Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. [Ps 27:14]
So much happening...so hard to keep up. My life will not cease having interruptions. Text messages, phone calls, suddenly family wants to talk, or knocks on the door, City Council reps and telemarketing.
Then, for two days, oddly...the 29th I had a nasty tickle in my throat, only it did not tickle. By morning, I gargled with salt water. Then promptly, not even five minutes later, I was sick to my stomach with dry heaves. There was a short rest before it continued...the knot in my stomach was undeniable.
As I sat there throwing up into a small bedroom garbage can (sorry for graphics), it came to me about the time of year it was...and how often witches come against Christians.
The scripture that came to me was [Isaiah 54:17] (no weapon formed against you shall prosper...etc.) I did say the entire thing... twice. The third mention of it was simply to thank God for His Word.
"Rest" is the word that was strongly impressed upon my heart.
After a couple of hours sleep, I felt better, but I was not 100%. My voice sounded gravelly, but I was much better. It was just an improvement from there on up.
A couple of days later, a friend wrote to tell me she had been unwell. It was the same day, and ironically, the same scripture had been put upon her heart as well. That was confirmation from the Holy Spirit to me. How I thank God for His faithfulness, and how splendidly He looks after each one of us.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world, you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. [Jn 16:33]
I keep wondering if I am to stop writing, to stop all of it, but even after fasting and prayer, there has been no instruction to quit. In fact, starting a YouTube channel is upon my heart. It would save much time, but there has to be a stop to the delays, whether sickness, visitors, business, or whatever else stops me.
God...and timing.
Those are the two things I wait for...in that order. I have much written, as events unfold, but they are on several different papers, as separate events. Organization is needed, and now so much time has again elapsed. That is why people are doing podcasts, I reckon. things are moving too quickly to sit and write at length...far too quickly.
Hopefully, tomorrow night I can have something.
