Crowd of Witnesses Watching the Race


No Warning Regarding 9/11Memorial

I inserted this part at the top of my article to settle a question. A dear sister in the Lord and close friend asked me if I had anything about 9-11 in my spirit and I answered her no. 

May the Lord help me if I'm wrong, but I have not been alerted to any attack happening at any memorials on the fifteenth anniversary of the 9/11 attack on the twin towers that occurred in New York City, September 11, 2001.


Fox News reported that the Department of Homeland Security issued a warning for all law enforcement agencies to be on high alert for "potential terrorist activity" on the date of September 11, 2016, which marks the 15th anniversary of when the twin towers were attacked. 

It is also the start of the NFL season, and concerns are that terrorists are striking the more public places such as stadiums, malls, concerts and other very public places where the masses gather.

Although there are no threats at this time that are "specific" or "credible", the DHS are not taking any chances urging agencies to be prepared and alert.

Fox News quotes: "The intelligence notification specifically cited recent ISIS-inspired and directed attacks - from Nice, France to Orlando, Fla., to Istanbul, Turkey - as a caution to U.S. law enforcement agencies to remain vigilant in the face of an "ongoing heightened threat environment."

"These incidents involved tactics ranging from unsophisticated, opportunistic attacks by lone ISIL-inspired individuals using firearms, edged weapons, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and commercial vehicles, to more sophisticated, coordinated operations in Europe possibly directed by the group in Syria, using multiple operatives wearing person-borne improvised explosive devices (PBIEDs)," the intelligence bulletin noted in summarizing recent successful ISIS-linked attacks."

The FBI and Homeland Security had previously issued a warning for a possible terrorist attack for the July 4th celebration, as reported by USA Today


In a day of mixed messages, confusion and deception, there is a thing that occurred that is really quite touching. I am not American, but still, to me this was a compassionate and gentle gesture on behalf of the Russians. 


The United States was presented with a gift by President Vladimir Putin on behalf of the people of Russia. The structure is a bronze-clad, 100 foot fractured tower, weighing 175 tonne. Inside the fracture is a large steel teardrop, and at its base is listed the names of those who perished that fateful day. 


Unfortunately, the artist Zurub Tesereteii, did not have an updated list for the victims and failed to remove 43 names that were deleted from official records in 2003 and 2004.  The removed names were of those who either were not dead or did not exist.

The structure was officially named "To the Struggle Against World Terrorism", but is also referred to as the "Tear of Grief".  Those sailing into the New York Harbor will see the teardrop monument from Russia before they see the Statue of Liberty from France.

Again, I have to say that I have not received any alert from the Lord regarding tomorrow, the 11th day of September 2016, on the 15th anniversary of the attack on the towers in NYC.

What I believe the real urgency is that the Lord wants His children to pay attention to is written below.  It is an incredible time in history, as we watch the last of the last days, along with its foreboding and increasing darkness.

The urgency is for us to be sober and in God's will, for such a time as this.

Be of Great Courage

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. [1Sam 30:6]

In my attempts to encourage others in the past year, I must confess that I was also actually trying to encourage myself in the Lord.  How many of us have gone through tests that have overwhelmed us, especially if they are long trials?  

How many of us have been experiencing trials as never before, trials that surpass the proverbial 'dark night of the soul'?  Sure, all of us have been through tough trials or tests at some point in our walk with God, if we have been walking with Him for awhile, whether a short while or a long while. 

I remember other troubled, turbulent times, when it seemed like all was going to come against me. I have heard testimonies of countless others who came through painful, devastating trials as well.

Over time, I came to understand that all of God's people go through very dark and difficult seasons, times that are very chaotic, overwhelming and unsure indeed. I also came to understand that the trials for others become harder as well, the further they walked in obedience with God.

In those seasons, we either press in closer to God or we can become angry, disillusioned, or even begin to shut down.  Yet those who truly love the Lord, simply cannot - we simply cannot shut down completely; we hang on with that mustard seed of faith. It is the precious Holy Spirit that holds us and will not let us give in. It truly would have to be us that falls away or gives up. Don't give up

We may not realize it at the time, but as I have said before, it is often in retrospect that we see clearly, with understanding. Many call this hindsight. We all have one hundred percent hindsight, although we see darkly when it comes to the now (during trials) and when it pertains to the future. We only know what God reveals to us, in the ways He chooses, such as in His Word, by His Spirit, and through others. His ways are outstanding and unsurpassable!


Look at Joshua, a mighty man of God; a man who would not be moved, even when the majority spoke the opposite of what he was saying. Remember when Joshua and Caleb, along with ten others (one leader from each of the ancestral tribes), were sent by Moses to spy out the Promised Land?

We all know the story, but for those who do not, you can find it in the book of Numbers, chapter 13, beginning with the 17th verse. In Numbers 13 verse 8, we see the name "Oshea" (some translations spell it "Hoshea"). In verse 16, we see that Moses changed the name of Oshea to "Jehoshua" or "Joshua".

Caleb and Joshua were the only two out of the twelve spies that came back with a good report. The rest trembled in fear and brought a discouraging and evil (fearful) report about the giants in the land, giants so large that they were as grasshoppers in their own sight and in the sight of the giants. [see verse 33]

Joshua listened keenly to the Lord, believed and obeyed Him. When the Israelites had taken Gilgal (before Jericho), five kings fled to the caves. When they were captured, Joshua was the first to encourage his warriors.

And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom you fight.  [Josh 10:25]

Laying Down Pride


When we go through a great trial, how often do we cling to pride and think that we can get through it by ourselves? We do not consider it pride; we may tend to think it will soon pass, we can handle it, or we may not want to burden others. How many times do we withdraw, in order to try and work it out ourselves?

We have heard of a 'dark night of the soul' or a 'crisis of faith', but what do you call the granddaddy of all trials- a trial like none of the hard ones that you have been through before?

When one writes, teaches or even preaches and that one finds themselves in an overwhelming, earth-shattering trial like none that they have been through before, how does one navigate through it and still be real? After all, saints are to be examples before an unbelieving world, are we not? This may be one reason that multitudes can relate to Job, and why the book of Psalms is so comforting.

There are a million thoughts that race through the mind, some of which may have presented themselves in previous tests or trials.  One may wonder if they have done something to anger God, or search the heart for any possible sin that may have brought chastisement or judgment. How often do we confess sins that we may not even be guilty of...just in case we were blind to them, yet still guilty although unaware?

When the Lord requests that we do something (perhaps part of a personal covenant), it may very well be one of the hardest things He ever required of you - like the rich man who was told to sell all and give it to the poor. Yet, the Lord tries the heart.

He may assure a person that 'you can do this', but doubts may begin to haunt them. He may be silent and seem afar off, but He is with us through it all. 

We must block unbelief with the shield of faith, yet as time passes and the trial continues on, sometimes relentlessly and seemingly without end, even the strongest can become frustrated, weary or completely overwhelmed (undone).


Mankind also has a very real adversary who will indeed come at the saints in their weakest moments. He will use anyone, anything and everything to try and force a surrender, to throw in the towel and give in to despair and defeat. Do not surrender to his lies! He is a murderer and the father of lies, a master of deception, a cunning, clever, subtle and evil spirit.

Yes, it is true that many blame Satan or some devil for everything that goes awry, which would be the wrong too. Not everything is from Satan. There are consequences brought about by our sins.

On the other hand, there are Christians who say that Satan will not come against us if we have faith and are walking in God's will, or say that God will protect His own and not allow evil to touch us. Really? What would such people have said to Job, or Joseph, Daniel, the apostles or Jesus Himself?

God is Sovereign, but we cannot see all things as He does, nor do we have the wisdom or understanding that He possesses.  Some things we will not know or understand in this life. That is where trust comes in. It is not an easy walk.

About a year ago, a great trial began for me, and yes, I have come to call it the 'granddaddy' of all trials, the hottest fire yet.  The heat of the fire has been increased over the past six months, with every possible thing going wrong.

Here is where I lay down pride.  I struggled with thoughts, such as, 'if I share this on my blog, people who have followed for any length of time might say, "What again? Another trial? Now what...?"  No one invites hardships, no one.

There has also been great temptation to 'go it alone' and not say a word, but rather to focus on encouraging others who may be in their own deep valley of trouble and sorrows. But would it make me a hypocrite, a pretender, if I tried to go alone? 

Confusion certainly can and does happen to people in the midst of severe trials. We do not always understand or have satisfactory answers. There are times when nothing makes sense. How I struggled in things, not knowing what to do; times when God is silent.

One tends to think that surely it will end soon.  Tomorrow is a new day. In hardships, a believer may consider that when it is over, then we can tell people and give God the glory. 

