Heed the Signs of the Times

Heed the Signs of the Times

Ariel Sharon, hailed by the media and others as the ‘Fierce Defender of a Strong Israel’ died Saturday, January 11, 2014.  He had suffered a stroke and fell into a coma eight years ago, in January 2006.  He had been born to Russian immigrants and became famous for his involvement in the Israeli-Arab struggles.

Considered a strong-willed military leader and an aggressive political leader, Sharon left behind a legacy as the controversial man who fought in many of Israel’s major wars and had spearheaded the Jewish settlement of Palestinian territories.  He had been dubbed ‘the Bulldozer’, due to his iron will and push to protect Israel and carry out tough decisions he made.

Prophecy Regarding Ariel Sharon’s Death and the Coming Messiah

Back in 2007, many articles were published regarding the revealing of the name of the ‘Messiah’ that Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri had requested to be unsealed one year after his death.  Rabbi Kaduri had passed away in February 2006 at an estimated age of 108 (reports vary on age).

He was a Kabbalist who had been born in Baghdad, but his fame became global at his issuance of ‘apocalyptic warnings’, as well as declaring publicly that he had met the Jewish Messiah in the month of November 2003.  He had also correctly prophesied regarding the Indonesian tsunami in 2004 two weeks before it occurred, stating that a cataclysmic event would occur “with the rising of the sea in the East”.

The name of the Messiah was scribbled in a note and sealed until a year after his death had been fulfilled.  “Yehoshua” or “Yeshua” (the Hebrew name of Jesus) was the name Rabbi Kaduri had written.  Evangelicals and Kabbalists locked horns in forums globally as a result of the revealing of the name.

Going by the Biblical account of the true Messiah’s return, many Christians believed the ‘Messiah’ that the rabbi spoke of was none other than the Antichrist.  His 80 year old son, Rabbi David Kaduri insisted that the note was not his father’s writing, thereby suggesting that the note was a forgery.

Below is an excerpt from a 2007 news article, found on World News Daily:

Also in September 2005, Kaduri said: “The Messiah is already in Israel. Whatever people are sure will not happen is liable to happen, and whatever we are certain will happen may disappoint us. But in the end, there will be peace throughout the world.”

As a lifelong student and teacher of Kabbalah, Kaduri rejected a meeting requested by pop superstar Madonna, who dabbled in the ancient art of Jewish mysticism. He reportedly said at the time: “It is forbidden to teach a non-Jew Kabbalah, not even Talmud, not even simple Torah.”

Kaduri is said to have been one of the few known living practitioners who used his knowledge of Kabbalah to affect change in the world. He would often distribute amulets intended to heal, enhance fertility and bring success. He was also believed to have been involved in the removal of 20 dybbuks, or lost souls that strayed into the hapless bodies of living people to torment them.

Aviel Schneider, the author of the Israel Today story, said the worldwide reaction to news of Kaduri’s note has been “crazy.” He said he has never received so many emails and calls from around the globe.

He said he was urged not to publish the story by the rabbi’s yeshiva, where officials said it was “impossible” that the note was actually written by Kaduri.

But Schneider was given access to many of the rabbi’s manuscripts, written in his own hand for the exclusive use of his students. He was struck by symbols painted by Kaduri all over the pages.

“They were crosses,” said Schneider. “In the Jewish tradition, you don’t use crosses. You don’t even use plus signs because they might be mistaken for crosses. But there they were, painted in his own hand.”

Asked what those symbols meant, Kaduri’s family said they were “signs of the angel.”

It was on the Day of Atonement (2005) that Rabbi Kaduri claimed to have a vision where he met the ‘Messiah’.  He also revealed that the Messiah would not come until Ariel Sharon, the former Israeli Prime Minister died.

Linking Ariel Sharon’s Death with Rabbi Yitzchak Kaduri’s Prophecy

It is possible that the Lord Jesus (Y’shua) may have appeared to Rabbi Kaduri and revealed the name of the true Messiah Y’shua, known as Jesus the Christ in English.  God can do all things.  Yet, I cannot help but to issue a warning that true disciples of Christ be very careful about dates or timing on His return.

Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri was a Kabbalist rabbi.  Anyone who truly receives the Messiah of the Bible as Lord and Savior, and in particular a rabbi who had followed the darkness found in the Kabbalah, would publicly state so, despite any risks or backlash.  Yet this rabbi did not want any mention of such a thing (or HINT of changed faith) until one year after his death.

He also spoke of rebuilding the temple, which is not something the true Messiah would encourage, as we are the living stones; we are the temple of the Most High God.  We all are groaning within for the return of the true Messiah, but did this rabbi meet the true Messiah?  I hope so, but his secrecy about his faith, as well as the desire to rebuild the temple bring up a ‘red flag’.

Why would he not desire to speak to others who were deceived by the writings and practices of the Kabbalah and thus counsel them to turn to the true Messiah of the Torah?  This makes me ponder deeply.  Obviously, the Lord can choose whomsoever He desires to reveal truths – absolutely He can and it would be both stunning and marvelous if the rabbi truly did convert before his death.

