Free at Last

free at last -

Out of hospital as of Sunday afternoon - back home.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the POWER may be of GOD, and not of us.

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. [2Cor 4:7-9]

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. [vs 17-18]

A Very Real Battle

It is not easy. It is not for cowards...but as our strength drains out, the Lord is faithful to be our strength. When we are weak, we are strong (IN Christ, our Redeemer/Saviour)
[2Cor 12:9-10]

And when there is no one around to encourage us, do as David and Joshua -- they encouraged themselves in the LORD!

Press On, Saints

Hopefully, I will see readers for a Friday posting. No matter how desperate things look, no matter how painful or challenging, do not give up.

Both Derek Prince and David Wilkerson (beloved preachers/teachers) urged people not to give up right at the end of their horrific and difficult season.

Look at the time we are in. The rapture is closer than ever before. Look at the world situation; search the Word of God. It is all working together just as the living God [El Shaddai] foretold.

The devil is out to take as many followers of Christ [Messiah] Jesus [Yeshua], true saints of God as he can.

Wait patiently! Stay in His will no matter how much the flesh pulls at the reins

... (the Lord has been saying this for years, but now the time is - we are too close to quit

Do not look back and long for times where God/Jesus was not first - but remember how far the Lord has brought you -- much too far to let go now. Hallelujah~

Hold fast to the arm of the living God! You can do this - WITH Christ. The Lord knows what you are capable of better than you. Look at Job - he felt like giving up, not on God - but the pain, the grief, the never-ending battle.

Ah, but the battle will end. For now, we follow the Commander-in-Chief, our trustworthy King - He is the LORD of the battle and we can rest in Him, as we march ever forward - an honour to serve such a majestic King!

Until the next post...

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the POWER of HIS might. [Eph 6:10]

TRUST in God and His power!

TRUST in the Lord with all your heart and lean NOT to your [own] understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. [Prov 3:5,6]

There is much that we will not understand in this walk (and in battles), and ...that is where TRUST comes in. Selah

in the presence of His glory
