They Want Us Distracted and Deceived

May I Have Your Attention?

For over a decade, the words ’hindrance’ and ‘distraction’ have been posted in numerous articles in the archives as reasons for some serious delays in writing and posting. In the past few years, distractions have increased exponentially, to the degree that both the Christian and the secular sectors are blaming distractions for a multitude of problems.

Social media vies for our attention; news media vies for our attention; entertainment lures in the masses. All of these have become notorious distractions to such a degree that for many, these platforms have become addictive. People get into scrolling and find it difficult to pull themselves away. To multitudes, social media is such a welcome distraction that it has become idolatry for many.

Countless people wake up in the morning, and the first thing they do after a nature call is grab their cell or tablet, or hop onto their computer. I fell into the trap myself, but praise God for the Holy Spirit who opened my eyes to what I was doing.

There was a real pull, a genuine tug-of-war to overcome what fast became a daily habit. For me, it was work, a ministry, a hunger to share the gospel and dispel the deception when I could, and point people to He who is to be our first love, Jesus the Christ.

Yet the research led me to openings that linked together so smoothly that it did not take long before I found myself on a wild adventure in places that I had never even heard of before. The rabbit holes became a maze of rollercoaster-like tunnelling. Any of us can be lured back into the dizzying attractions that the world offers because it caters to the wants, needs and desires of the flesh.

We learn, and we practice overcoming temptations. We do not all share the same desires of the flesh, but we all share the same weaknesses of the carnal nature, and the ease of sinning. Surfing the internet and visiting respectable sites is not a sin, but if we are not careful, we can easily become hooked.

Lured Away by Our Own Desires

And before we even realize it, we can be seduced by the lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh and find ourselves caught in the snares of idolatry. Lust does not always pertain to sexual matters, but rather the strong desire to satisfy what our eyes long to see, while our flesh can spend hours on an adventure and still never quite be satisfied.

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed. Then lust (desire), when it is conceived, shall bring forth [gives birth to] sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.  [Jam 1:14, 15]

Hence, the pull, the addiction, the need to discover more. Idolatry can be a subtle trap, where oftentimes people do not even realize they are caught in its grip. The pride of life would deny it. [1Jn 2:16] The internet definitely has the attention of young and old, rich and poor, educated and unlearned, and believer to atheist alike. There is no respecter of persons.

Researchers have noted that Christian authors, pastors, and theologians consider distractions to be at a crisis level, not only as a productivity killer, but as a tool that starves the soul. That is a summary, not a direct quote.

John Mark Comer
mixture

The digital age is being blamed for ‘digital distractions’ that “sabotage spiritual growth” and act as “the primary tool of the devil in the modern world”, according to one Christian author, pastor, and speaker. That person is John Mark Comer, who wrote “The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry and Practicing the Way” and “Living No Lies: Recognize and Resist the Three Enemies That Sabotage Your Peace.”

These books have not been on my list to read, but the reviews reveal that Comer strongly addresses these themes. He draws from questionable sources that teach false doctrines, which is why I apply the brakes.

I agree that “distractionscan be a weapon in the hands of the enemy, but it is an error of ignorance to blame all distractions on Satan. He loves the attention, though. In reality, we can be distracted by many things that have absolutely nothing to do with evil. Satan’s primary tools are deception and fear, not distraction, yet it is not just the devil who deceives. People are fully capable of deception without any enemy influence whatsoever.

The prophet Jeremiah reminds us: “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” [Jer 17:9] Yet the Lord promises to give us a heart of flesh (and remove the heart of stone), as well as put a new spirit in us. [Ezek 36:26]

This is the ‘new birth’ that happens through the Holy Spirit when we are born again. Ezekiel’s prophecy has proven to be true.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. [2Cor 5:17] (Emphasis mine)

Praise God through Jesus/Yeshua, for regeneration, the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who gives spiritual life to us who were once spiritually dead.

Although Comer is said to be non-denominational, he borrows spiritual practices from historical traditions including Quaker, Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, and monastic movements such as Buddhism. His own spiritual director is a Jesuit priest.

He is a good example of a teacher who mixes the true with the false, thus misleading multitudes. Some would call him a wolf in sheep’s clothing. When a teacher presents much that is true, people end up trusting the narrative and accepting the false as fact. Yet, read or listen carefully to his teaching.  He leans towards righteousness by works, positing that Jesus is a “wise mentor”, a “lifestyle coach”, instead of exalting Him as the crucified and resurrected Lord/King.

He makes it “about us” and what “we must do” rather than what Jesus Christ accomplished through all He did. Salvation is a gift because the Lamb of God paid for our salvation with His very life, shedding His blood. He did so willingly, filled with agape love, in obedience to His Father, the living God.

None of us have all the answers, and that question remains a mystery – perhaps in eternity, we will know more. Comer is ‘Teacher in Residence’ at Vintage Church, Santa Monica, LA. God instructed that if any lack wisdom, all we have to do is ask, and He will give generously, without reproach. [Jam 1:5]

One journalist states that Comer preached a sermon against Augustine’s and Calvin’s view of God’s Sovereignty, affirming that not everything happens according to God’s control. I disagree wholeheartedly. God is fully in control, but what most people argue about is “why” God allows what He allows at times.