The secret note contained a Hebrew sentence:

Yarim Ha’Am Veyokhiakh Shedvaro Vetorato Omdim.”
Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name,He will lift the people and prove that his word and law are valid.
“This is I have signed in the month of mercy, Messiahs Name-Yitzhak Kaduri.”
His followers believed the note to be authentic but told Israel Today that they do not know how he got the name of the Messiah.  Although many reports (as posted above) stated that his son, Rabbi David Kaduri claimed the note was a forgery, other reports quote his son as stating that in the last year of his life, his father, Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri repeatedly confirmed that he had dreamt and met the Messiah. “My father has met the Messiah in a vision,” he said, “and told us that he would come soon.”

Rabbi Kaduri was highly esteemed and widely respected by multitudes who received counseling and blessings from him, as well as knew his accurate predictions of several disasters and countless miracles he performed.  Yes, my heart does hope that he truly met the Messiah spoken of in the holy scriptures.

Yet, we are also cautioned:

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
 [Mat 24:4,5]

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth: behold, He is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
[Mat 24:24-31]

After tribulation of those days, Jesus said, then the sun would be darkened, the moon would not give her light and the stars will fall…and then shall appear the Son of man in heaven.

Jesus/Y’shua carefully laid it out for all of us and that is why I urge you that we all proceed with caution and watch for the signs and the order of those signs as given by the true Messiah.  Do I hope and pray that Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri actually met and received the true Messiah as his Lord and Savior?  Absolutely!

I do believe that his prophetic word regarding the death of Ariel Sharon should be considered as a sign of the times we are in, yes – I do.  But I caution how we are warned of the Antichrist who has the ability and will (IF POSSIBLE) deceive even the elect (bold and highlights emphasis by this posts author: see verse Mat 24:24).

To be fair, the following video speaks about the prophecy and compares Rabbi Kaduri to the apostle Paul, on the way to Damascus.  The video was uploaded a little less than 4 years ago, in June 2010.

With Jesus/Y’shua’s words before our eyes in the Holy Scriptures, it is with love I urge caution.  All of us sense the soon-return of the true Messiah.  We sense the urgency in our spirit man, but I do not want to take the words of Christ out of context or order.  I am interested in hearing what others have to say about this.

At the time of this writing, as well as Ariel Sharon’s death being announced only this day, I do not yet have word from the Lord on this matter.

However, it seems to me that the Rabbi's revealing of the name of Yehoshua or Yeshua, with his coming being after the death of Ariel Sharon, I have to remind readers that according to the word of God, the Antichrist (of all antichrists) comes first.  Is Sharon's death a sign of the Antichrist's arrival?  Seems to me that the Islamists (Muslims) are awaiting the return of the Iman.  Dangerous days...

Last year (2013) in August, the CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) made a report:

“President Ahmadinejad seems to think that the time is ripe for the 12th Imam’s reappearance and that, as president, he should play a role in opening the way for his return,” the journal said. “He is reported to have said in one of his cabinet sessions, ‘We have to turn Iran into a modern and divine country to be the model for all nations, and which will also serve as the basis for the return of the 12th Imam.’”
Like Bernard Lewis of Princeton, the Kairos authors said Ahmadinejad seems to believe “that the hand of God is guiding him to trigger a series of cataclysmic events which could precipitate the return of the 12th Imam. Only time will tell if this is his true conviction; but if he does hold such a view, his possession of nuclear weapons is a particularly scary prospect.”

I would urge a cautionary warning to all true believers.  It is written (as posted) that IF it were possible, even the elect would be deceived (I know - I'm repeating myself, but I think I need to).  Pray.  The Lord is also warning us to get right with Him.  We all must seek Him prayerfully and do all that He instructs us to do, myself included – He did give me a very stern warning regarding ‘dying to self’ (the old man) and OBEDIENCE.

Yes, a very stern warning, which I am not to release the fullness of it at this time.  Understand the words ‘stern’ and ‘warning’ – He has been most longsuffering, but His word will go forth and not return void.  The stern warning is yet another display of His agape love, but He will not be mocked.  If we do not heed His warning to lay all down NOW, the consequences of our choice is upon our own heads.  Selah

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever: for wisdom and might are His: And He changes the times and the seasons: He removes kings, and sets up kings: He gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

He reveals the deep and secret things: He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.
[Dan 2:20-22]

  1. I'm taking into account that Jesus stated that, "no man knows the day nor the hour". I find it fascinating that God the Father would reveal such a thing to a man of His return within a particular time period. The Bible specifically states that the Lord's return would be startling to us all, which is why He warns us to be ready at all times. I don't know what the Lord revealed to this man, as I feel that it's really left up to me to try and decide, but I am leery when people reveal things that God has ONLY revealed to them with specifics that somewhat contradict what is written.

  2. Kiianah,
Good points...it would seem to me that Y'shua (Jesus) would definitely warn a Kabbalist about the Antichrist of all antichrists. We have to be so careful.