I have also heard more than once that 'God does not use people when they are depressed, or down and out. He has plenty of vessels He can use.' True, but who can say who God will or will not use or when?  Who can order His hand or counsel Him in what to do? 


But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. [2Cor 1:27]

Is it not best to shift focus off of one's self and reach out to others?  Are we an island by ourselves or are we part of the Body of Christ?  Are we not to pray one for another?  If we keep things to ourselves, who will know to pray?

No Masks Allowed

Pride can be so subtle, cloaking itself as false humility. I was guilty of this; please forgive me, but I might as well be upfront about it.  After all, anyone who gives prophetic words and constantly encourages people to 'trust God'; 'have faith'; 'fight the good fight'; 'don't give up'; 'praise God through it all' etc, surely and truly that one must bloody well be ready to walk the walk and put their words into action.

There are those who say, "Well, you must have a chink in your armour (area of vulnerability) or a gap (area of weakness) somewhere, or Satan could not hit you."  Sometimes we choose to go it alone simply because we allow lies, doubt and/or fearful thoughts to consume us.


We do not want to suffer from the JFS (Job's Friends Syndrome).  Yet, I would counsel anyone in a severe trial to pray, press into God even more, and yes, to reach out to trusted brethren to stand with you in the gap and pray.

The Holy Spirit is faithful to guide us. The Lord truly does not leave us or forsake us. If there is unconfessed sin, He will reveal it to us. If it is something that the Lord has asked you to do and with all your heart, you are determined to obey, expect an onslaught from the enemy.

Why does the Lord allow such hardships?  There is no one pat answer that encapsulates every trial.  However, it is guaranteed if you are determined to do the will of God, there will come opposition. The enemy's goal is to have you give up, to let go of your faith because without faith, it is impossible to please God. [Heb 11:6]

But I promise that if you stay close to God, even in His silence, He will bring you through, even if you cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, even if you can only see one step lit up at a time. Step by step, even moment to moment, He will guide us.

Flesh or the adversary may tempt us to put on a mask, to hide our problems from everyone. He will twist thoughts and try to blind our minds to truth, but we are not unbelievers.  We must cast down all imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring every thought into captivity into the obedience in Christ. [2Cor 10:5]  

You can do it! I can do it! We are in a race, a bloody war, but we have a King who is on our side, and if God be for us, who can be against? [Rom 8:31] Just prior to that verse is the first verse I ever memorized. For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose. [Rom 8:28]

Granddaddy of Trials and Spiritual Warfare


We are to not only remain teachable, but also reachable. People have to be able to reach us, in order to teach us, or even to help us. If people do not know what is going on, how can they help? How do they know to pray?  People are not mind readers.  

We have to remain approachable, no matter what we are going through. Yes, it is a tough call. Please do not misunderstand me.  There are times that we need to be alone, to digest certain things that happening or have happened, to reflect upon and to sort through it all. 

We also need alone time with our Lord God.  What I am cautioning against is becoming so isolated, so despaired, so overwhelmed that we allow no one to come near, or even give them the opportunity to pray.

There was (and has been) such a struggle going on inside of me, and my heart aches at the thought of being a hypocrite.  Sometimes we want to be cool, but we end up a fool, if we become consumed with ourselves and our trials.

We are accountable and responsible not only to our glorious King, but also to our brethren.  Think about it.  If someone you knew, or another member of the Body of Christ was in the throes of a horrific trial, would you not want to know so that you could pray, or even help them if you were so led and so able?

It is so easy to fall into a pity party, but we must redirect our focus back to our Christ, to Jesus.  We must not look at the turbulent waters or fear will cause us to sink and we may feel like we are drowning in the ferocious waves.

It Begins

This last trial began about a year ago, when someone very close to me suddenly 'disappeared'.  It was completely unlike them and I was thrown off by it. About the third week after their disappearance, when in prayer, the Holy Spirit said, 'He is alive.'

I was surprised by the statement and was waiting for more information. 'He's alive and...?'  Silence!  That is all that the Lord said to me, despite me trying to prod Him for more detail. Although I was glad to hear from the Lord, I was left feeling not just baffled, but quite bewildered. My only alternative was to pray.


Over two months passed before I finally heard news. My precious friend had been in a horrific motorcycle accident. I believe with all my heart that the Lord had spared his life, but he had suffered some very serious injuries. Now the words, 'he is alive' took on a very new and profound meaning. 

I cannot pretend to know what God was thinking, but is likely safe to say that the Lord was sparing me great anxiety and concern, as my friend is in a country far away and there was no possible way that I could go to be there. 

My beloved friend was not out of the woods yet, even though he was at home. I prayed earnestly. I will say here and now that today, a year after the fact, that the Lord did heal my friend quite quickly considering the extent of his injuries...and I give our Sovereign God all the glory, with thanksgiving! 

Yet, that was only the beginning of what has come to be a very long trial that would greatly shake me, test the very foundation of my faith and try whether I truly trusted God. But what is even more concerning – can God trust me?

And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire. [Heb 12:27-29]

After news came that my friend was recovering at home after over two months in hospital (and all the stress and concern that came upon me in that duration), other things began to crop up that were equally stressful. I had felt helpless and frustrated when I could not be by my friend's side in such a trying time for him, but he has a wonderful family who were there for him, as well as friends.

For this part, I cannot share publicly some of the other things that transpired in that time period a year ago, as it would betray a confidence, but suffice it to say that I was pressing in and praying with great fervency.  It seemed that I was finding myself more and more seeking God and praying. He guided me through it all. 

Yes, there were times of silence, yet it never failed that God would answer me in His timing, not mine. He would reassure me and what He said would come to pass. Only God is Sovereign and omniscient (all-knowing). 

Things kept cropping up, but it was slowly at first and not overwhelming, but still at a steady pace. Even still, it kept me constantly alert and in serious prayer.  By the grace of God, I came to understand that it was a trial, but also further pruning, purging, cleansing, and purifying.

Speeding Up

Then, about six months ago, things picked up speed, much like the snowball that plummets down a hill, building momentum and mass. It seemed that no sooner would one thing happen and I would begin to address that, when another situation would arise.  

It was March that I found out that all my saved articles that I had pulled off of the blog (which represented seven years of writing, with five being from the blog) and had placed on an external hard drive were showing up as corrupted and unreadable.

It seemed that just my writings that I had removed from the blog to transfer to another website, including my testimony, were the only files that were registering as corrupted. Some were okay, but all had to be sorted through. I wept that night and into the next day.  

All my hard work over the years, countless hours of research and writing, seemingly gone. There had been words from the Lord, news articles and so much more.

In desperation, I called a company that confidently advertised that their recovery of damaged or lost files was most successful. To cut to the quick, the external was picked up and shipped off to a university in Saskatchewan. The representative I conversed with offered me great hope.

The external was in their possession nearly two months (instead of the quote of two weeks) before it was sent back to me. All the items on the original external had been transferred to a new external hard drive, which I did purchase.

The case was missing from the original external and I was told that the covering was part of the problem, which did not make sense to me. All that was shipped back to me was the guts, the inward parts of the external.

There were over two million files on the external, which consisted of pictures, articles, songs and PDFs; all collected over a seven year period and placed on the external. I was directed to go through each file to see what was recovered, as the company did not do that. What? 

Did they know how long it would take to go through that many files? I began the process, only to find out that no files opened at all. In a desperate phone call, it was agreed that an error had occurred by one of the intern technicians and they would send me another external. This took an additional two weeks.  

Meanwhile, other stressful things kept happening, from health to finances, to troubles happening with friends and family, car troubles, to matters of the heart and relationships. Every area seemed hit. What was happening?

Spiritual Warfare

During this time, I kept pressing in with the Lord. I could not give up, but I surely did not understand all that was happening or why. To counter any negativity, I reached out to others and continued to go into the community, reaching out to the lost, ministering to them.

I also kept busy answering emails from those who wrote with concerns and those who wanted prayer. It was my way to keep the focus off of me and to walk in love, as God commands us. Others were hurting and having great trials too and how I wanted them to know that God loves them and is with them!

The good fight had to be fought, right? The focus had to be Christ, as well as my love for Him first, then others. It was working for awhile, but as the trial continued, I began to question my faith, my walk with God, my sincerity and everything else about myself. Yet even still, I could not, would not blame God. 

Every month my old car, a 2000 Grand Am, needed some kind of repair. It was draining me, as I was also sending money out to help others in pressing situations. So much was going on, yet there was one thing that was the most pressing to me.

The Lord had required I give something up. Every time He asked, I would immediately do so, yet I was not overcoming. My heart was crushed. Do I truly love God? Because as I have often said, when we truly love God, we obey Him.

