Watchman, Sound the Warning

Watchman, Sound the Warning

So you, O son of man, I have set you as a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear the word at My mouth, and warn them from Me.

When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die; if you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity (sin); but his blood will I require at your hand. [Ezek 33:7, 8]

The Lord goes on to say in His Word that if the watchman warns the wicked, but he chooses not to listen or turn from his sins, he will die in his sin, but the watchman will have delivered his soul.

Yet, what is the heart of the Creator? What is His desire?

Say to them, As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn, turn from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel? [vs 11] (emphasis mine)

The Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever. In this particular situation, the Lord was speaking to Israel through His prophet Ezekiel. Nevertheless, the Lord is consistent and steadfast. The Creator does not delight in the death of sinners; He would prefer they change their heart (mind), and turn away from their iniquities.

Speaking through the apostle Peter, Jesus made it clear what the will of God Almighty is. People, even today, think that the Lord tarries (is too slow) in His returning, but in reality, He is patient. Something that most of us lack and must practice often - patience. Not an easy call!

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise (to return), as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering (patient), not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. [2Pet 3:9]

No matter what one has done, including witchcraft or sorcery (occult), Jesus willingly shed His precious blood to pave the way to be forgiven of sins, and reconciled back to the [heavenly] Father.

Christ is the ONLY way back. Yeshua (Jesus) is ready and willing to forgive if one repents and changes their mind, forsaking their sin. If you confess Jesus is Lord, and believe He was resurrected from the dead, you will be saved. [Rom 10:9-11]

The only sin that is unforgiveable is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. [Mat 12:31]

This last section of the series is a watchman's warning about witchcraft and the necessity to cleave to God through Yeshua (Jesus), and overcome the enemy and his legions.

However, the strong undercurrent is the hope that the sinner changes his/her mind and heart, repents, and submits wholly to the Saviour and Redeemer, Jesus.

Spiritual Warfare and Witchcraft

Back in early October, when it was mentioned that the Lord had impressed upon me to alert people with a stern warning regarding ‘witchcraft/sorcery’, I made mention of something else that may need to be done, along with spiritual warfare, IF one was personally instructed by Yeshua/Jesus, through the Holy Spirit [and/or the written Word].

Late September, early October, many, but not all, covens or individuals globally begin early on with rituals, sacrifices, spells, etc. in preparation for one of their highest regarded religious celebrations, Halloween/Samhain. To others, it is more of a tradition, a ritualistic ceremony, and still to others, it is a non-religious festival. Other pagan holidays celebrated these days may also invoke earlier preparation by occult practitioners than in bygone days.

Undoubtedly, no one needs me to announce that times have drastically changed. We are in a time like no other that we know of. Violence, murder, chaos, corruption, deception, rejection of God and Jesus, and an exaltation of evil – certainly none of that is new, as history records crusades, genocides, and other horrific acts of sin and wickedness.

What does differ is the volume (global, nearly every country) and intensity (almost daily, the majority of scenarios extreme). Throw in the increased number of mankind (billions), the acceptance of things once considered abnormal and perverse, the celebrating of evil as good, and good as evil (a gross flip).

What is new is the introduction and the acceleration of AI [Artificial Intelligence] and various technologies (including digital [holograms, 3D printing [even of food such as meat], teleporting] et al), all moving forward at an immeasurable and exponential growth rate (soon to be beyond mankind’s control, if it is not already), and we find ourselves in unknown, foreboding times.

Those who know their Creator do understand the times we are in, and cleave to Him steadfastly, for the Bible has made it clear, and the Holy Spirit warns and guides us of our desperate need for God. Jesus/Yeshua was succinct in describing these days, yet thorough enough for us to recognize that time when we see it, if we discern and not go into denial.

We must not shut our eyes to the reality of the time out of fear and unbelief. We do not have to like it, but we do have to accept that which is written, for the logos Word of God will ‘not’ be changed. Yet, when we ‘trust’ our God, we will not walk in perpetual, unhealthy fear, nor will we fall into the quicksand of unbelief or apostasy.

