He is the wind beneath our wings. With His strength, we go through the eye of the storm. Here is our refuge; resting in Him. In this still time with Him, we are being strengthened for all that is ahead. So it's true, where it's written... Perfect love casts out all fear. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your steps.
If God be for us, who can be against us? Christ in us, the hope of glory ~
It would be easy to beat ourselves up over mistakes we make, little mistakes done without realizing at the time... or big mistakes that we knew were wrong at the time, but chose to do anyways.
Repentance means to change your mind and turn away from the sin. The Lord God is faithful beyond all understanding - faithful to hear and forgive. [2Chron 7:14]
As for the little mistakes, we learn from them. If we do not, we are bound to repeat them. As for the big mistakes, we repent and ask the Father to heal and to make it turn for good rather than evil so that He is glorified, and be sure He will honour such a prayer.
Forgive yourself; forgive others because when we forgive others, we ourselves will be forgiven. Mk 6
Do not give up. Do not give in. Hope against hope and trust the Father as a little child. Receive His forgiveness and believe His love for you.