Why was I not overcoming this area? I became very confused, discouraged and angry at myself. Here I was telling others that we must overcome, that we must lay it all down for God, but I was struggling in an area? The word 'hypocrite' kept coming to mind.

I began to spiral downward, my hope seemingly dashed, and I was desperately trying not to despair, trying to keep focus on the Lord, trying to keep my head above water. World events escalating in intensity and frequency, taking away focus at times.  "Lord, help me. I can't do this without You!"

Oh, how well I know that the sacrifice that is pleasing to God is ME- laying down my life. Yes, a great shaking was taking place once again and yes, I was crying out to my Maker, the Sovereign God of all creation, my Rock, my refuge.

You were running well; who hindered you from obeying the truth?  [Gal 5:7]

Transparency – Sharing My Heart


Here I will share some of my writings, when I was endeavouring to keep things between myself and the Lord. Perhaps the reader will discern the struggle, the confusion, the wrestling between my flesh and my spirit and my hope in God.

Journal – Once Upon a Time


Heaviness envelopes me like a body-gripping cloak.  Attempts to lift it from me seems in vain, yet ironically (or paradoxically), I am grateful. I feel as though I have aged ten years in one year.

Where is strength? Where is endurance? Where is discernment? I cannot pretend I understand. Have I heard You Lord, or have I been deceived?  God forbid! Forbid deception, Lord. I pray for knowledge, wisdom, increased discernment, counsel, might, understanding, the fruit of the Spirit and fear of the Lord. 

May I be a profitable servant, walking in love, walking by faith and not by sight and pleasing to You, Lord. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, and right now, my heart feels sick. I look to You Lord, the Author and Finisher of my faith.

I look to you Lord, for comfort, even chastisement, so that I know I am Yours. I look to You for truth and wise counsel, for the sake of Your Son's name, Jesus, my Yeshua - the Messiah of Nazareth and the world. Amen

God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob Gave Me an Answer


Be patient. Show love; practice longsuffering (patience) even in times of distress. Speak less, listen more. Fear not, despite outward appearances. Have faith - patience, patience. I am with you!

Have I ever steered you wrong before? PATIENCE - just a little longer. Walk in love and peace of Christ. All is not lost! Trust!

For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are the called, according to His purpose. [Rom 8:28]

Another Day

Trying to be brave when courage seems a stranger; trying to understand when logic seems resistant; trying to love, when love is yet a stranger - a stranger, but not, for God is love and He is no stranger to me.

But God!  Only God has remained Faithful and True, calming the storms, enduring turbulence and ever longsuffering, beyond all expectation.  Who can fathom the height, breath, width and depth of our Creator?

Yes, hope is deferred and indeed my heart feels sick.  Empty and numb, I must yet resist the planting of a root of bitterness. I must cut it off and destroy its very seed. This is only done through forgiveness.


It is written (having been spoken by Jesus) that if I do not forgive, I will not be forgiven. Self-pity tries to suck me down as surely as the grip of quicksand. I will walk the shaky plank over the treacherous sands of death that long to pull me into its trap.

Yet Another Day

I want to cry and cannot. Death would be welcomed, yet a longing to see things work out keeps me going. No! It is the Lord that keeps me going! Is that faith? I do not know...

I see my failures; I recognize my shortcomings. It is spiritual warfare. How soon I forgot! We war not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the dark rulers of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places. [Eph 6]

I must cast down the thoughts of defeat. The Lord is my defense. Even when He does not act right away (immediately), His timing is always perfect.  I must remember that Jesus, my Yeshua, is my hope - Christ in me, the hope of glory.

Ah Lord, forgive me as I forgive others who have trespassed against me.

Another Day

Caught in a whirlpool, yet not being sucked down.  Instead, the churning waters keep me in a continuum of endless expectancy; hope teasing me from the sidelines, taunting me to find strength to escape.

I cry out to God, wondering how or why this all occurred. Was I deceived? God, Father of all who call upon Jesus Messiah, please guide me away from deception and seducing spirits. Please expose the wolves in sheep's clothing before they manage to bite or tear into me.

I pray to be able to discern between waywardness and those who have evil intent and impure motives. If I fail to discern now (who to trust and who not to trust), whatever will I do in the darker days ahead, if you allow me to live through it?

Ah Lord, how have I glorified you?  Depression sinks its hooked talons into me. One by one, I pluck them out, yet they snap back into me as if positioned on a loaded spring.

Praise! Put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. That, in itself, is not only a challenge, but a battle. I have found that when I begin with thanksgiving, praise follows automatically. [Enter into the gates with thanksgiving and into the courts with praise.]

Encouragement Comes


Walk in holiness (set apart). Walk in humility. Trust in your God. My timing is not always your timing. Not everything that happens is a test, but yes, you are in a great trial right now. All remains the same between us. Fear not, for I have not left you or forsaken you.

Your heart aches, but soon it will soar. Remember what is written.

Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. [Is 40:31]

Put into practice the things you have learned. Remember the ancient paths and walk therein.  Pray with others and show forth love. Pray for others; walk in humility and forgiveness. I will take you step by step as I have been. Wait upon Me - wait, I say, upon My timing.  

New Day

Distractions - a flurry of activities. Times of silence are as welcome as a downpour after a long, blistering drought. Solitude has been a foreigner. Yet it does make its appearance briefly, after the chaotic waves of frenzy have first beat upon the shores.

Whoever said "silence is golden", obviously learned to appreciate it after experiencing turbulent times. Perhaps it was war time, whether physical or spiritual, yet ironically, few (even some followers of Christ) know little of spiritual warfare and many even deny we have an adversary. It's astounding!

Warfare can be as simple as a prayer (a single shot, similar to the stone in David's slingshot), combined with the sword (the Word of the Lord), cutting off the head of the giant.

Continued Journal


There is much to be grateful for - a safe place, a roof over my head, food in my belly...yet negative forces intrude and the battle of flesh versus spirit reigns. Ah Lord, will I ever pass this test?

Another Day

My soul wearies at the hardships of life, yet every day there arises reasons to be grateful. Every day, the challenge to look to God through His beautiful Son Jesus Christ stands boldly before me.

Then, a whispering, "Do you dare to yet hope, despite all that has come against you?  Yes, I still speak in the darkness. I speak at unexpected times, in the still of silence."

I answered: Lord, in ways I have failed you, and bitterness tries desperately to take root in my soul, but I want none of it. I long to forgive, but betrayal and lies anger me. How did I not see it?

How will I do in the darkness that is now here and the grosser darkness that quickly is descending, to envelope the entire earth?

God's answer: Peace, be still. I shall yet use you as a vessel unto honour. Before destruction, the heart of man is haughty, but before honour is humility. [Prov 10:12] Do not forget this.

Heartfelt reply: O Lord - Abba, if I could learn to walk in true humility as [Your Son] Jesus, but as He did, to also walk in the boldness of wisdom, the strength of truth and integrity and the endurance of a mighty warrior such as Christ.

Lord's answer:  Patience just a little longer. Be still and be patient. Trust! When all seems hopeless, there is yet hope hiding behind the clouds of darkness like the sun on a stormy day.

In the battles of the flesh, I AM still God, and nothing is too hard for Me. Who turned the heart of Pharaoh to let My people go? Who brought madness upon a Nebuchadnezzar when pride lifted him high?

Who allowed Job to be tried and stretched to the maximum? Who tested the faith of Abraham to the point where he had the knife raised in the air, ready to end the life of his son of promise?


Who brought the raging waters down upon Pharaoh's armies when he was in hot pursuit of Moses and the Israelites? Who restored sanity to Nebuchadnezzar once he had learned that in all his majesty and fine accomplishments, he still was not greater than his Sovereign Creator?

Who restored double to Job after he was tried and after he repented of his self-righteousness and doubting questions, demanding that I explain Myself? Who stayed the hand of Abraham through a messenger (an angel) and ended the trial of his faith?

Yes indeed, I can stop the orbit of the earth. I can move the sun ten degrees forward or backward. I can cause a donkey to speak in the language of a man. I can cause water to pour forth from a rock in a time of need, or cause a coin of value to appear in the mouth of a fish to pay the tax collector.

Nothing is impossible or too hard for the Creator of all the heavens, the earth and all that is contained therein. Nothing!

When all seems against you, remember that I AM still Sovereign. I own the cattle on a thousand hills. I move on the hearts of mankind and I can still calm the wild seas.

Some claim that I do not intervene enough. Others claim that I do not intervene at all, and there are few who give Me glory in all things. There are the few who see My hand, yet who searches to see My face?


There are the precious few who search for My face to learn more of Me and who I am, and not always seek My hand to see what I will perform, or merely what I will give.