Be on guard, dear souls. The spiritual war is intensifying as things build toward the climax, the Great Tribulation, the great falling away (apostasy). We do not need to panic, but we do need to keep our feet on the ground, our eyes upon our Commander-in-chief, and the Word of God engraved upon the walls of our hearts.

As stated, even the secular arena is tooting the horn about distractions. Some newspapers are inviting people to apply for a subscription “without distractions”. Others make up pictures to joke about distractions, but depending on the timing and situation, they could be dangerous.

My concern is to guard myself against allowing distraction to consume me to the point where I become unclear about the direction the Lord wants me to take or what He wants me to do.

Do not err, my beloved brethren. [Jam1:16]

The Word of God is for all of us. Let us take heed – and let us help each other as well.

Beware of False Prophets and False Teachers

Behold, the days come, says the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord. [Amos 8:11]

The Holy Spirit goes ahead of us to direct our steps as He leads us, and He is our rear guard, as we lean on our Saviour and not our own understanding. [Prov 3:5-6] When we keep Christ Jesus our first love, He will help us with the distractions because these days they are affecting every one of us. It is incredibly busy in this hectic, confused world. Things happen at breakneck speed, including distractions, to take us off course.

I would like to share something that I came across yesterday. This is being added here because this article was mostly complete, but I believe the Body of Christ needs each other to function as a whole, with Christ as the Head (I have often said this – thanks for bearing with my repetition. I feel it is important and worth the reminder, for myself as well). For that reason, I have added what I would like to share here. It fits well after speaking about John Mark Comer.

Amos was upon my heart. He was not a prophet, but a shepherd and a gardener, tending flocks and looking after fig trees. He was a humble, simple man who loved Adonai. Yesterday I picked up the NLT (New Living Translation), a Bible I picked up in 2018 in British Columbia, but not one that I have written in much.

A small card was placed in one of the pages that I had used as a bookmark. On the back of the card, at the bottom, I had written: TIME TO RISE UP. I do not remember writing on the card. Flipping it over, I saw it was a card someone had given my son when he took his then-six-year-old son to a Christmas parade, almost three years ago.

The front of the card stated: The BEST Christmas Gift you can ever have! Of course, it was about the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. The pages it was stuck in were clear, but some verses were circled. They were NOT dated, so I dated them today: Sunday, September 6, 2026

It was no coincidence that I had read about Amos, the shepherd and gardener. I had recently seen videos posted on YouTube by so-called ‘prophets’ (female), and it grieves my spirit. I understood why the Lord had me pick out the Bible I selected from my collection. He led me as only He can do.

Prayerfully, and waiting upon the Holy Spirit. I was led to Jeremiah. The pages had nothing written, but verses had been circled at some point in time.

The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says, Do not let the prophets and mediums who are there in Babylon trick you. Do not listen to their dreams because they prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, says the Lord.

The truth is that you will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again. For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster (evil), to give you a future and a hope. In those days, when you pray, I will listen. [Jer 29:8-10]

Being seventy-one and a late bloomer, meaning I did not commit to the Lord in my youth but was a wretched sinner who believed all my life (since the Catholic orphanage), yet only committed in 2005, the above verses got my attention.

Everyone always says the Lord has a plan for your life. Yes, He does. His plan and desire are that all should repent, come to Him through His beloved Son Jesus, who bled and died for us, and was resurrected, so we could be forgiven and reconciled to the Father.

He is warning us – not to listen to the false prophets, the diviners (mediums) and false teachers, who deceive. They prophesy lies in the Lord’s name. From the verses, we can see that His hand is upon us (for a future and a hope). When we pray, He states He will listen. And if we look for Him in earnest, we will find Him; when we seek Him, we will find Him. (vs 12-13)

Those who tell you something horrible is coming and speak of Trump and the Middle East are getting people worked up because Trump and Iran have been locking horns for a very long time. Right now, Iran is extremely upset over the civilians killed at a wedding, and other strikes that have been taking out civilians, not military.

So very serious threats are being made right now. Jesus warned us in Matthew 24. We are in the beginning of sorrows; nations have risen against each other. Yes, it is happening just as it is written, but do not fear. All we can do is pray, but please do not give in to fearmongering, dear saint – do not surrender to fear.

As a Christian, I urge you to spend time with Jesus: He will soothe your fear with His love. Joy will come when praise is your garment. Peace will come when you lean on Him for strength. He is asking people to come to Him and not mankind. Turn to God and read the Word to strengthen your spirit man.

Please do not misunderstand. Everyone has fear when bombs are going off all around, not knowing where the next one will land. It is not easy. Fear can cripple us, but I am saying if we know that God loves us, the fear will dissipate for us as it did for Stephen as he was being stoned. Fear fled when he looked up and saw in the spiritual realm.

He saw Jesus at the right hand of Almighty God, His Father. Hearing that infuriated the people even more. They were "cut to the heart".

But he (Stephen), being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,

And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord. [Acts 7:55-57]

Fear is instinctive (survival instinct); however, there is also a spirit of fear. But God gave us power, love and a sound mind.[2Tim 1:7] Perfect love (agape love-God's) casts out fear, for fear has torment.  [1Jn 4:18] If we have the kind of fear that paralyzes us, it is because we are not made perfect in love - we doubt His love or do not fully receive it.