Open communication and honesty with the Lord are crucial, as it is (or should be) in any close and genuine relationship. Obedience is not a heavy weight. It flows freely from the heart saturated in humility and full of love for God through the Messiah.

If one has been familiar with my writings over the years [decades], they know that writing about witchcraft, sorcery, the occult is not something that has consumed me. However, on the other hand, it is not something I avoid simply because it is not a popular topic.

The enemy is not exalted, but he is not ignored either. Our Creator does not avoid the matter, but  alerts us to an enemy, his legions of demons, and spiritual warfare – a harsh reality. God provides all we need to be equipped for battle, such as armour and weapons (see Ephesians 6, 1 Peter 5:8, 9, John 10:10 for examples).

Yeshua (Jesus) exposed darkness and the evil hidden within it. He did not sidestep it. He warned us that we would have trouble in this world, but He comforts us with the reminder that He has overcome the world. [Jn 16:33] We are advised that our weapons are not of the flesh (not carnal), and therefore spiritual.

Certain prophets and apostles spoke of the adversary, but also about a Messiah, sent by Almighty God. The book of Revelation clears up more of the mystery of the adversary and how it will end, but keep in mind that God was quick to warn mankind right from the beginning, in the Garden of Eden [Genesis].

There are multitudes of pastors and teachers in the church who mostly avoid the topic, as if it were wrong to discuss spiritual warfare, the devil and demons, and witchcraft/sorcery. But God would not have us ignorant or in denial in days as dark and evil as these days now.

He made us aware of these things through His written Word by the prophets and the apostles, as well as through miraculous things that Jesus/Yeshua accomplished when He walked amongst us, such as deliverance from demons.

I am convinced that the purpose or reason that I was so led to end the series on warfare and the increase of witchcraft/sorcery/occult these days is due to the closeness of the appearance of the Lawless one (the Antichrist of all antichrists) and the beast system that God allows Satan to temporarily bring in.

None of us want to hear about the evil that will flood the world for a season as the devil’s wrath comes to fruition. However, God warned us about His judgment. We know it begins in His own house (the church, the house of God). There will be those who confuse the devil's wrath with God's.

Here is a hint. Satan cannot roll the skies up like a scroll, or remove mountains and islands. [Rev 6:14] Neither can the devil cause the stars to fall like figs from a tree. [Rev v 13] Even the purpose of the great tribulation is so people finally realize their need for God. Hopefully, they run TO Jesus/Yeshua, and not FROM.

This should prove the love of Christ Jesus (not that He has to prove anything). The reasoning is not for sensationalism or fearmongering, but for a positive purpose, which is to prepare people for that which is already evident before our eyes (escalating and accelerating evil), but also to confirm the closeness of the Lawless one. I do believe he is waiting for the ‘green light’.

Ultimately, that ‘go’ can only come from God, and in the way that it is written in the holy Bible. When the restrainer is removed, then, the appearance of the wicked one that the prophets of old, and John the Revelator clearly foretold of, shall be made manifest.

Revelation tells us how it all ends, and Christ (Messiah) is the Victor. If only the great tribulation, and the 1,000-year reign, and the short time that the devil is loosed afterwards was over. How we yearn to be with our Creator, Saviour, Redeemer, the living God, into eternity.

Ah, but for now, we practice patience (there is that frustratingly challenging word again). And we can gladly give thanks now and always and forever. We can praise Him for the final, glorious and victorious outcome. Selah

Know that the Lord is God: it is He that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise:

Be thankful unto Him, and bless His [holy] name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endures to all generations. [Ps 100:3-5]

In the Heat and the Heart of the Battle

It had been mentioned in the previous article about prayer and fasting. Christians globally are praying for loved ones who are caught in the snares of the enemy. Others still are praying for themselves, needing God’s help to deliver them from some addiction or besetting sin.

Multitudes are suffering division within the family, heaviness, addictions, infidelities, suicidal tendencies, mental illnesses, financial ruin, and a plethora of devastating circumstances, and they do not understand why.