Indeed many are called, but few are chosen. I promised that I would never leave or forsake you. Wait upon Me as you continue to learn the ways I work. I have not led you astray nor have I allowed you to be deceived.  

Walk in integrity and diplomacy. Walk in love; walk in the Light and speak life. Lo, I am with you, even to the end of the world.  Selah

Final Note

I have prayed about what the Lord gave me, which I posted, about the countries on alert, as well as the words: fire, earthquake, great winds

He has not given me more regarding the matter at this time. I must accept that... and I do, but if He does impress more upon me, I will share it, but only if and when. We must keep in prayer and ever close to our Lord. 

There is a second part to this article which hopefully will be posted tomorrow.

It is a time of purifying, a time of cleansing. He will have a people ready to do His will, and to walk in His will, in love and obedience. May He grant wisdom, strength and courage to every reader. May He answer your deepest and most pressing prayers quickly, for your sake, but always...

Dangerous Ground - Hard Truths

Cast the First Stone 

Sometimes hard truths have to be said and it will not win any popularity contests. Jesus (Yeshua) spoke truth on all levels. It caused people to walk away from Him and desert/abandon Him; others were ready to stone Him or throw Him over precipices.

And still others made sure that He would be gotten rid of permanently (so they thought).  Bringing forth false witnesses to testify against Him, those who hated and mocked Him and who were jealous of Him, slandered, persecuted and abused Him, finally succeeded in having Him crucified.

They rejoiced at their victory – they had rid themselves of the one who was supposedly the “King of the Jews”; the one who constantly corrected them about the burdens they placed upon people and publicly condemned their pompous and pious attitudes. 

Jesus told the Pharisees that they were responsible for placing crushing burdens upon people that they themselves would not bear, nor did they lift a finger to help with them with their burdens.

And He said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! For ye lade (overload) men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.  [Lk 11:46]

Oh yes, those who wanted Jesus/Yeshua dead were congratulating themselves. Yet as a precautionary measure, just in case His disciples and dedicated apostles stole His body to bring more people into the faith, they insisted that Pontius address the possibility of this occurring. 

They suggested that a large stone be rolled before the entrance of the sepulcher to seal the tomb. Pontius (a people pleaser), wearied of the whole incident, granted their request and assigned Roman soldiers as guards to keep a watchful eye.
Little did the haters know that it was entirely God’s will for His Son to be crucified for the world, the perfect and acceptable sacrifice [Eph 5:2], a sin offering  [Is 53:10; 2Cor 5:21], an atoning sacrifice (propitiation) for all the sins of mankind [1Jn 2:2].  But victory was seen when the stone was rolled away and Christ Jesus/Yeshua was resurrected from the dead.[Lk 24:2, 3]

Forty days after His resurrection, after the people observed His death, over five hundred at once [1Cor 15:3-8] witnessed Him walking amongst them, alive again. His apostles and countless others also encountered Him. [Lk 24; Jn 21]

Jesus ascended into heaven. He shall soon return. Maranatha! Look at scripture and read what Jesus (Yeshua) prophesied regarding the signs and wonders that we would see in the last days.  I believe there will be true signs and wonders, the likes of which have not been seen before, but also signs and wonders by the false prophets, just as Yeshua forewarned. 

He foretold of how things would be and what people should look for in order to know His return is imminent.   Christ warned of deception, violence, corruption (as in the days of Noah), perversion, covetousness, much hatred (cold, hardened hearts), betrayal and gross evil (as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah) have swept over all nations of the world today.

Barely a day passes now where we do not hear of cold-blooded murders, rapes and tortures, now often involving several people at one time, happening all around the globe – labeled terrorism.  Yes, terrorism has intensified and its dominance is creeping into every country upon the earth.

I will be covering some topics that are what I consider "hard truths".  We are in days of foreboding darkness, and days where we must make a stand. What I present is not done so to bring shame or guilt to anyone, but rather to expose deception and the evil that is boldly presenting itself around the world.

As you read the following, may this story and one scripture (cast the first stonein particular, stay forefront in the reader's mind.  When Jesus was teaching at the temple early one morning, the scribes and Pharisees presented a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They were out for blood as they reminded Jesus that in the law of Moses, the command was that anyone caught in adultery was to be stoned to death. They wanted to know what He had to say.

It is written that they were tempting Jesus, so they could accuse him of heresy or some other charge and have him arrested.  They were not interested in any justice or mercy being shown to the woman. The whole scenario was meant to entrap Jesus.  He stooped down as if he did not hear them and began writing on the ground. To this day, no one has any idea what He wrote.

So when they continued asking Him, He lifted Himself up, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

And again He stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. [Jn 8:7-9]

After they all had left, Jesus asked her where her accusers were, asking if any man had condemned her (remained behind to carry out stoning her). She said, no.

...And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more. [Jn 8:11] 

Great Wickedness
At the beginning of this year, January 2016, the Lord led me to include a prophetic word in a post. It must be clearly stated that on my own, I know nothing more than the next person. Only the true, Living God knows all things; only He knows the end from the beginning.  It is by and through His precious and Holy Spirit that dwells within born-again believers that we may be warned of things to come.

This is a repeat for good reason. The word given January 3, 2016:

This year 2016 shall bring many more deaths, not only in wars with ISIS (Daesh), but also in internal conflicts amongst the people and government agencies (even with those who are supposed to protect the people).

Death also shall be in cataclysmic events, ‘resurrected’ diseases and violence (protests and riots in various nations) among people (for political, religious and personal reasons) that could have been avoided. It is driven by demonic forces in the workers of iniquity (wickedness, deviation from the right path, pain-ridden evil), [sinful humans worshipping Satan, false gods that people call by different names]. This pertains to all nations, all people, tribes and clans.

End of excerpt – to God alone be all glory

The Lord does indeed warn of things to come, yes, but all of that should NOT be our focus. These things are spoken so that we can line it up with scripture, and so that we will hunger more for Jesus.  If we focus too much on the things of this world, we will become filled with fear.  If we hold fast to Christ, especially in dark trials and in dry seasons, He will be sure to see us through.

He is the Word come in the flesh, and faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Christ Jesus is more concerned about our walk with Him. God has been purging the Body of Christ for some time.  The closer we are to where He desires us to be, the more intense the pruning and the purging. The trials to prove us seem more than we can bear at times.  Fear not; He is faithful who has called you.

He promised to direct our paths [Prov 3:5, 6], and He exhorted us to not be wise in our own eyes, but to fear the Lord and depart from evil.  The Lord does not tell us everything.  I cannot pretend to know all that is going on, or all that He is up to. This I have shared countless times over the years.

It is wisdom that He does not reveal all.  He is the Sovereign God.  But if and when He does reveal certain things, and by His leading alone, those with a true message must share it, for the sake of others, but always for the glory of God alone.  The spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. [Rev 19:10]

Not all will accept Christ, even as they watch and see prophecies given in the Holy Scriptures come to pass before their very eyes.  Jesus is still hated, mocked and ridiculed by multitudes to this day. There are others who do not even believe in God…they just believe in themselves.

But we all have the ‘power’ and ‘right’ to choose, don’t we?  Isn’t that what mankind strives for, even to this day…power and our rights?  If only we could truly see that only God has all-power.  We have the ‘right’ to do as He asks, to obey Him, or we have the ‘right’ to refuse Him (disobey). It pleased God to give us the power to choose, to exercise our God-given ‘right’, as it were.

The Lord God desires to direct us; desires that we lean on Him to take us through this life. It is His good pleasure to do so, but how often do we not trust Him?  Long ago, so very long ago, the people were not satisfied to follow God’s leading. They insisted on having a ‘king’ (leader/a man) over them. And to this day, people protest and are dissatisfied with those in leadership.  Are we ever satisfied?
And said unto him (Samuel), Behold, you are old, and your sons walk not in your ways: now make (give) us a king to judge us like the nations.

Here were God’s chosen people that He had set free from centuries of slavery and bondage. By His mighty hand and breathtaking power, they crossed over a sea, of which the Lord had made great walls out of the water.  Even more remarkable was the fact that the seabed and rocks were dry, so they could pass quickly without getting bogged down in thick, heavy mud.

After the forty years of miracles, and after crossing over the Jordan (again the waters parted, and again, they crossed over on dry land) into the Promised Land, the time came when the Israelites once again became discontent. They wanted a king to rule over them like the other nations had, thereby rejecting God as the one to rule over them, to lead them and go out before them in battles. 

But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord. And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken (listen) to the voice of the people in all that they say to you: for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should reign over them. 