We all have fear when our lives are in danger, but I am speaking of the kind of fear that does not trust that no matter which way it turns out, like Stephen, we will rest [spiritually] in Christ Jesus.

God’s Word Speaks

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” [1Sam 16:7] NLT

We have been told repeatedly not to judge by outward appearances because things are not always as they appear to be – not always as they seem. That is not always easy. It is not to promote New Age, New Thought, or prosperity gospel doctrines as truth – no, not at all.

There IS power in the blood (of Jesus/Yeshua), the cross (Christ lifted high before all), the resurrection (raised by the precious Spirit of God), and the Word (Jesus IS the Word who came in the flesh).

This article contains many “notes”, but that is because when praying for the Lord to lead, this article was the result of putting the writings on many scrap pieces of paper together. To God alone be all glory, through His beloved Son, Jesus the Messiah/Christ.

I am not a “Sacred Namer” (a cult); however, I admit that I love names. I find them intriguing, and I like to know if there is a meaning to a name, or if it is known why parents chose the name. And secondly, it is my hope that by using the various names of God, people who are under delusion or false doctrine will be delivered, know the truth and be set free.

Also, in the last article I had written that I “sensed” that the Antichrist of all antichrists is alive today and walking amongst us. Please understand…there are multitudes that sense that. So, I was not implying that I have some ‘special revelation’ or knowledge. I do not.

Canadian PM Mark Carney
embraces WEF (World Economic Forum)
and NWO (New World Order - Great Reset)

The increase in evil, violence, and chaos is one indicator, but the “push” for the 2030 agenda, and even Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney boldly stating at the WEF (World Economic Forum) that there is a ‘shift’ in global economics and politics. He stated, “The traditional rules-based global order led by the United States is changing.” (10-minute video-Carney explains)

Not getting into politics, but I wanted to clarify a statement. I am sensing what many Christians are sensing, which is that the lawless one is alive and well, awaiting his revealing.

Judgment Has Begun

Behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore fortunes to Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat.

And I will enter into the judgments with them there on behalf of My people and My heritage, Israel, for they have scattered them among the nations and divided My land.

Woe to those who divide up the land and cast lots for My people, and who have traded a boy for a prostitute and a girl for wine, and have drunk it. [Joel 3:1-3] ESV (English Standard Version)

Proclaim this among the nations: consecrate for war; stir up the mighty men. Let all the men of war draw near and let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, “I am strong.” (I am a warrior)

Hasten and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves there. Bring down your warriors, O Lord; let the nations stir themselves and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, for there I will set to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.

El Shaddai, Yahweh of Israel, the only true living God, is moving across the land. Exalt Jesus, not mere man (not some person).

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Now My eyes will be open, and My ear attentive to prayer that is made in this place. For now I have chosen and consecrated this house, that My name will be there forever. My eyes and My heart will be all the time [2Chron 7:14-15]

I am moving across this continent, moving across this globe. Do not forget the brethren embracing their Saviour (My Son), Jesus/Yeshua, whilst under heavy persecution. It shall come to this land too, and already it has begun. (The Lord speaks of persecution.)

These are the days of Joel 2 and Acts 2 (God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh).

Yet, even now, return to Me with all your heart, declares the Lord, with fasting, with weeping, with mourning, and rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness, and He relents of evil (over disaster).  [Joel 2:12-13]

Return to the Lord. The Lord judges the nations.

Go in; tread, for the winepress is full; the vats overflow. For their evil is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision, for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

The sun and the moon darkened, and the stars withdrew their shining. (This is a time when nature itself bows under the Sovereign and Providential hand of God. Yet will the sun and moon not be darkened in a time of war? Will the stars hide under the cloud of explosions?)

The Lord roars from Zion and utters His voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth quake. But the Lord is a refuge to His people, a stronghold to the people of Israel. So you shall know that I am the Lord your God who dwells in Zion, My holy mountain.

Now is the time to choose. Now is the time to stand strong. Those who compromise and excuse sin or justify it by saying that times and people change are no different than those who sit on the fence. In hard times, they will go to whatever side looks strong enough to win. They are turncoats.

Sin is sin. Compromise is compromise. I have poured out My love across the world, and still there are those who complain and hate. They want grace that is blind, and mercy that is conditional or shows favouritism.

Trump and Nebuchadnezzar
self-love

It is one thing to honour a person and another to deify them or make them an idol. It is My Spirit that is moving across the land – suddenly it comes. Yet, it should not be unexpected, for it is recorded in Joel and Peter in their second chapters.

My people need to be praying and discerning, not moved by emotionalism. Emotions run high when loyalty runs strong. Now people want to give the ultimate honour. They look to a woman to take a political stand in 2028. Will she be a humanoid or a transhuman? (This is what people ask secretly within.)

Are there no men to take the stand to honour the King of kings and Lord of lords, and bring their nation to their knees to honour My Son? Will other nations rise up to honour My Son, or will all wait anxiously to bring in and honour the Antichrist, the grand deceiver?

Have you ever considered who will stand as the False Prophet for the lawless one, the Antichrist of all antichrists? This is a day and age where the lines of gender are not just blurred; they have been removed.