Then we have those who are compromising; those who are leading a great number of people astray with false doctrines, New Age practices, witchcraft, and other forms of idolatry, and open acceptance of abominations – compromising with the world, the flesh and Satan, making church a mockery.

It is the first time in my 17 years of posting articles online on this particular website [blog] that one series monopolized the entire year, but that is how this played out – completely unplanned, wholly unexpected. Be that as it may, it seems an appropriate happenstance orchestrated by the Lord (in a concatenation of articles all relating to the Season of Consequences’ [2023]), to end the series on spiritual warfare in these ‘end times’ (last days).

There are some who prophesy that all the evil plans that the devil and his barbaric armies have and are plotting and plundering, both in the physical and the spiritual realms, will never know the climax of victory, or the successful campaign of torturous persecution and slaughter.

But what does the Bible say? Satan/Lucifer does have power (or no one would pay him any mind), and he has been tragically successful in countless campaigns since the beginning of mankind’s creation, allowed by God, of course. Again, read about his rampages and deceptions throughout the holy Bible.

Abortions, genocides, poverty, torture, disease, and every abomination that has ever taken place has been allowed by God, but it is a combination of sins, provoked and assisted by Satan; the devil’s work. Since our creation, we ask ‘why’.

It is conjecture [speculation] on my part, but I have often wondered if all the evil that has taken place on earth since the fall of mankind in Eden is allowed so that another rebellion never again takes place, as all of creation in the heavenlies and in earth witnessed the destruction, horror and brutalities of evil.

El Shaddai, the living God, weeps with us, and His holy angels gather our tears in sacred vials. The precious prayers of the saints will be mingled with incense and offered upon a golden altar before God’s throne. [Rev 8:3]

No matter how hard we try, we will find that we cannot be all we are meant to be on our own, or in our own strength, nor can we ‘will’ it. That is okay. That is how God intended it. He wants us dependent upon Him. He is not just our Creator, but to those who love Him, He is our heavenly Father.

The Messiah Yeshua (our Jesus) accomplished everything necessary when He willingly became a living sacrifice, and poured out His precious blood upon a rugged cross, died, was buried and resurrected again, on the third day after His death. Because of Him, and Him only, and through Jesus only, there is a way back to God – to our magnificent heavenly Father.

That reality is our victory; it is the peace that passes all understanding; it is the joy unquenchable (even in the midst of fiery furnaces [excruciating trials/tribulations]). Christ/Messiah is our everything!

God alone changes us. Even the godliest person we can think of has been corrupted and tainted by this world and the devil. It is good that this life is temporal because we face a lifetime of battles, wrestling[s] (struggles), trials, disappointments, sorrows, pain and tears.

That is not a defeatist attitude because we do have victory in Christ, but we will also still have failures. We are imperfect creatures and will still fall short at times, in thought, word or deed, even when unintentional, but we do not give up. We keep a genuine, repentant heart and rise again.

Humbly grab hold of the strong hand of God. Pray for brethren [true body of Christ] because we are one in the Spirit, and in His love. It is why we need one another, but more importantly, why ALL of us need the LORD! We cannot even hope to make it through without Christ Yeshua.

It is a process we all go through. Not one of us has all the answers, all the explanations, all the love, all the patience, all the knowledge, all the wisdom – only God does.

There is so much that we, as humankind, do not understand about God, the ‘how’s and the ‘why’s’ that frustrate us in the lack of understanding or knowledge. To me, it is akin to an ant trying to understand the ‘how’s and why’s’ of our doings – or not doing. Wisdom of the ant is limited, as is ours. We are the created, not the Creator.

To say a Christian never fails, or has victory 100% of the time, in everything, all the time, is inaccurate. Quite the high standard for this sinful flesh – quite the pressure! To suggest that a child of God can go through life without depression, pain, sorrow, financial troubles, health issues, or any significant loss is not a realistic or true statement.

Twisted truth is still a crooked lie; it turns one in a direction away from the core truth.  We live in a fallen, corrupted, sinful world. It is a true saying that bad things happen to good people. Bad things can happen to anyone.

