now, and I remember it like it was yesterday. When I told my friend, she was livid and told me that I was hearing from Satan, not God - but I knew she was wrong.

She was already guilty of adultery in her heart. She wanted a good man, who had just become a Christian, and the father of her children, to die so she could marry someone he worked with. LUST - she lusted him, not loved him.

I was told never to call, text, or email ever again. I was cut off, called a false prophet, and an agent of Satan. My heart broke. She was deceived...I quit going to church around then. I had only been going sporadically anyway, but it threw me off for awhile. 

When I contacted her pastor-brother, hoping he would open her eyes to the truth, he told me that they had often discussed what they would do if their spouses died. He did not want to hear what I had to say. She supported his ministry in many ways, but I was shocked that he refused to hear the truth of the matter. He had known her husband over 40 years. It was such a sad situation.

It was some time later, when I read about the Jezebel spirit, or the woman who called herself a prophetess, and who taught fornication, I thought of her. Her brother had 'ordained' her a prophetess, although I never heard her prophesy. But the times she had spoken to me about being intimate with him, she was alluding to sex outside of her marriage as being acceptable to Jesus.

It was a lie - deception. I do not think the act was carried out. The other man was not in no state of mind to go to bed with his friend's wife (his coworker). She worked for the same company. What a sad mess. That is what sin does.

The Jezebel spirit will cause division. It will manipulate people to gain control and spiritual authority. Seducing spirits follow her around. She was one to flatter people, but it was emotional and spiritual manipulation. It led to corruption. 

That is what is so heartbreaking about deception. It corrupts, brings confusion and it is destructive. Unless one is grounded in the Word, or filled with the Holy Spirit and following His lead, they can be deceived. 

I have been deceived  before in my life, and sadly, I did not know it until Jesus delivered me. Can you imagine? She had convinced me that what I was praying for her husband showed mercy (that he would die instantly, without pain in the car crash), and compassion for her children, although grown, she did not want them to grieve too much over their father's 'death'.

It is when one comes out of the deception that then the blind eyes see and the deaf ears hear!  Praise Jesus.

Sin will open door for deception, but Satan also goes for the unsaved, or the new converts (called babes in Christ, only because they have much to learn. A false teacher or false prophet can take advantage of their lack of knowledge and deceive them.

I will always thank Jesus for that frightening, yet open vision when I was driving. As much as it should me up, in retrospect, I see the love of Jesus, leading me by His Spirit to keep me from sinning. I would have been praying a 'curse' over the man. His wife was operating in a spirit of divination, and operating in witchcraft.

Satan does not stop at the door of the building.

The biblical Jezebel promoted foreign 'gods' [Ba'al and Asherah] and used her high place in society (position) to promote false prophets. She surrounded herself with lying prophets with seducing spirits. The false prophets, prophets of Ba'al. We see many 'prophetesses' placed in the "high places" in the Christian arena today, often promoting (other) mostly male, false prophets. They are countless.

Many have hundreds, if not thousands, of followers who snap at anyone who says anything negative against their "prophet" or "teacher" (such as mentioning failed prophesies, or how in just a few years they became millionaires, or false doctrine thrown in). 

Yet, people INSIST they are not into idolatry, but they must get their 'daily dose' of prophecy. I remember when the holy Spirit spoke deep within me stating that many have replaced daily horoscopes with a "daily prophetic word". 

This grieves the Lord when people seek out the "prophets" or "prophetic" to know what is going on, rather than seeking God. If we are not bowing before a statue, we do not see "idolatry" in its many forms - anything that comes before God. 

The typical line from the prophets (who do not 'claim' to be prophets), as well as their followers is "touch not God's anointed and do their prophets no harm". That is taken out of context because it is clearly speaking about Israel (the nation) and the patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. 

The people in other nations, and other kingdoms had a warning. Adonai reproved kings, and wanted no man to do His people harm. It was for then. Israel had many prophets, including Abraham, who were anointed. [1Chron 16:15-22]

Yet people use it to "protect" either themselves or their idols -- (err, that is the folks they support because they insist they do not have idols), to halt negative speech against them.

Nevertheless:...

The Jezebel spirit is a reality I believe [Rev 2:20], just like Jesus spoke about the spirit of John the Baptist, or the spirit of Elijah. Those mentioned were NOT John the Baptist or Elijah because there is no such thing as reincarnation in Christianity, but what is mentioned is that they are a "type" or "shadow" of the original.

It is possible that at the time John wrote Revelation that another "Jezebel" was around, but I tend to think it is a "type" of Jezebel (same evil spirit). The original Jezebel taught people to fornicate (allowed temple prostitutes), and she murdered prophets. She was wicked, even having a godly man, Naboth, killed for his vineyard just to satisfy Ahab's covetousness. 

However, unlike the original, there are those who infiltrate the church, and call themselves "prophetess" (only it is mostly in an underhanded way as opposed to flat out announcing it). There are countless false prophets and teachers who are worshipped by hundreds, some even thousands, EVEN IF they have had several failed prophecies or teach false doctrines, some even teaching heresy [Rev. 2:20].