Deborah-prophetess and judge
Barak-Israel ruler and military commander

Deborah led at a time when the man chosen to lead would not do so unless she accompanied him. She forewarned him that if he chose to go that way, the honour would be handed to a woman, and not him (the man who refused to lead).

Esther rose at a time when no one else was in a position to save the Jewish nation. I was in control of all these things. Now people will be following a woman and a movement in order to honour a man and exalt youth. This is the Alpha generation. The “powers that be” plan to be the top dog; therefore, Generation Beta began this year, 2026-2039.

-====================

Breakdown of Recent Generations

In the Greek alphabet, alpha is the first letter (omega is the last – first and last). Alpha is an overarching (general) term that means the ‘first’, ‘dominant’, or ‘primary’.  Generation Alpha refers to children born between 2010 and 2025: a 15-year framework.

Mark McCrindle, an Aussie social researcher, coined the term. It represents the first cohort born entirely in the 21st century and succeeds Generation Z. They grew up becoming inseparable from their tablets and streaming music, movies, and endless games. Live streaming has become a passion for multitudes.

Generation Beta begins in 2026, marking a demographic raised from infancy in a world dominated by advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence), automated technologies, and digital education. Their societal focus will be on green energy, climate adaptation, and sustainable tech. (This info came from Google AI)

-======================================

Generation Alpha has been the leading demographic, but it has now passed the baton to the 2026 cohort. Alpha was crushed, being a wave of contemporaries who witnessed the exposure of lies in a “time of revealing” (an era of revelation). It brought confusion, anger, and bitterness to many.

This has been the proverbial slow dripping of water upon a rock, and the rock became worn down. It became less than what it was and what it was meant to be. It has been a long and slow wearing down.

And one rose up to say, “Enough! Repent and return to the true Rock, He who never wears down. He who never fails.” The need for a hero has been around for decades, even centuries. The need to be loved, the need to be accepted, has always existed. Look at Leah, who was broken-hearted that Jacob still preferred Rachel over her.

There has always been a need for signs and miracles, a need for a superpower capable of the supernatural. Enter transhumanism; enter humanoids.

Comparing today’s well-known people to biblical heroes, and calling them by their names as a means to ‘honour’ them is a form of idolatry, putting them up on a pedestal that they did not build, or placing a title upon them that they did not earn.

Putting celebrities on the level of a deity, and giving them credit that belongs only to the Creator or God Almighty, is idolatry. Yet we say we do not bow down and worship idols.

Jesus is the [real] hero who came to save the world. He poured out His blood sacrificially to atone for the sins of mankind and offer forgiveness. Persecution comes, for the clash of the kingdoms has intensified. Violence will be unleashed more, and there will be a ripping apart as the divide becomes wider. The Great Tribulation is almost here.  Choose this day whom you will serve.

Fear not.

For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. [Rom 8:15]

Think upon Me when emotions begin to intensify or threaten to get out of control. My Spirit has the fruit of self-control. Be filled with My Spirit. I have raised up many for this time, and for that which is fast approaching. Do you hear the hooves of the approaching horses? I will bring a cloud of witnesses with me.

Watch and see how things turn around for you. Right now, you see things as all backed up or stagnant (perhaps as dead, or over).  Fear not; you will walk unashamed. Speak forth the words I put in your mouth. Some [words] will not be comfortable to say; they will be hard (difficult) to deliver.

Apostle John-Patmos exile

(NOTE: The Holy Spirit brought to remembrance the ancient prophets; few were believed, most were hated, most were killed. All the apostles except John were disbelieved, hated and killed. Jesus, the living Word, only spoke truth because He IS truth, and the way, and life.

You, me, all of us are responsible for His death because all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. Jesus came to pay the price with His very life, pouring out His blood upon a rugged old tree (cross) – BP End note)

Wait upon Me, for I shall give you words to speak.

For it is not you that [will] speak, but the Spirit of your Father which [will] speak in you. [Mat 10:20]

I am not in a hurry. Some of the things I ask of you will be hard, but I ask you to do the things I ask. Do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Me. Remember, hate in the heart is akin to murder.

Whoever hates his brother [in his heart] is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. [1Jn 3:15]

It is just as destructive. Forgiveness heals. Remember where I brought you from, and from where you were delivered.

Indeed, a storm is brewing. The enemy plans to heap fire (attack) the nations. They are hastening their plans to strike (destroy) Israel, but I get the final say. Judgment has begun, but I am the Sovereign judge who rules.

There is a calm before the storm. Stand guard. Your adversary, the devil, walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Behold, I shall lead you in what to say – stand your ground – stand ready.

Do not fear! I am close to those who wait upon Me and draw near. My glory shall envelope you, and My Spirit shall fill you more; I shall cover you.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit [Eph 5:18]

(NOTE: Some research was done because I wanted to be sure about a teaching I heard long ago, which was that believers can be filled with the Holy Spirit more than once. Many have denied that teaching, saying ‘once is enough’.