Name me one person who ever walked this earth that did not taste of or experience tears, pain, sickness, and any number of bitter, unexpected sorrows. Yeshua/Jesus, the patriarchs, the prophets, the apostles, and Christians before our time all suffered when on earth, but their victory is now as they rest in Messiah.

They are all awaiting the first resurrection except Jesus, who was resurrected by the power of the Spirit of God (the firstfruits – first to be resurrected from the dead).

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. [1Cor 15:20]

Jesus/Yeshua even warned us that in this world we would have tribulation. But He does not want that fact to defeat us because He continues by telling us to be strong, to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. [Jn 16:33] (So, hang on and stick close to the Lord – abide in Him. He has us in the palm of His competent hand.)

Not everything that happens to us is good; some things are tragic and horrific. Yet, eternity is forever – something that is hard for us who live in a ‘temporal’ world to get our head around (to fully understand), but we hold fast to hope.

For we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God and are the called, according to His purpose. [Rom 8:28]

So, I end this entry by mentioning that in the previous article a scripture was posted that was meant as a ‘hint’ if my next post seemed delayed. I shared about how multitudes have been interceding in prayer for various people – family, friends, co-workers, pastors, ministries, countries, hostages, and the list and reasons are endless.

The scripture posted [Mk 9:29]:

And when He was come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, Why could we not cast him out? And He said to them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

I urged readers that if they were praying to seek the Lord about fasting, and to do so, if so led. There are things that I myself have been praying earnestly about, and fasting was indeed mingled in with it. I had clear instruction from the Lord, as He impressed it upon my spirit, and through His Word.

Three days of fluids only, then a break (a weekend). In that time, I managed to get an article was written, where I included scripture about the soldier who refrains from entangling himself in the business of the world (affairs of life), so that he may please the one who called him to be a soldier. [2Tim 2:4] –(paraphrased)

Another three days followed after the break, with the day spent fasting, but one meal refreshed me at day end. Then, a visit was extended from two days to five (grandson). So, my apologies for delay, but in these days and in this time, we should expect the unexpected, trusting God is ordering our steps and guiding us through life.

Never have I felt so close to God, and yet, I hunger to go deeper and deeper, closer and closer still. I am confident that all His children who love Him first are at the same place in their heart.

All of us beloved, are in God's competent hands; under His watchful eye, whether we are aware of that or not, whether we believe or not.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. [Eph 6:10]

Shalom in Christ, beloved saints.

To be continued...

Quick Update

I will stand my watch faithfully

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. [Ps 37:7] ESV

I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. [Ps 40:1] NKJV

quick update

Dr. Tom Horn:

Prayer continues for the comfort, strength and peace of Dr. Thomas Horn’s family during this time of adjustment in this time of grieving.

The Romeike Family:

Sadly, I can find no update or find out any news regarding Uwe and Hannelore Romeike, who were supposed to be deported October 11, 2023, after being granted asylum in the United States 15 years ago after they fled Germany.

Their crime was choosing to homeschool their children, something frowned upon in Germany. If I can find out any more info, I will inform you. Meanwhile, thank you to those who stood in the gap and prayed for this family of 11 (which includes 9 children).

Waves – Part 3

It was hoped that the third part of “Waves” would be posted tonight, but the day without electricity, it will now be tomorrow evening (Thursday, October 26) after supper, Lord willing.

More in-depth regarding spiritual warfare and witchcraft - it is 'witching hour' in a manner of speaking...a dark season. Prepare, be on guard.

Fit perfectly with the Lord's 'urgent warning' regarding witchcraft
and the 'increased' darkness falling. From a 'random moving', the sign
was the name of a place (in the movie). Note the 'dragon' on the bottom left.

Note: Picture taken September 26, 2023 - God always warns perfectly in advance.

Everything God does is done decently and in order. Yet, I encourage you that there are times the battle is the Lord's. He is the Commander-in-Chief, the warrior King, who will let us know. We are in competent hands.