There are many today who have scrubbed old videos with false prophecies (thank God for the people who downloaded the originals) and doctored old articles. Many have have two, three or more websites, not to mention being on nearly every available social media platform. 

People will be directed to the site that has the 'corrected' articles or scrubbed videos. They have 'staff' or a 'team' that helps. People have caught this action and proved it by posting older stuff. I do believe the part about "Jezebel has her lying prophetesses" to be speaking specifically about the charismatic, popular, prophetic types, who branch off into teaching. Failed prophecies and doctrines with error, and some that are doctrines of demons, as it is written (foretold). 

Idolatry (seducing spirits in the churches), fornication (seducing spirits; unclean spirits) and eating food offered to false gods (unclean spirits; foul spirits) is happening today, and it is not just in the Hindu religion, or Moon cult religions.

Idols (false gods and goddesses) are worshipped and cults are welcomed. Witchcraft is exalted, embraced, and glorified around the world. These are indeed the days where good is called evil and evil is called good.  Moral decline is now out of control as laws are changed to appease the people. 

Satan has deceived the entire world, but those who seek Me, abiding, will hear My instructions and will have the discernment required to avoid deception. Dangerous days! Dark days! 

Many cry out, “Why Lord, why do You allow this?” “How long will You stand afar off, doing nothing Jesus (Yeshua)?” “When, Lord, when?"

 My timing is not as mankind’s, for I AM the Creator of it; therefore, I AM not contained by or in it.

The prophets of old forewarned of these days. I answered the question of the apostles who asked what would be the sign of the end times and the sign of My return. [Matthew 24] Although much is not understood about how this will all pan out, be at peace knowing that I AM fully aware and fully in control.

Evil has its day of rejoicing [Rev 12:12], but the time comes when it will no longer be so. Indeed, I have spoken to many about the earth splitting open violently (earthquakes) in different places. Warnings of great waters covering the lands, bringing death and destruction, have also been trumpeted.

Those which have occurred are nothing compared to that which is coming (fast approaching). Pray for those in Washington and New York. Woe to those on coastal lands. Woe to those in Damascus and Gaza. Woe to My people in the land of Israel who are preparing to welcome the false Messiah. Pray for Israel. Pray for one another. Pray for your own country and all that I place upon your heart by My Spirit.

Do you hear the thunderous sound of troops marching? Do you hear the sound of the trumpet? Fast and pray in these tumultuous, violent days.

(Note: I understand there are many different kinds of fasts. The Bible shows a few, but it is between the individual and the Lord. People want to fast something that has nothing to do with diet, but fasting (scripturally) always has to do with diet.

Read the scriptures if you doubt it. Whether you give up sweets, meats, and wine like Daniel, or do like Esther or Jesus [no food], allow the Lord, through His Holy Spirit to guide you individually. Medical conditions, physical abilities; there are factors to consider. It should always be between an individual and the Lord.

Seek Me while there is yet peace in your land, for the time comes when the focus shall shift to the horrors of the West, as well as the Middle East.

Pray for those in dangerous lands. Pray for one another, particularly the lost and the prodigals. Time is of the essence. Search My Word and see that it is true.

You did not choose Me, it is I who chose you. Before the foundation of the earth, I knew all things. Before you were in the womb, I knew you. I called you forth and ordained My plan for you.  All is in My competent hands, for I love My creation.

All who are Mine are awakening and have awakened. Those who are awake have heard My voice. I have tried and am trying the hearts. Rise up. Stand strong, fully armoured and prepared. Wait upon Me.  Be sober. Be vigilant for your adversary, as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

When Satan stood before Me challenging Job’s faith, integrity and his uprightness, Satan declared that he had just come from walking to and fro, and up and down upon the earth. Satan comes not but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, but I have come to give life, and that more abundant. [Jn 10:10]

Rise up. Prepare. All is coming into alignment. Those who worship the dark side have tampered with opening portals and vortexes as they spiritually knock upon the door of the demonic kingdom, in order to receive guidance (divination) from the demonic realm (Satan’s kingdom). AI assists with rituals and information for those seeking to practice.

Satan counterfeits. As I instruct people to seek Me, Satan tells people to come to him.  He brings the python spirit, a spirit of divination. Greater am I in My people, than Satan who is in the world. Again I say, I did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.    

It is now. The positioning is perfect, steps shall be ordered by Me through My Spirit and My Word. Each one is important and necessary –all is honorable.  You have learned (and still duly practice) to walk by faith and not by sight.

How difficult it is not to base faith on the circumstances during the severe trials, but you have risen to the level of counting on My strength, not yours; to overcome [Rev 12:11] – to not look upon the raging seas, the forceful winds, or the stinging waters, but to look to Me.

Coming to Me, leaning on My strength, there is safety. When I speak, the calm returns, the peace that passes all understanding, the peace that the world cannot give.

Be patient just a little longer. Discern the hour.