However, in the original language (Koine Greek), a present tense verb was used in the above verse of scripture. It means it is an ongoing, repeated action rather than a one-time event. It helps us to understand the parable of the 10 virgins more clearly, and how the wise virgins made sure the oil was replaced in their lamps when it got low, so that there would be plenty when the bridegroom came at midnight.

five wise-five foolish virgins

The foolish ones took it for granted that one filling of oil in their lamps was enough, yet when it was announced that the bridegroom was approaching, they soon discovered there was not enough oil in the lamp because he chose to come in the darkness (midnight hour). By the time they got a fresh infilling of oil, it was too late; the bridegroom took the wise ones that were ready, and the door was shut behind them. It was too late for the foolish.

We must stay in prayer and in the Word, abiding, so that we are filled afresh with the precious Holy Spirit. Remember, Jesus breathed on the apostles once, and they were filled with the Spirit of God. [Jn 20:22] Then, the same apostles were present at Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit filled all those present, touching each with tongues of fire simultaneously, and they all began speaking in tongues (other languages) – BP End note)

Great shall be your peace as you trust and abide in Me. I know it is hard when turbulence and violence shatter the calm. Some trust in chariots and horses, swords and bows (military transports and weaponry), but El Shaddai is the Sovereign living God. [Ps 20:7]

(NOTE: But those who are God’s remember His name, meaning we trust in Him more than the above. Not to be misunderstood. David, Gideon, Abraham – all of these men of God were also warriors of God, but they trusted Him more than advanced military weaponry or massive cavalry forces. Adonai is the great Protector. Think upon the story of Deborah and Barak, in the book of Judges, chapters four and fiveBP End note)

Some trust in certain people, running from person to person in the Christian circuit, so they can choose the prophetic word that best suits them [tickles their ears]. Others allow fear to paralyze them because they doubt My love. Lo, but My people shall be confident (not to be mistaken for pride).

My Son, Jesus, was confident, but did not walk in pride. He walked and shone in true humility.

It is only instinct to fear when war is upon the homeland, or when the land shakes beyond man’s control, or when roaring winds and turbulent waters threaten. Show Me one person standing calmly, smiling and saying, “I trust the Lord”, when an earthquake rips apart the building beside where they are standing, or the land opens right in front of them, or a bomb falls near them at close range.

Smiles disappear; instincts kick in, as does survival mode. Some do begin praying as they run, but they do not smile and sing praises. Many pray with faith; I hear them. I am still the God who delivers, still the God of miracles.

Whether I sweep you away as I did Enoch and Elijah, or transport you instantly as I did Philip, or whether I grant you the peace My servant Stephen felt when he looked up and saw My Son at My right hand – trust My way with you. Judgment shall fall upon the lands. It is time. Pause and wait upon Me.

(NOTE: We already know this because we have seen the judgment begin in God’s own house, just as He foretold us.

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? [1Pet 4:17] - BP End note)

Few have known more sublime truth than Balaam [Micah 6:5], but he loved the wages of unrighteousness; and this eclipsed the divine radiance that became overcast and finally overwhelmed. [quote of F.B. Meyer, English Baptist clergyman [1847-1929] 82 years old]

Also, be assured that much of what is going on in the headlines is a distraction, for what is going on behind closed doors and within secret meetings is not published. Indeed, you must be aware of all that is going on in the world, within your own countries, within your own neighbourhoods, and within your own households. Be wise as serpents, and as harmless as doves, for you are among wolves [in the nation(s)].

There are enemies in the camp

Trojan horse

(NOTE: This was written on a scrap piece of paper in my desk, along with countless other pieces of paper (it is yet another one of my quirky habits to write random things down on pieces of paper, if I do not put it in one of my journals. (“There are enemies in the camp”: it was first told me by the Lord via His word, bringing Joshua’s camp and traitor to remembranceApril 11, 2013: Walk Humbly with Me) )

I would like to invite the reader to check out the message from the Lord at the link if you are so led. It is a perfect example of the Lord doing what He states in: Thirteen (13) years later – I am amazed! (For God speaks once, yea twice, yet man perceives it not. [Job 33:14] – BP End note)

There are no obscurities in your way. (obscurities: nothing hidden, confusing, or blocking your path or understanding) Now you will speak the truth clearly, for there are no obscurities in your way. Keep bringing me all your concerns and petitions. You came under strong delusion 41 years ago because you would not receive the truth, but rather chased after a lie (an idol).

(NOTE: The Lord speaks of the time He came to me in an open vision. I was beaten beyond recognition by my then-boyfriend. I was so badly hurt that he literally fled the province, knowing he would be immediately arrested if I reported the beating to the police. I did not – I should have, but I was so messed up; I did not.

When the Lord came to me, He let me know that this “boyfriend” was not to be my husband. I said, “O Lord, no”. That was rebellion; I lacked the fear of the Lord. I refused the truth, believed a lie, and fell into not only rebellion, but idolatry - BP End note.)

Remember, I am for you and not against. Do not look around in terror and dismay. I forewarn My people. I always have, as they abide in Me; I reveal that which is to come. Wait upon Me; trust My timing. Hold fast to your faith. Stay strong in Me.

Remember your warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore, I urge you to keep in the full armour that I provided, that you may be able to withstand in the devil's day, and having done all, to stand [Eph 6:12, 13]

What must be will be.

I lead one day at a time, one step at a time. My glory is about to fall upon the Body of Christ.