Search the Bible; there are examples were the battle is NOT the Lord's, and He forewarns the king(s) if they proceed to battle, they will lose the battle. So, we too need to ask the Lord, in advance -- do we go to battle or not.

The Lord is my strength and song, and He is become my salvation: He is my God, and I will prepare Him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt Him.

The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is His name. [Ex 15:2, 3]

Thank you for your patience and understanding…

Despite opposing opinions, I cannot be swayed from what assignment I have been given. It is not all about me, but all of us are examples and a testimony to the glory of God.

Search the articles and see that from the get-go, the Lord Jesus is exalted. People are always pointed in His direction, for Jesus the Christ (Yeshua the Messiah) is the ONLY way back to the Father...no other.

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering (great patience), for a pattern (an example) to them which should believe hereafter on Him to life everlasting.

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only WISE God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen [1Tim 1:15-17]

Time is Almost Up

First posted October 2, 2016
(original link at end of post)

The Lord has moved upon my spirit and revealed: "great danger fast approaches". It is a well-known fact that danger is always lurking somewhere in this world, but my understanding is that all nations, all the people of the earth and particularly God's people are to be on high alert.

I am no alarmist, and many times when there have been false prophetic warnings giving dates in the past, the Lord would have me post "Not today..."

What exactly it (pending danger) is I do not know, but there is a deep urgency to warn the people to seek God and to repent, if necessary, and most importantly, to do His will. This is not to put anyone into the bondage of fear, although there will be those who will say so. Who can blame them with all the false prophecies the world has been subjected to?

Jonah was sent to tell the people to repent in Nineveh, but he did not want to. Instead, he hopped on a ship going in the opposite direction. When a storm came, the crew knew that someone was aboard that had angered God. Jonah confessed and was tossed out into the sea where a large fish swallowed him up.
I am sure the entire crew believed Jonah died, but he did not. Three days he stayed in the dark, smelly, acidic belly of that fish, only to be spewed (vomited) out on the third day. Jonah immediately went to Nineveh and warned the people.

He knew that if he warned the people and they repented that God would stay His hand and not send His judgment upon them. Jonah did not want to look like a fool to the people, or to look like a false prophet. He ran, rather than have to face the people once they repented and questioned his prophetic word.

(NOTE* added this day – April 27, 2020: It should also be noted that Nineveh had given Israel a very difficult time and were known enemies of Israel. This may well have been the main reason that inspired Jonah to disobey. BP2020)

Great Deception
Those of us who follow Christ closely know what the Word of God says, and we know that the main warning of Jesus (Matthew 24) that would be the mightiest weapon in Satan's arsenal in the last of the last days is great deception.
However, the Holy Scriptures also warn of unprecedented, cataclysmic natural events also, whether they be meteors, asteroids, volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, storms of great winds (hurricanes, cyclones, tornadoes etc). Global war is nearly upon us, economic collapse a reality and so much more.

Domino Effect

Once these things begin, it shall be as a domino effect. There will be no man, no government, no nation, who will be able to put a stop to it; only God can.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers (different, unusual) places.  All these are the beginning of sorrows.  [Mat 24:7,8]

The Word tells us also that in the latter times, events would be as a woman in travail, with labor pains that increase in intensity and frequency, until her time comes. So it shall be with the events happening that we were forewarned about, and truly, things ARE intensifying and becoming more frequent. The whole earth is in travail!

In great humility, we must seek Him for direction, discernment and truth. He will answer us and lead us in the way that we should go.

Yet, the Lord also let us know that He has secrets that are His alone, but if He so chooses to reveal them to us, they belong to us, so that we may be obedient to Him. He reveals in order to lead us, to direct our paths.

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may DO all the words of this law. [Deut 29:29]

For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
[Ps 91:11]

The holy angels are at His command, to do His will. He sends them out as He sees fit, for He is omniscient and wise. He is telling His people to repent, to seek Him now with all our heart and soul.

He is warning us urgently and strongly right now about great tribulation, great trouble, great danger upon the peoples of the world, in every nation. No one can judge what horrible thing will take place next. Only God alone knows.