According to all the works which they have done since the day I brought them out of Egypt even unto this day, wherein they have forsaken Me, and served other gods, so they do to thee also. Now therefore hearken (listen) to their voice; howbeit yet protest solemnly to them, and show them the manner of the king that shall reign over them. [1Sam 8:5-9]

God gives us warnings and exhortations.  He corrects and disciplines us as only He can do.  And yes, He even encourages us and will gladly strengthen us, when we cry out to Him. None of us know the mind of God, His thoughts or His ways. It is all beyond our comprehension, yet we strive to know and understand. 

The need to know began in the Garden of Eden when the fruit was eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  From that time and forward, mankind has sought knowledge, ever searching in the bottomless pit, the wealth of knowledge that has no end.  We seek to know and understand everything we possibly can.

Yet, when it comes to that which lies ahead, in truth, we only know what He reveals of Himself (out of love, grace and mercy) in His Word, by His Spirit, through personal experiences, dreams, visions and by the operation of the gifts of the Spirit throughout the Body of Christ.

Bless the Lord, for He is good and his mercy endures forever!  But we also have a very real adversary, with his wicked armies both in the spiritual and in the physical realms.  He is the father of lies, a murderer from the beginning. He will deceive people, counterfeiting God’s ways, bringing forth false ‘prophetic’ words through his false prophets.

Satan brings teaching from the Word of God that has been twisted, presenting corrupted doctrines (doctrines of devils ) through his false teachers, but are ravening wolves (wolves in sheep’s clothing). 

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; [1Tim 4:1]

The master illusionist can appear as an angel of light, and his ministers can appear as ministers of righteousness, yet we are told that their end will be according to their work. [2Cor 11:15]

Motivated by their own greed, pride and various lusts, many think they are usurping God’s authority and successfully deceiving the people, but their destiny, their doom is sealed…unless the false ones repent. Satan and his demons will never do so. Great is their hatred, rebellion and pride.

There is no chance of redemption for them (I will leave it at that because those belonging to certain sects of Universalism think otherwise, believing God will not only redeem wicked people who never repented, but also Satan and the fallen angels, but scripture is clear about their sealed fate). 

One truth that is solid is that every person living has a chance to repent as long as there is breath within them.  Keep in mind that we may never see the rest of today, let alone tomorrow.

Consider that faithful, ancient piece of advice carefully because procrastination tempts us all.  As the worn-out, yet well-used clichés go:  “Why put off until tomorrow what you can do today.” “We are not promised tomorrow.” “Death is no respecter of persons.”

Satan will not give up on his deception. He is cunning and clever, wise in distorting truth. He whispers lies mingled with truth, being the deceiver that he is.  He gives false hope with temptations to turn people from Jesus and to keep them from seeking and obeying God.

He has his dedicated followers as well, his sorcerers, enchanters, those who practice witchcraft and divination, false prophets and teachers. He has infiltrated the body of believers, sending enemies into the camp, wolves clothed in sheep’s clothing, as well as false brethren.

He allures through the senses (flesh) with temptations individually selected, temptations that promise to bring satisfaction to the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. It is not cruelty when we are told to “die to self”.  It is wisdom.  For example, a dead person cannot be tempted.

It is a daily battle to pick up our cross and die to self.  At times, it is a process of overcoming, but Christ is with us. That is why whenever we fall, we must rise and rise again. Sometimes we may stay down awhile, like a lost sheep stuck on a dangerous rock. We cannot go forward, backward or any way…all we can do is stand.

Time passes and we know we cannot stay in that place forever. We decide. Do we want to take a chance and fall away over the edge, or in great humility, will we plead for the Good Shepherd to rescue us. He hears the voice of the lost. 

He reveals His glory to us and His light will dispel the darkness round about us. He hears His children when they are discouraged, or when they have a broken and contrite heart. He hears the cry of the humble. When there is nothing we can do to help ourselves, is it not amazing that when we cry out to Him, the Shepherd appears?  Does He not leave the ninety-nine righteous to go after the one lost? 
Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. [Ps 50:15]

The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. [Ps 34:17]

Call unto Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not. [Jer 33:3]

God promises to help us. When we chose to walk the path, and pick up our cross to die to self, we will hear the voice of the accuser, the mocker, he who ridicules and slanders. Yes, it is a hard call, even agonizing as the flesh fights to survive, and narrow is the path.

We may stumble in our weakness, and another may have to help us in the carrying of the cross for a short distance.  But Jesus promised never to leave or forsake us. When we seek Him, we will find Him. The Word is true. God is an ever-present help in trouble! 

He will deliver us and often when we least expect it. How often does He move right when we have all but given up, holding fast to that mustard seed of faith? The Lord God will strengthen us so that we can endure. Jesus intercedes for those who love Him, that our “faith not fail” us.

So many are saying that we are NOT in the last days, that I am compelled to painstakingly present the following.  For the beloved brethren who are indeed aware of the times we are in, please bear with me.

Violence

Violence and deception, corruption and lawlessness are mushrooming around the globe.  We know that every year, unnecessary and untimely deaths take place. That is a sad reality, but when God sees fit to warn of “many more deaths” and “internal conflicts”, then it is my understanding that the “many deaths” pertain to ‘globally’, on an increased scale and unusual ways, and will stand out as above and beyond the ‘normal’ violence that occurs in today’s societies.

He is warning of the lateness of the hour, with signs all around that point to these days quickly becoming “as the days of Noah” and as in the days of “Sodom and Gomorrah”.  Whether we like it or not, we must pay attention and seek God and cleave to Him through Jesus Christ!  Deception, violence, corruption, betrayal, lawlessness, indeed…

I began writing this portion of the “Dangerous Ground” series over two weeks ago (mid-July), but replaced some of the events that took place with more recent ones.  However, it seems nearly every week we hear reports of yet another deadly ‘terrorist’ attack, many being claimed by IS (Daesh). If I kept updating, this part would never get posted.

Even as I have went over this writing yet one more time to check for errors before posting it today (July 28, 2016), I have added yet two more links. One link leads to a news article reporting about a warning from the director of the FBI about more terrorist attacks coming on U.S. soil due to ISIS being defeated in Syria. 

The second link is a report from NBC news that notes that Rio de Janeiro, the city where the next Olympics are being held, has increased its security in fear of an attack.
Yes, violence is occurring at alarming rates, with two more recent episodes happening in Florida, United States, as well as in Kabul, Afghanistan.  In the U.S., the attack was the fatal shooting at a nightclub in Fort Meyers, Florida (July 24, 2016), where a party for teens (swimsuit-themed) was held.

The ages of the young people (mostly teens) ranged from 12 – 27 years old, with the two confirmed dead being males, aged only 14 and 18 years old.  Three suspects were being held in custody but no names were released as of the time of this writing.
The day before, July 23, 2016, 80 people were killed and 230 injured in Kabul, Afghanistan in a suicide bomb blast, an attack which has been claimed by IS (Daesh).  

“Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack, adding that its fighters detonated explosive belts “at a gathering of Shiites,” according to IS-affiliated Amaz news agency.”  (Full report at the RT link above)

Wall Street Journal reportsAn Afghan intelligence agency official said the attack was carried out by three suicide bombers dispatched from Islamic State’s eastern stronghold in the Achin district. “There were three bombers and they were all armed with suicide vests. Probably they all detonated their explosives at once,” the official said.

Many of the protesters were ethnic Hazaras, a Shiite minority group, who had gathered to oppose plans to reroute a planned power line – a decision they fear would deprive a central Afghan province of a major source of electricity and investment.”

The reports regarding the Florida shooting of teens vary slightly, but an estimated 14 to 17 other young people were injured.  And as recent as Friday, July 22, 2016, nine people were shot and killed in a Munich, Germany shopping mall, all aged 14 to 20 years old, except for one. 

Last month, four innocent people sitting at a cafe were killed in an Israeli shopping mall in Tel Aviv, when two terrorists arrived and randomly began shooting. Ten went to hospital where three died. One terrorist was amongst the injured and was listed in serious condition.  

A terrorist, a Tunisian man residing in Nice, France, drove a cargo truck and ripped through crowded streets, killing 84 people and injuring 303 before police managed to surround the vehicle and kill the driver.

Approximately the 19th of June, 2016, a cataclysmic event occurred in Karelia, in northwest Russia, close to the border with Finland. Reports state that 13 children between the ages of nine and eleven years old drowned in Syamozero Lake during a strong storm that arose.

At the time of this writing, one person is unaccounted for. It is not known if the child made it to safety or not. A storm warning was in effect and the lake is known to be dangerous in storms.  One adult instructor died. Most of the children were from Moscow and Petersburg, with the deceased being orphans and children from troubled families.

The camping trip had been sponsored and therefore a gift. Children’s Rights ombudsman Peter Astakhov told RIA, a state news agency, that the deceased children were not wearing any life jackets or vests.