(NOTE: I understand that He does not mean false prophets or false apostles, or false teachers, or those who hide behind the large shield of religion. Yet in God’s eyes, it does not cover them. They covet fame, admiration, prosperity, and popularity (a following).

They want the glory, but try to say it is all for God; only He sees the heart. They say this so that you will not question them or feel guilty if you do. They twist the truth, but the Lord will reveal it. It will hurt, but the precious Lord will forgive the broken and contrite heart, then heal and restoreBP End note)

Healing and restoration are about to occur throughout the Body. Indeed, it has begun. Rebuke fear and unbelief. Fear not. Look up, for your redemption draws near.

Whether it be good or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the Lord our God, to whom we send you, that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the Lord our God.

Be not afraid of the King of Babylon, of whom you are afraid. Be not afraid of him, says the Lord: for I AM with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand [Jer 42:11] April 1, 2026

From Nov 7, 2012

Now it begins. Now – there is a great divide amongst the people, and anger and rebellion are stirred up as a troubled hornet’s nest.

The West shall be in great pain; they will be greatly hurt. The backbone of America is broken; it is severely fractured. The days of great woes and great sorrow are coming, but also great blessing that many have patiently waited for.

[5 months later]

Apr 9, 2013:

The Lord said, The strategies and tactics of those who follow Satan (Lucifer) have been employed for a long time. The desire for a one-world government and ruler did not expire when the building of the tower of Babel ended, or with the death of Nimrod.

The plans have been carried out covertly. The adversary is patient to a degree now that he knows his time is shorter. All has escalated; although some things are still happening covertly, there is less concern about hiding things.

Time is short for Satan, unholy angels (demons)
and all enemies of the cross

Satan (Lucifer) and demons are proud and have lifted themselves brazenly. They have been called forth by evil people through rituals, ‘prayer’ (witchcraft), and blood sacrifices. This is a multi-layered, multi-dimensional, multi-faceted structure that is being carried out by those on the dark side, both in the physical and in the spiritual.

(NOTE: I understood the Lord to mean ‘unholy’ prayers, counterfeit prayers. I understood multi-layered to mean from the average person (young to old) to oligarchs. There are evil entities in all physical levels (media, arts, education, politics, judicial, social (family, friends, work), business, military, religion).

I understand multi-dimensional to cover everything from AI to physical to spiritual realms [3D printing, holograms, drones, teleports, remote viewing, occult] – BP End note)

No greater love (Jesus upon the cross)

Indeed - no greater love
Jesus the Messiah

The days are grossly dark and steadily growing darker. All My people who are abiding and cleaving to Me see this. This is true, yet the darkness and evil are becoming so overbearing that even those far from Me are noticing.

The above was written in April 2013, 9 years ago – September 2026

Do not walk in fear and unbelief. Walk by faith, not by sight. Once before I told you, and I bring it to you again as a gentle reminder:

Turn from any thought, word or deed that comes from the flesh and not from the Spirit. I am with you, and will help you. Get it deep down in your soul, your very Spirit: I AM for you and not against you. Do not listen to the flesh or Satan (or any enemy of the cross) who will plant seeds of doubt. When you are unsure (have doubts), come to Me, and I will answer you.

When you hear the answer, the truth of it will resonate in your spirit, and your confidence will return, and faith will become stronger.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the WORD of God. [Rom 10:17]

And without faith, it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He IS a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. [Heb 11:6]

One Act of Obedience

(NOTE: Update Added August 26/26:

I overlooked the part about the "tapestry" in my notes. The story has been added under 'Obedience - A Fruit of Love'. Also, three pictures have been added - BP)

ONE Act of Obedience

Around 2005, in a night vision (I dare not call it a dream since I was not asleep, but merely resting with closed eyes), I saw the word OBEDIENCE. The capital letters highlighted the importance of the word. And the warm, glimmering gold emphasized the purity and holiness in the act of obedience.

As I gazed upon the word in my spirit, Christ Jesus immediately came to mind. Because of the precious Holy Spirit, I was very aware of Messiah’s presence. The sense of great peace enveloped me. I wondered what the Lord was trying to show me.

My peace shattered abruptly as I witnessed a darkness moving downward from the top of the letters of ‘OBEDIENCE’. There was a wrestling with the fear of the unknown. What was that darkness? Jesus is the light of this world. [Jn 8:12]

It was all happening very quickly, and soon the entire word ‘obedience’ was covered in the dark fluid. Before confusion could consume me, a scripture came to mind. I could not recall it verbatim, but it had to do with Jesus stating that He is the light of the world, and when we follow Him, we will not walk in darkness, but have light (life). [Jn 8:12]

It all happened faster than I can even type. It was an open vision, so it was like watching a short movie. No sooner had the scripture come to mind than everything brightened, as a light revealed what the ‘darkness’ was that covered the word ‘obedience’ in its entirety.

BLOOD! Immediately, I understood that the precious blood was that of “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”. [Rev 13:8] Indeed, the precious blood of Jesus/Yeshua the Christ.

The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. [Jn 1:29]

Once seen and understood, fear fled.