It is all happening very quickly in these latter days. Hardly a day goes by now, when some
tragedy, some event does not take place. He will lead us to be there for others and He will lead others to be there for us, in times of trouble.
Who knows if He would not send an angel in human form to help us when there is no help around. Never underestimate God's ways or power. Who can know the mind of God?  We who love Jesus and abide in Him have the mind of Christ, which is to do (obey) the will of the Father.

But if you from then you shall seek the Lord your God, you shall find Him, if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in tribulation, and all these things are come upon you, even in the latter days, if you turn to the Lord your God, and shall be obedient unto His voice;

(For the Lord your God is a merciful God); He will not forsake you, neither destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your Fathers which He swore unto them.
 [Deut 4:29]

Brethren and friends, an urgency is in my spirit. God always gives warnings within a fair time frame. This is so that we can be prepared, but more importantly, to not walk in fear.
We are to walk in a strong faith that seeks Him desperately, knowing that He loves us. Keep in prayer and read the Word of God. He is speaking to all of us who have ears to hear; who are willing to listen and obey.

He has been warning for years now. Time is almost up!

Or has God assayed (determined, attempted) to go and take Him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?

Unto you it was shown, that you might know that the LORD He is God; there is none else beside Him. Out of heaven He made you to hear His voice, that He might instruct you: [...]

 [Deut 4:34, 35]

Something horrific is coming which will begin the domino effect. That is why the Lord has placed an urgency regarding "danger" upon my heart (and the hearts of others).

There is still time because the Lord always issues "fair warning", but think again, He has been warning for a very long time now. He has been most patient, very longsuffering, but the time is about upon us.

Seek God humbly; pour out your heart to Him in faith, not fear. Wait upon Him to answer and direct you. It is not the time to go off half-cocked in fear and crazy imaginations. Yet, do not do the opposite, which is to ignore His warning.

All I know at this time is that whatever it is that will push that first domino must be sooner upon us than we care to admit or acknowledge, but we who believe have always known that the day would come when His Word is fulfilled in its entirety. Fast and pray if you are so led, but do seek the Lord whilst He can be found. Call upon Him now, whilst He will still answer.

Please do not ignore His warnings, which He gives out of love. Repent now, if you know there is anything that you must repent of. When he calls us and reprimands us or shows His disapproval in anything, accept it and be obedient to His leading.

Heed these words, I solemnly urge you. He also warns of the consequences of not seeking Him when He calls us, and not following His counsel.

How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at My reproof: behold, I will pour out My Spirit upon you, I will make known My words unto you. Because I have called, and you refused; I have stretched out My hand, and no man regarded;

But you have set at nought
(as nothing) all My counsel, and would have none of My reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear comes;

When your fear comes as desolation, and your destruction comes as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish come upon you.
Then shall they call upon Me, but I will not answer; they shall seek Me early, but they shall not find Me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:

They would have none of My counsel: they despised all My reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

But whoso hearkens
(listens) unto Me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
Selah  [Prov 1:22-33]

A loving parent always corrects and disciplines their child out of love. Our Creator always corrects and forewarns out of HIS love. The rest is up to us. Just as a good child does not want to sadden their parents and thus obeys them, so should we, the created, desire not to grieve the heart of the Creator, but rather to return His love by simply obeying and honouring Him.

Jesus answered and said unto him (Judas, NOT Iscariot), If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode in Him. [Jn 14:23]

We love Him because He first loved us.
[1Jn 4:19]

for His glory

Addendum - What I had written to a dear sister and friend in England is this (and I believe it is worth posting):

Britain, United States, Canada, Ireland, Scotland (UK that is), New Zealand, Australia...so many nations; it's almost as though the Lord's warning is indeed for the entire world. China, Russia, N. and S. Korea, Philippines, Cuba, Venezuela, Jamaica, Haiti, Columbia...[all] the Islands. I truly sense every nation, every people, every clan and tribe...needs to be on alert.

I could go on...India, Taiwan, Greece, Italy, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq...onward. ALL [nations] need to repent and draw close to God and let Him lead.

