More hindrance and delay, as all electricity in the home my son and I rent, went out from Saturday, October 21, 2023 until Sunday, October 22, 2023. The frustrating and annoying part is that it is a simple fix.

It has to do with a shortage on the property and a lackadaisical landlord. It is a simple matter of kicking the breaker back on, but the breaker box is in the apartment in the basement, so I have no access to it if no one is home. They just happened to be away all weekend.

There are things that do not need to be shared at this time. I have prayed for them - they need Jesus, just as we all once did.

It has to be a shortage somewhere as a couple of random outlets quit working at different times in the past year. Enough said on that, but hopefully it will not happen again soon.

My sincere apologies for further interruptions and delays, but thank you for understanding and patience.

Dr. Thomas Horn
1956-2023

Just before the electricity went down, I received news that one of the brethren, Tom Horn had gone to be with the Lord, after suffering a severe heart attack. He was in the hospital approximately 11 days fighting for his life, surrounded by his loving family, if my information is correct.

The last I had heard was that he was in ICU, fighting infection and other complications in his lungs. When I went to check for an update on Saturday, the electricity was off - the day and night passed without power ( ...such are some of life's challenges).

Tom Horn was into end-time prophecy, and like all children of salt and light, awaited the return of Jesus the Christ (Yeshua haMashiach). He was CEO of Skywatch TV, where he, his son Joe Ardis Horn, and his son's wife, Catherine Horn, along with different guests would discuss end-times, eschatology, and other intriguing topics.

He was also co-founder of Whispering Ponies Ranch, a horse camp for abused, sex-trafficked, and neglected children. 

A trackless train, animated mannequins, and a new playground are only some of the adventures offered at the ranch.

It was not until just yesterday that I found out Tom Horn (along with co-authors) wrote about transhumanism. So few want to discuss it, but it is imperative I think, a reality that we cannot ignore. AI is here to stay, and as mentioned a few articles back, Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, are at least three of those 'in the know' that forewarned about technology, particularly AI taking over (superseding) mankind.

This book boldly touches topic few dare speak of, and there are those of us who have tried. One provocative statement that speaks volumes is:

*How nanotechnology existing at this moment will soon allow for human-robot offspring -- and why that might be the very cutting edge of changes as never seen before, just as foretold.

I stand with the Horn family in this time of mixed emotions; sorrow over the loss of seeing Tom's smiling face each day; to the celebration that he made it through life, fighting the good fight, and enduring to the end.

Dr. Horn is resting in Christ Jesus, and will be returning with Jesus / Yeshua and will be one of the ten thousands of ten thousands riding with Him.

There are no adequate words, except thanks to the Horn family for thoughtfully keeping us informed, as difficult as that is. May the Lord be the comfort and strength of the family, loved ones, close family friends and associates, and all who loved this man and his family.