The obedience of Christ Jesus was completely soaked (drenched) in the precious blood of the Lamb that was poured out for us when the Messiah was upon the cross. [Phil 2:8]

And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Obedience was a fruit [one of the fruits] of His love for His Father [Jn 14:31] and for us (humankind), as He willingly sacrificed His life, spilling His precious blood to redeem us from the penalty of death (the wages of sin is death) [Rom 6:23] and to break the power of sin.

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. [Rom 5:19]

And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: [Lk 24:46]

One act of obedience brings forth the greatest miracle of all – salvation!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ [Yeshua Mashiach], which according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. [1Pet 1:3]

Obedience – A Fruit of Love

Right now, it is very important to practice obedience. Many of God’s people are being tested right now, and obedience will be part of that testing. Could our suffering be to bring up the dross? To challenge our faith? To test our heart?

Think upon it. We are in the beginning of sorrows…this is the time to do all the Lord asks.

If He instructs you to fast, prayerfully ask how long and what kind of fast – please be sure it is the Lord’s direction, especially if you are elderly or have limitations due to any physical reasons, such as diabetes or some other limitation. The Lord will lead you properly and according to your situation. There may be something else He requires of you instead.

Perhaps He has moved on you to pray earnestly. He gives instructions. Stay in the Word, pray.

This was to be posted by last Sunday [three days ago, the 23rd Aug], but it has been a great difficulty due to interruptions and distractions. Yet, all things are in God’s timing. Nothing takes Him by surprise... us, yes, the Lord - no.

For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are the called, according to His purpose. [Rom 8:28]

As often stated with this verse, it is not suggested that everything that happens is good, but rather Almighty God [El Shaddai], in His wisdom, works everything together to bring forth the good that He has purposed.

It is like the metaphor of the tapestry, which comes from a poem written by Grant Colfax Tullar [1869-1950] (an American hymn writer), but made famous/popular by Corrie Ten Boom.

Tullar wrote the poem after a dark season of despair, hopelessness, and discouragement. Corrie Ten Boom had many speaking engagements as a survivor of the Holocaust, a survivor of Ravensbruck Nazi concentration camp.

She used to carry the poem on a piece of paper, along with a piece of embroidery with knotted, messy threads on one side and a lovely golden crown on the upside. She would read the poem and then demonstrate the meaning with the piece of embroidered material she carried with her.

She explained the knotted side represented our perspective of life, which can be confusing, tangled, chaotic and random. The flip side represented God's master plan and the crown of eternal life.

Tullar had originally named the poem "The Weaver". Corrie Ten Boom simply renamed it "Life is But a Weaving" (The Tapestry Poem). Her famous quote was: "Although the threads of my life have often seemed knotted, I know, by faith, that on the other side of the embroidery is a crown."

Although Grant Tullar wrote the poem, it is famously, howbeit erroneously, credited to Corrie Ten Boom.

My life is but a weaving
Between my God and me.
I cannot choose the colors -
He weaveth steadily.

Oft' times He weaveth sorrow;
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper
And I the underside.

Now 'til the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Will God unroll the canvas
And reveal the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful
In the weaver's skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

He knows, He loves, He cares;
Nothing this truth can dim
He gives the very best to those
Who leave the choice to Him.

Does Your Character Pass the Litmus Test?

About four months ago, I mentioned that hearts are being tested (tried) right now. If someone questioned that God would not do such a thing, I will repost the scripture that I used then.

Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested Joseph’s character. [Ps 105:19] NLT (New Living Translation)

Today, during prayer this morning, before I opened the Bible, I mentioned a few things to the Lord. Then I asked Him to lead me to what He wanted me to know. Again, I was led to [Psalm 105:19]

I trust the Lord when we pray sincerely to Him, humbling ourselves the best way we know how, and then trusting Jesus to lead us by His Spirit and answer our prayer request.

We pray with thanksgiving. That is another lesson that has kept coming before my eyes, either in Scripture or in some of my writings from days gone by. The testing has not been easy at times. In fact, there are times I have broken down into tears. Pain has a way of wearing us down.

There is no desire in my heart to complain, but I do tell the Lord that I am at my wit’s end. Year after year rolls by. I listen to what is happening with brethren. So many are suffering in different ways.

Situations are arising that test the character, integrity, sincerity, and genuineness of each individual. It has always been said that a person’s true character is proven in times of adversity. I have seen people who are thought to be so macho, so brave, yet cower instead of protecting a woman or child when startled by a sudden loud noise at night, out in the country.

I have seen so-called ‘good men’ kick a helpless puppy for not ‘behaving’ right when no one could see them except ‘family’. Yet to their friends and business associates, they are the epitome of ‘charm’.

smiling charmer hides the truth

The same charming person can be someone we would never suspect. They could turn out to be a thief, a liar, an adulterer, a murderer or a humanoid. How often has someone been found guilty of something, and people could not believe it? It seemed completely out of character. That is how charming someone can present themselves – a most convincing mask.

Yet, I have seen a person who was always mocked and ridiculed as being a ‘wimp’ due to their quiet or laid-back nature, turn out to be a real trooper in times of need. God knows exactly what kind of litmus test will prove the character of each individual.

Many of us have been going through one situation after another. Has it felt like everything is a battle, and everyone is at odds with you? I went through a time like that recently. Many times, I would end up in tears, wondering why the onslaught would not stop.