Incredible Times

My apologies for delayed posting, but I have been unwell fighting the flu the past two weeks. Howbeit, praise to God, He has brought me through it..although I still get somewhat fatigued easily, it is going to be alright. Hallelujah! Hope to post tomorrow...although it may take two or three separate posts to share the full message that is upon my heart.

There is such a loud warning to God's dedicated people, the disciples/followers of Jesus the Messiah, the Nazarene, to keep watchful, prayerful and obedient to the commandments, as Yeshua instructed. The darkness of these days is foreboding; even the secular world, from young to old, sees it.

However, most are choosing to not talk too much about the sinful state the world is in, how love has waxed cold and how hard the hearts of people have become.  But rather, the choice is to deny it, by saying "that's life...get over it", or people are embracing the "liberty" that they believe this open rebellion to God allots. Witchcraft and "new age" for the coming "new world" is being promoted.

Also, please keep Israel in prayer. There are brethren there who know the Messiah came once and are awaiting His return just as the rest of us (God's children of obedience) are. The end times in prophecy are centered around Israel and the Middle East, and surrounding nations.

I keep coming across scripture that speaks of Israel appearing to be mostly safe, but then from the north the enemies come against Israel. These are turbulent, unpredictable times, but the worst has not yet happened. things are escalating and moving at incredible speed.

We must share the good news about the cross of Jesus, His death, resurrection and ascension, paving the only way back to the Father (salvation, redemption, atonement) and the way to be forgiven of our sins. We too must carry our own cross daily, dying to self (our fleshly desires and appetites that Satan seeks to tempt us in), and overcoming the flesh step by step, day by day. We can rejoice in the fact that by the spilling of His precious blood, the Lamb of God (Jesus/Yeshua) provided a way back to the one, true Living God.

Hell is a reality, for if it were not, why would Jesus say that the "gates of hell" would not prevail against the church? When His disciples were saying that some thought He was John the Baptist, and some thought He was Elijah, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets, Jesus/Yeshua asked, "But whom do you say that I am?"

Peter answered, "You are the Messiah (Christ), the Son of the living God." Jesus stated to Peter (Simon Barjona) that he was blessed because no man (flesh and blood) revealed that knowledge to him, but His Father in heaven revealed it to Peter.

Messiah then said to Peter that upon this rock (the 'rock' being the fact or revelation that He (Jesus/Yeshua) is the Christ, the Son of the living God), He would build His church and the "gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (would not triumph over or conquer it).

And that He would give us (disciples) the keys of heaven, that whatsoever we bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatsoever we loose in earth shall be loosed in heaven [see Matthew 16:14-19]

It is a time to walk humbly and obediently. It is time to keep on your armour...ever remembering that we have a very real adversary (Satan/Lucifer) and his armies - many are the enemies of the cross and of Jesus Christ, both spiritually and physically. That is reality!

for His glory

Can You Explain That Please?

A close friend and sister in Christ left a comment under the post Stand Still and Wait (from January 18, 2018), which gave me pause and left me wondering if others were having difficulty understanding the word from the Lord that I had posted.  Since my friend posted it to public forum, I asked permission to use her comment to expound on the message that was given, in case others perhaps needed an explanation. Permission was granted. Thank you D.L.

Comment: Tough word Bonita. Wondering if I will wait upon the Lord when He seemingly isn't answering my prayers. It can be tough when disaster appears imminent and you must do something. I pray I and my brethren will have the grace to "stand still and wait" when faced with this test. God Bless you sis.

So, I emailed her a response. What follows is what I gleaned from my answer (but I will add more to it here, which I did not write to my friend), with the hope that it will help others who may have had questions and/or unclear understanding.

At the beginning of the “Stand Still and Wait” post, I had stated that the word was not meant for everyone. Usually, a message, especially a prophetic message, is understood by those it is meant for. Different situations were being addressed by the Lord, and not every situation pertains to everyone or all people. It is between an individual and God (Jesus).

