There is such a loud warning to God's dedicated people, the disciples/followers of Jesus the Messiah, the Nazarene, to keep watchful, prayerful and obedient to the commandments, as Yeshua instructed. The darkness of these days is foreboding; even the secular world, from young to old, sees it.
However, most are choosing to not talk too much about the sinful state the world is in, how love has waxed cold and how hard the hearts of people have become. But rather, the choice is to deny it, by saying "that's life...get over it", or people are embracing the "liberty" that they believe this open rebellion to God allots. Witchcraft and "new age" for the coming "new world" is being promoted.
Also, please keep Israel in prayer. There are brethren there who know the Messiah came once and are awaiting His return just as the rest of us (God's children of obedience) are. The end times in prophecy are centered around Israel and the Middle East, and surrounding nations.
I keep coming across scripture that speaks of Israel appearing to be mostly safe, but then from the north the enemies come against Israel. These are turbulent, unpredictable times, but the worst has not yet happened. things are escalating and moving at incredible speed.
We must share the good news about the cross of Jesus, His death, resurrection and ascension, paving the only way back to the Father (salvation, redemption, atonement) and the way to be forgiven of our sins. We too must carry our own cross daily, dying to self (our fleshly desires and appetites that Satan seeks to tempt us in), and overcoming the flesh step by step, day by day. We can rejoice in the fact that by the spilling of His precious blood, the Lamb of God (Jesus/Yeshua) provided a way back to the one, true Living God.
Hell is a reality, for if it were not, why would Jesus say that the "gates of hell" would not prevail against the church? When His disciples were saying that some thought He was John the Baptist, and some thought He was Elijah, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets, Jesus/Yeshua asked, "But whom do you say that I am?"
Peter answered, "You are the Messiah (Christ), the Son of the living God." Jesus stated to Peter (Simon Barjona) that he was blessed because no man (flesh and blood) revealed that knowledge to him, but His Father in heaven revealed it to Peter.
Messiah then said to Peter that upon this rock (the 'rock' being the fact or revelation that He (Jesus/Yeshua) is the Christ, the Son of the living God), He would build His church and the "gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (would not triumph over or conquer it).
And that He would give us (disciples) the keys of heaven, that whatsoever we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatsoever we loose in earth shall be loosed in heaven. [see Matthew 16:14-19]
for His glory