The Lord forewarned back in January that there would be “many more deaths” and “death will also be from cataclysmic events…”  This cataclysmic event at the Karelia camp on Syamozero Lake could have been avoided for the following reasons.

(1) The deceased children had no safety gear on (helmets or life jackets/vests).

(2) The instructors were not properly trained; it is possible that alcohol was consumed.

(3) A storm warning was in effect; even the local fishermen avoided the lake that day.

(4) The Russian Emergencies Ministry was not informed, so no timely rescue was conducted if the rafters did not return when expected. REM states that it would have advised the camp to cancel the trip for the day, due to the storm warning in effect. The lake is known for sudden, strong storms.

(5) The storm was violent, with strong winds and waves up to two meters (six feet) high in places.

(6) A criminal case has been filed by officials with the charge of “the provision of services which do not meet safety (security) requirements and negligently caused death (manslaughter) of two or more persons.”

Hundreds of terrorists will fan out to infiltrate western Europe and the U.S. to carry out attacks on a wider scale as Islamic State is defeated in Syria, FBI Director James Comey warned.

“At some point there’s going to be a terrorist diaspora out of Syria like we’ve never seen before,” Comey said Wednesday in New York.  “We saw the future of this threat in Brussels and Paris,” said the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, adding that future attacks will be on “an order of magnitude greater.”  Source: Insurance Journal (National News)

NBC News reports that Rio de Janeiro beefs up its security in preparation of any possible terrorist attack, due to the thousands of people attending the Olympics, held from July 28 – August 4, 2016.

I do not need to post more, as other countries have suffered from attacks, riots, protests (demonstrations) and cataclysmic events so far this year. We will see even more increase in security around the globe, and we will continue to hear warnings. It would be a long list if I continued, and we are only in the seventh month, with five months remaining.

LGBT Movement (Civil Rights)

I am sure this next portion will not sit well with many, as there are those who have family members and friends who are involved with the LGBT movement, or perhaps they themselves have sexual preferences identical to those who are involved in or with the civil rights movement. 

A surprising majority of people now believe and state that “homosexuals are born that way”. Independent research groups state that their studies have revealed that there is a difference in the brain, as well as in the genes (discovery of a gay gene).

Why would God condemn homosexuality if it was a genetic disorder? Why would it not be something that would then need healing, rather than being called an abomination?

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Gay Pride Parades are global (celebrating LGBT – or biblically called, homosexuality).  They are celebrated from Vancouver, BC to Halifax, Nova Scotia, from California to Florida, from the Netherlands to Venice, from Philippines to India, from Britain to Australia.

Even in Israel, the Gay Pride parades have been held, although the Be’er Sheva parade, which was held on July 13, 2016, was diverted by police.  Participants were denied permission to march through the main road of the city.  The LGBT movement is doing its best to have homosexuality embraced globally. As of 2016, there are at least 21 countries allowing same-sex marriages. 

Those who hold fast to God’s commandments and His Word will be hated. We are considered ‘old school’ and ‘religious zealots’, and at times, even called “Pharisees”.   The new name for those who believe all God speaks about homosexuality is: “homophobic”.  

The day is coming when any who oppose the Antichrist system will indeed, be killed and those who do it will believe they are doing God a service. [Jn 16:2]  The Word of God is very clear and sober about unnatural relationships.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affection, for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another: men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet (necessary, as binding).  [Rom 1:24-26]

As for the “Gay Pride” parade:


The show of their countenance (pride) does witness against them; and they declare (parade) their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. [Is 3:9]

Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. [Rom 1:32] (…not only continue to do so, but approve of those who do the same)


Transgender beauty pageants now happen, and who can tell that these women were once men?

Does that mean that we are to go about killing homosexuals? No, rather we are reminded that all of us are worthy of death, for the wages of sin is death. [Rom 6:23]  All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The sin of one may not be the sin of another, but sin is sin nonetheless.

There are 77 countries around the world that have strict laws against homosexual acts.

This site (updated May 28, 2016) categorizes the countries where homosexuality is illegal, placed alphabetically under the headings of Africa, Asia (including the Middle East), the Americas and Oceania.  

Europe has no country with a law against homosexuality. Russia and Lithuania have “repressive laws against ‘propaganda of homosexuality’” but have no specific law penalizing homosexual acts.


Homosexuality is a problem in every nation, every country, globally.  The majority of countries around the world will not tolerate it and enforce strict laws, some even with death penalties. Less than half the countries, such as Canada and the United States, are supportive of same-sex marriages and homosexual activities.  However, two-thirds of the countries still strongly oppose it and have stringent laws in place for offenders.

Jesus died for the sins of all mankind; there is not any sin that cannot be forgiven, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.  “Love the sinner and hate the sin” is not scriptural and will not be found in the Bible. It is an expression that came from Ghandi, who reworded a thought that Augustine had written at one time. 

The prophets of old, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ all gave the same message – repent. Jesus reached out to the rejected, the outcast and the downtrodden.  He healed the lepers, ones that society in those days shunned and isolated. 

At one time, homosexuals were shunned and isolated.  It is only in the last few decades that most began to “come out of the closet”, as the saying goes, indicating that they have come out of hiding or secrecy.  But now, more countries have begun to accept homosexuality and have written laws allowing same-sex marriage, which, according to God’s word remains taboo.

Through His people, filled with the Holy Spirit, the message of the Lord is heard clearly:“Come unto Me. Repent – be forgiven and cleansed, for the kingdom of God is at hand.”


There are multitudes that have come out of homosexuality and are forgiven, cleansed and saved. They feel free and are happy.  Many have married those of the opposite sex; many with children. Jesus read the beginning of Isaiah 61 in the synagogue for a reason, but none understood at the time.  He was revealing to them who He was and what His mission was.

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good tidings unto the meek; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; teat they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified. [Is 61:1-3]

Young people who are homosexual or who are questioning their sexual orientation are often rejected, ridiculed, confused and depressed. Among all age groups, it is the youth that have a high rate of suicide.  All things are possible with God and He still delivers people out of bondage.  Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. Great is His love!

Counseling, prayer and repentance are what each need. There is room for all at the cross and the arms of Jesus Christ are still open wide to all who will come. By His spilled blood, all can be cleansed and forgiven.  We have all fallen short of the glory of God, every single one of us.

The only one born who remained without sin is Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha’Maschiach), which is why only He could be the perfect sacrifice, the Lamb slain, born of incorruptible seed, by the Word of God, for the purpose of being the ONLY way unto salvation.

There is hope for ALL who confess and repent of their sins to the God who created them. Christ Jesus died for all who would believe and receive Him as Saviour and Lord.

But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by Him do believe in God that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.  [1Pet 1:19-21]

From homosexual to heterosexual, from Muslim to Christian, from white to black, from Indian to Asian (and everyone else in-between)…ALL need Christ Jesus.  His purpose in dying, being buried and resurrected to life again was so that all mankind would have the opportunity to be forgiven, cleansed and set free through Him, to the glory of God!

Bestiality

God gave them up to uncleanness through the lust of their own hearts…” is a portion of scripture that would easily address bestiality as well. It is not enough that the natural relationship between one man and one woman has been sabotaged and corrupted, but there are those who desire interaction with animals as well.

Canada’s Supreme Court was in the hot seat when it ruled in favour of a man who had been charged with bestiality, when he forced sexual interaction between a daughter and their pet dog. His attempt to have the dog penetrate the girl failed, but other sexual acts were carried out. Since no animal penetration occurred, the charge was nullified.

The court declared that legislature had not “clearly defined” bestiality and therefore, the sexual act that took place was permissible under the law. It is obviously an old perversion, since God found it necessary to make guidelines, which He gave to Moses.

Neither shall you lie with any beast to defile yourself therewith (thereupon): neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it [is] confusion. [Lev 18:12] 

And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast. [Lev 20:15, 16]

The Word of God is clear on His position regarding such matters. If people want to parrot that “we are under grace, not under the law”, I beg to differ. We are under grace because of what Jesus accomplished with his death, burial and resurrection; however, Jesus himself stated that He did not come to “abolish” the law, but to fulfill it.

He did not sin; therefore, He fulfilled the law. He is the New Covenant because mankind could not keep the law, which exposed our sins and our need for a Saviour.  Through Christ, we can obtain mercy and grace.

Through Jesus/Yeshua, we can be cleansed of our sins when we truly repent and ask forgiveness, and we can boldly approach the throne of God (spiritually), yet in fear of the Lord. That goes for ANY of us, ALL who repent and believe...that is where the walk of faith begins.  It is for..."whosoever will."

We have natural (aero and thermodynamic laws, gravity, motion etc) and physical laws, laws of the land, and yes, there are also spiritual laws.  Even though God is Sovereign and all-powerful (omnipotent), and could do as He pleases when He pleases, He has established constraints even upon Himself.