More times than I can count, asking Jesus for help, I searched my heart to see what I could be doing wrong to bring all of it upon myself. It seems that there is this unspoken expectation that Christians are never supposed to be depressed, or get angry, or be stressed, or have negative days. Just smile the perpetual Joel Osteen smile and give thanks to God…

“I failed You, Lord…” I often found myself lamenting, but the Holy Spirit corrected me, especially when a wave of melancholy swept over the flesh, or I spoke forth the devil’s lies. The expectation to be positive and unmoved by even stressful and/or pressing situations is both exhausting and unrealistic. Even those who disagree with the false doctrines of the prosperity gospel can be affected by some teacher’s influence, without realizing it.

The Leftover Sting of the False Prosperity Doctrine

Many believers are stuck in the rut that faith heals everything and that it quietly subdues all kinds of suffering, whether physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual pain, financial distress, marital problems, or wayward children. If not, then it must be the result of some hidden sin.

I remember being told that people who held bitterness inside suffered from arthritis, or that if anyone had cancer it was due to unforgiveness, and on and on and on it went. This is not true. Not only is it harmful, but it is unbiblical. It is the “hidden sin” mentality.

One time the disciples of Jesus asked him if a certain man was blind because of his parents’ sin or his own sin, to which Jesus responded with an adamant no. He stated that the condition was not caused by sin but that God’s love, power and work would be manifested through his healing, which would ultimately glorify God [Yahweh]. [Jn 9:2-3]

This has been something I have written about many times over the years because the first church I chose to attend after the orphanage happened to be a Word of Faith, prosperity-preaching church.

I was twenty-five years old and needed a job. An apartment building a few blocks from me was looking for a manager. I went in to apply for the job. The duties were simple enough. I would be responsible for cleaning all the apartments before and after occupancy, cleaning halls, lobby, and the laundry and mail rooms. I was to collect rent, deposit monies, and screen potential renters. The then-manager assured me that I practically had the job, but I would have to meet with the building owner after the weekend to make it official.

Going by the prosperity teaching that I had heard over the couple of months at the church, I gave notice to the manager at the apartment I had. The new job provided a furnished one-bedroom apartment and a small salary each month.

I named-it-and-claimed-it (claimed the job and apartment as done in the spiritual; it will manifest in the natural). That is the teaching in a nutshell. I would have gotten the job too, but I had no husband. The job required a couple. The man would be responsible for maintenance for the building, something I could not do.

Desperately, I went back to the manager of the apartment where I had given notice, but sadly, he had already rented the place out. A woman at the church allowed me to stay at her place (on the couch) in exchange for light housework and babysitting her two school-aged boys.

That was my hard lesson with the “name-it-and-claim-it” prosperity doctrine. It was a rude and harsh awakening, but the Lord allowed me to find out very quickly after I had started at the church. I only went a few more times before I left it. Something happened that caused me to leave the church for the next 13 years, but I have spoken of that in past articles – not for now.

I have to admit that despite knowing that the doctrine is false and unrealistic, there have been times that the teaching has affected me, and I did not immediately recognize it. The Lord is truly so faithful. That is not just a Christian cliché; it is a beautiful reality.

If you have been going through interruptions, distractions, and opposition to the point that it has worn you down, be encouraged. You are most likely being tested. I asked the Lord about what was happening. Yet once again, He led me to a Scripture that I posted a couple of months back. It was confirmation of what I sensed, but I was not 100% sure about.

Until the time came to fulfill his dreams, the Lord tested (tried) Joseph’s character. [Ps 105:19]

Worship God Through Jesus

But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. [Jn4:23-24]

This song beats any AI song, although there actually are some good AI songs. Still, I hesitate and will not be promoting them often. Steve McWhirter put out a song that I only recently stumbled upon, but it was actually put out online in 2020.

It is called “Come Jesus Come” – it is our heart’s cry, especially as we see the evil that is flooding this world and knowing, as the Great Tribulation fast approaches, that according to the Word of God, it is only going to get worse. But thank God for Jesus and the Holy Spirit!

May it bless you as much as it does me. To God be the glory.

Come Jesus Come

Sometimes I fall
To my knees and pray
Come Jesus come
Let today be the day

Sometimes I feel
Like I'm gonna break
But I'm holding on
To a hope that won't fade

Come Jesus come

We've been waiting so long
For the day You return
To heal every hurt
And right every wrong

We need You right now
Come and turn this around
Deep down I know
This world isn't home

Come Jesus come
Come Jesus come

There'll be no war
And there'll be no chains
When Jesus comes
Let today be the day

He'll come for the weak
And the strong just the same
And all will believe
In the power of His name

Come Jesus come

We've been waiting so long
For the day You return
To heal every hurt
And right every wrong

We need you right now
Come and turn this around
Deep down I know
This world isn't home

Come Jesus come
Come Jesus come

One day He'll come
And you'll stand face to face
Come and lay it all down
'Cause it might be today

The time is right now
There's no need to wait
Your past will be washed
By rivers of grace

Come Jesus come

We've been waiting so long
...so long
For the day You return
To heal every hurt
And right every wrong

We need you right now
Come and turn this around
Deep down I know
This world isn't home

Come Jesus come
Come Jesus come
Come Jesus come