One example of this is our ability to reason and decide for ourselves, and make choices (freewill). We can decide to believe in God or not; we can choose to accept Jesus or not. In His goodness with creation, He chose to grant us this privilege, though He could have made us as robots which have no power to make their own choices or decisions, but are instead ‘programmed’ a specific way.

There is the law of faith [Rom 3:27]; the law of sowing and reaping [Gal 6:7]; the law of Spirit of life versus sin and death [Rom 8:2; Rom 6:23]; righteousness (obedience; right-standing) brings reward [Josh 1:8; Deut 5:33; Deut 28:1; Is 32:16, 17]; plan of salvation only through faith in Jesus [Jn 1:12]

Abortion

Another sensitive issue for so many, believer and unbeliever alike is abortion. This is when the child is cut away from the mother’s womb and its life ended.  The truth is that most women that have abortions do so because the pregnancy is unwanted, an inconvenience. 

There are times that a pregnancy occurs after a rape or incestuous act, but statistics have shown that this is the case in only about 2% of abortions.  Many believe that abortion is acceptable in such cases. Two wrongs do not make one right. Taking the life of another is still murder.


When did we become God and determine whether a human should live or die? Yet we are told that a fetus is not a human, but once fertilization occurs, the joining of the sperm and egg does indeed begin the process of developing a child. Should the decision of survival not be left up to God, who alone knows the end from the beginning? 

Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet unto the nations. [Jer 1:5]

I knew a woman who became pregnant from a rape at the age of fifteen.  She kept the incident from her parents until she was well into her pregnancy and began to show. Her parents suggested that she give the child up for adoption. This young woman hated the child within her because it reminded her of the great trespass that was done against her. Her fears held her back until it was too late for a safe abortion.

Adoption of the baby was decided upon. Her parents were not Christians, but they counseled their daughter to wait one month after delivery before putting the child up for adoption. The young woman was adamant in that she would not change her mind. She hated the child, she claimed. Period!

After the pain of delivery, the doctors placed her newborn son in her arms. At first, she resisted, but then agreed to just “look at him”.  She felt a strange pull on her heart.  He was so tiny, so helpless…she realized that he was as helpless toward her at that moment as she was helpless toward her assailant. As she realized that, she quickly released the child to a nurse.

To cut to the quick, the young woman fell in love with her son and no longer considered adoption an option. Her parents told her that she could continue her education, as her mother was willing to care for the child whilst her daughter, the new mother, was in school.

That young woman, who despised the act that impregnated her (rape) and who initially despised the child that was conceived by her offender, came to love her newborn son.  She realized that the child was not responsible for what happened to her, but was the inadvertent (involuntary) result.

Eventually she married, and her husband loved the boy as his own. She and her family ended up becoming Christians (another great story). She forgave the one who raped her. She felt that God perfected His word in her life, particularly Romans 8:28 "For we know that all things work together for good, to them who love God and are the called, according to His purpose."

She never regretted her decision to keep the baby and he grew up to be a son that both parents, as well as his siblings, were proud of. What a testimony she has to the glory of God!

Yes, there are some decisions that are difficult. If you are a Christian, God will guide you.  No matter what reason causes you to consider abortion, I urge you to seek God and His counsel. Scripture is clear that God forms the child in the womb. 

If you are not a Christian, there is a way to receive counsel from your Creator, and that way is repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ. There is always hope for the hopeless, answers for the questioning and freedom for the captives.

For You have possessed my reins: You have covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are Your works; and that my soul knows right well.

My substance was not hid from You, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Your book all my members are written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. [Ps 139:13-16]

In ancient days, it was the custom throughout many lands to sacrifice children. The Lord was greatly angered when the Israelites began to sacrifice their sons and daughters to idols. Instead of destroying the idols and nations that were doing wickedly, His people joined the heathen in their customs.

But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. [Ps 106:35-38]

(Note* - I've revised a few lines below because I do not want to sound condemning. I'm sure many who have gone through this life-changing decision have seen all kinds of shocking reactions and heard some harsh things. Sadly, some of the worst words and reactions come from believers. My intention is not to join in finger-pointing. There is no stone or rock in my hands.

Today, abortion is acceptable in countless nations, but it is not acceptable to God. I do believe that all sins are forgivable, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Abortion is today’s ‘child sacrifice’, sacrificed to 'a god that is no god at all'.  

Who is the one who tempts all of mankind? Who has convinced the multitudes (once again) that taking the life of another is alright? Who is a murderer from the beginning, the father of lies?  It is Satan. 

From early days, Satan has convinced people to sacrifice their children to ‘gods’. Those who did so believed for 'special favours'; others believed it was pleasing to their 'god'. 

As stated, most societies today, but not all. Countries like India, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, South Africa, Libera (other places in Africa), Mexico, Chile, just to name some.  Yet, for most countries, child sacrifice is not allowed in the cultures. Those into the occult in all countries do believe in sacrificing human life for certain rituals and covertly carry such out.  But unsatisfied, Satan came up with a way that is not only allowed, but is openly accepted.He called it abortion.

I know many women who regret having had an abortion. They silently grieve and fall under heavy condemnation within themselves. That guilt and shame is NOT from God.

There are some, and sadly this is also true, there are some who feel no regret, no remorse at all. To them, what was inside of them was not anything more than a large blood clot, a mass of tissue and blood.  

When I was barely in my 20s, I knew a woman who was very promiscuous. Abortion was her form of birth control. There was one year where she had four abortions. She was very fertile. 

She carried on with abortions for a few years that I am aware of, until one day she fell in love. She became pregnant and she ended up marrying the man. They had two children before she divorced him for physical abuse.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. [Rom 3:11] 


The Bible says, ALL.  My sins may not be the ones you committed and vice versa, but that does not make one better or worse than the other. We all have to repent of (change our mind and heart; turn away from) our sins. It is the release from heavy burdens; a cleansing downpour, a fresh start to begin a new journey. It is the beginning of a new life.

The governments today are changing laws into what is called ‘lawlessness’ by the Almighty Creator; laws that are against God’s will and defy His wisdom. 
Same-sex marriages, bestiality and abortions are all forms of lawlessness. 

Violence abounds, corruption and deception have become the norm globally.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (lovers of money, possessions, even wanting what is not theirs), boasters (proud, arrogant), blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers (liars, false witnesses), incontinent, fierce (violent, abusive), despisers of those that are good,

Traitors (betrayal), heady, high-minded lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. [2Tim 3:1-5]

As of July 26, 2016 (yes, I’ve been working on this part of the writing for well over two weeks now [prayer, waiting on the Lord and pressing matters]), over 300 people have been executed in the Philippines. President Rodrigo Duterte has urged authorities, as well as the general population, to kill drug dealers, drug addicts and other criminals.

As a result, it has been proven that many innocent people have also been slaughtered, without investigation, arrest or a trial in court.  Signs are often put on the bodies saying whether they were an addict or drug dealer.  According to a report by Independent news (UK), the president has offered cash rewards for the “turning in” of drug lords.


President Duterte believes that addicts hooked on meth (methamphetamine aka ‘speed’) have no chance of rehabilitation.  The new police chief of the Philippines has ordered all police officers who are linked to narcotics trafficking in any way to surrender or be killed. 

He allotted 48 hours for them to turn themselves in.  President Duterte stated that a list of officials, police and Chinese nationals involved in the drug trade would soon be announced and their identities disclosed.

Father Jacque Hamel, Rouen Normandy - throat slashed by Muslim youth

On July 26, 2016, whilst conducting mass, Father Jacques Hamel, an 85 (some reports say 86) year old priest had his throat slit in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray (Seine-Maritime/Seine River), an old church located in Rouen, Normandy.  

Police ''martyr'' two Muslim men, age 19, the other a minor

Two young Muslim males (one 19 years old; the other a minor), who had also held five hostages at one point, were responsible for the attack, which was ultimately claimed by IS, a jihadist organization. The two were “martyred” by police when they exited the church.

François Hollande, President of the Republic described the two young men as “terrorists claiming Daesh [Arabic acronym El]. He stated, “We are facing a group, Daesh, who declared war on us. We must conduct this war by all means, in accordance with the law, so that we are a democracy. Let’s block, that is how we will win the war against hatred and fanaticism. We must stand together.”

I will end this portion with the news of 15 killed and 45 injured by a man who went on a rampage in Sagamihara, Japan, a city west of Tokyo.  The man, said to be in his 20s, was a former employee of Tsukui Yamayuri-en, a handicapped facility in Midori Ward. Tokyo Reporter states the man turned himself in at the Tsukui Police station.

Violence is global and out of control.

Deception

Falsehoods or deception will only be successful when cloaked and disguised as truth.  Deception hides naked underneath the sugar coats.  Satan’s ultimate goal is deception, just as he began in the Garden of Eden when he twisted God’s Word in order to tempt, deceive and seduce the woman. Once deceived, the woman Eve, in turn, convinced Adam to disobey God.  Satan causes people to be deceived and to deceive. 
[2Tim 3:13]

All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for My name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity (lawlessness, wickedness) shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  [Mat 24:8-13]

Great wickedness has and is escalating exponentially.  More and more people are becoming desensitized to evil reports. Children are being raised on books, movies and games that promote and glorify violence, murder and even witchcraft.

Yes, many people grieve over these things, and yes they can get stirred up, but it is almost as if the majority of the populace has come to expect violence, the “new normal”, as the news media and the politically correct circles have come to call it.

Multitudes of people are moved at the moment, yet secretly glad when an evil has not touched them or their loved ones. It is as though “life must go on” and soon things slip away from memory, until the next violent or grossly immoral event occurs, then, we remember all the horrendous events.  

I do not believe that is intentional for most, but part of a survival mechanism, as well as part of the ‘desensitizing’ and the ‘dumbing down’ of society intentionally perpetrated by rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness in high places.

Yet, the family and friends of victims of war, as well as the victims of violence, have to bear the suffering, loss and grief thrust upon them.  Violence has become an unpredictable rollercoaster, a never-ending ride that now has taken on unprecedented and God-forsaken twists and turns.  There is no sudden stop or end in sight, just as Jesus forewarned.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. (man changed, not God)

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.  [Gen 6:5-6; 12-13]

Is everything not corrupted now?  Is the earth not filled with violence once again? Every day in the news, people are suffering as a result of violence – war, terrorism, racism, social and religious intolerance, decrying unjust and biased laws, protests and riots are increasing, and the list goes on.

Hearts are indeed waxing cold, as prophesied.  Laws are changing to condone sin and to “please the people” (political correctness).  The laws now embrace ‘lawlessness’, an open rebellion against God’s will, His Word and His commandments. It truly is as the days of Noah, just as Jesus prophesied.  

We are in the end times, despite the protests of the naysayers…and may God open the eyes of those who cannot yet see the signs all around us that Jesus (Yeshua) told us to look for.

For the mystery of iniquity (lawlessness) does already work: only he who now lets (restrains, holds back) will let, until he be taken out of the way.  And then shall that Wicked (the lawless one) be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy him with the brightness of His coming,

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [2Thess 2:7-10]

Is that not the way it is now?  Is God’s way not corrupted upon the earth, yet again?  According to statistics, homosexuality (LGBT – lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) is slowly being accepted and embraced by most countries around the world. Spain, Germany, Czech Republic and Canada scored the highest acceptance overall globally, according to a poll done by Pew Research Center in 2013.  

Canada, Australia, Argentina and France follow up close behind. This report reveals statistics and data from the Pew survey from 2001-2016, and pertains to United States only.  According to the report, in 2001, 57% of Americans were opposed to same-sex marriage. This year’s poll (2016), 55% (over half) are now in support of same-sex marriage.

For 2016, data reveals that white evangelical Protestants and black Protestants remain low in acceptance of homosexuality; however, acceptance in those areas is slowly rising.  Is it compromise, or have the people become so duped that they yield to deception? 

The data reveals that those not affiliated with any religion (non-denominational) had the highest percentage of white mainline Protestants with the highest acceptance average.  Pew’s determines that the shift is due to generation change, with younger generations being more supportive. The older generation has apparently become more supportive in the past ten years (decade).

Are the people not being deceived? Are not even those caught up in the sin of homosexuality also being deceived? Is society not slowly accepting the ways of lawlessness? Has corruption and deception not infiltrated the churches? It is all happening just as Jesus/Yeshua forewarned and prophesied.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  [Rev 12:9]

Of a greater concern is deception taking place within the Body of Christ; false prophets, false teachers, doctrines of devils, because we are to be examples to the world. We are to be set apart, but instead, many are embracing the ‘new age global unity’, the ways of the world, and compromising the very Word of God by their actions. 

It is not the ‘love’ of God that inspires this, but an agenda to bring in the Antichrist and his system of operating. There has been an infiltration of false brethren, as well as Satanists and Luciferians, whose entire agenda is to corrupt and mislead new converts, those weak in the faith and those burdened down by sins that they struggle to overcome.

Several denominations have ordained transgender or homosexual ministers.  There are many now who pastor a church and who carry out wretched methods and sinful practices. False signs and wonders have been manifesting for decades now, but are ever-increasing. 

It is not my intention to get into the false (counterfeit) tongues, or the doctrines of devils such as the one that teaches people that they are ‘gods’, or the prosperity gospel, or the counterfeit signs and wonders appearing real, such as gold teeth, gems, gold nuggets and gold dust, etc, as well as other deceptions in the church.

Does God tempt us with the very things He tells us not to covet?  I have touched upon these things in past articles. We are cautioned to test every spirit to see if it is of God [1Jn 4:1]. That is God’s wisdom; we are all free to research on our own.  We are encouraged to study to show ourselves approved.

The whole purpose of sharing the above was to point out, beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are indeed in perilous times.  If the last days began in the time of the apostles, how much closer are we to the return of Jesus Christ now?

Yet, the naysayers are many and who can blame them, with all the false prophets and false teachers who down through the centuries have prophesied dates of the return of the Messiah, or the destruction of the world etc.  But those who know their God and His Word and abide obediently in Christ stay wise.

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lust, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. [2 Pet 3:3-4; 8-9]

It astounds me that there are some Christians who truly believe we are far away from the return of Christ.  Prophecies are being fulfilled before our very eyes.  That is another topic for another time. The one thing the Lord Jesus clearly forewarned about regarding the last days was deception.

When the disciples privately came to Jesus (Yeshua) on the Mount of Olives, they wanted to know when the things He had spoken would come to pass, what would be the sign of His coming and the end of the world? When Jesus answered, the very first words out of His mouth were about deception.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many.  [Mat 24:4, 5]

He goes on to mention some of the things that will take place (wars, rumours of war, etc), but then again brings up deception, hate and betrayal.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity (lawlessness) shall a bound, the love of many shall wax cold. [Mat 24:10-12]

And before His prophetic warning was complete, He repeated again: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [Mat 24:24]

As I have stated before more than once, when God repeats a thing, I pay attention because God does not waste words. If He repeats a thing, it is necessary. We constantly need reminders.  There are things we know deep within, yet with all the busyness and distractions of the world, we tend to forget. A timely reminder is a precious gift.

Further on, in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, it is written: 

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Yes, I repeated the above scripture to drive home the fact that deception is a key weapon in the enemy’s arsenal for these end times. It is his most powerful weapon. Remember, Lucifer (Satan) managed to deceive and convince one-third of the then-holy angels to join him in rebelling against their Creator, the holy Living God.

To really drive home the warnings that Jesus and His apostles spoke, I end this part on deception with words spoken by the apostles Peter and John.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.  [2 Pet 2:1-3]

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [1Jn 4:1]

It is important that we keep aware of what is going on around us, as surely as the prophets of old, God’s people and Jesus and His apostles were aware.  We cannot allow all the terrifying and treacherous things happening to consume us with fear, or for evil to become our main focus. Yet, on the other hand, we cannot turn a blind eye to it and pretend it is not happening. 

In is crucial that we keep our eyes upon Jesus. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit and be continue to be filled (remember the five wise virgins made sure their lamps did not run out of oil).  We need not fear because God is for us and not against. 

The Lord God will direct our steps and keep us from deception, particularly when we pray that we will not be deceived either by self or any demon.  Cry out for truth and God will not send strong delusion.  When we pray fervently to remain filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit, God will grant it. Therein, we need not fear, but rest in Christ Jesus and fully trust God.

For everyone that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. If a son shall ask for bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?  [Lk 11:10-13]

Please understand that in no way am I condemning anyone. I remember well where the Lord brought me from and the patience He has had with me since, as He works purging and purifying. I have not 'arrived', nor shall I until I pass from this earth.

What I am trying to say is that we ARE in the last of the last days. Jesus is waiting to forgive any who cry out to Him in genuine repentance. He will come to you, forgive you, cleanse you and lift you up. All past sins will be cast into the deep sea, the sea of forgetfulness.

He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities (lawlessness, sins); and You will cast all their sins into the depths of the seas.  [Micah 7:19]

What I have presented are hard truths. But I would rather you despise me and go forward in repentance and be saved, than to love me, only to end up in the lake of fire, the second death. That is another hard truth.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. [Rev 20:15]