Mankind vs God?
There are some Christians who are astounded by what mankind has accomplished or plans to accomplish as far as technology goes (AI; virtual reality, holograms, 3D printers etc), weaponry (compact airborne high energy lasers, direct laser weapon system, etc) and biological (cloning, hybrids etc), but God pointed out that some of these same people who believe the “once-impossible” things that mankind has developed somehow struggle to believe Him for the “impossible” miracles which He is more than capable of.

Some people are afraid to believe because of the warnings about false prophets and false Christs, but in both instances (Mat 24:24 and 2 Thes 2:9) the warnings refer to Satan and the son of perdition (Antichrist).  Ultimately the false ones will point away from the true, living God and away from Jesus Christ spoken of in the gospel and point to a different “Jesus” or different “Christ” than the one written about in the gospels.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.  [2Cor 11:3, 4]

That being said, Jesus the Christ (Messiah) still performs miracles today.

The Deceiver

This is where Satan will bring confusion, discouragement, lies and strong doubts, presenting many thoughts (fiery darts) (sometimes in rapid succession, complete with imagery) to try and prove that whatever miracle you believe God for defies logic (even miracles as mind-boggling as Peter walking on water, or the sun going backward ten degrees, or water separating and leaving a dry path, or 10 lepers healed at once, or reversals such as in Job’s situation, etc).

Satan will either try to convince a person that God does not do the impossible today and that you believe a lie, questioning whether God really spoke to you (remember the serpent in the Garden of Eden), or that you have gone off the deep end aka “you are crazy”. Or perhaps even questions will enter the mind such as, “…why would Jesus perform a miracle for you, out of billions of people in the world?”, along with perhaps many other twisted truths, lies and questions, in order to lure you into fear and unbelief.

Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to scriptures that will combat and destroy Satan’s lies. Keep on the full armour of God, and hold fast to your faith. When Satan came against Jesus (who is the Word that came in the flesh), Jesus countered everything Satan said with the Holy Scriptures (the WORD of God). It is written…we are to do the same as Jesus did. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit.

Danger of Apostasy

Not only are we warned of false prophets and false Christs, but we are to watch for those who are in positions of leadership within the body of Christ that are false brethren and/or deceitful workers.

There are some in leadership who are caught up in sin (adultery, fornication, lies, deception etc) and who speak forth accusations, harbouring bitterness, anger, and/or unforgiveness toward other Christians. This should not be and sets the wrong example. He is and has been calling them to repentance; judgment is at their door.

Some are teaching false doctrines or compromising with the world. There are leaders in danger of becoming reprobate, unless they genuinely repent and change their heart/mind.  In the last days, we are warned by Jesus that many will fall away (apostasy). Repentance is always an option, unless the heart becomes hardened and love waxes cold, and unless God sends them strong delusion because they would not receive the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. [2Thess 2:11]

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. [2Pet 3:9]

Part of the message in "Stand Still and Wait" is addressing Christians and situations such as those in positions of trust and leadership, those  who refuse correction, blinded to truth due to anger, hatred etc and will not humble themselves, confess their sin and repent in brokenness, in order for God to deliver, heal and restore. [2Chron 7:14, 15]
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
[2Cor 11:13-15]

They profess that they know God; but in works thy deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. [Titus 1:16]

If the Lord ever instructs you to confront such leaders face to face in His love, giving them opportunity to repent and turn from unrighteousness, and if the warnings are not received, you can expect adverse reaction or response.

When and only IF God leads you, He will give you the words and the strength to stand calmly, without fear, amidst what could very well turn out to be a brood of vipers. He will grant the same grace as granted to Stephen before those he rebuked stoned him to death. Satan, the accuser of the brethren, will turn a warning meant for the salvation of a soul around, mirroring it to accuse the messenger of exactly the sin which those tormented by him are guilty of. He is a master at manipulation, slander and deception.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you, if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.  [Jn 15:20]

Times of Danger

I am sure that the Lord is not saying that if we are in a dangerous situation that we have to just sit still and wait, but rather, we are to trust the leading of the Holy Spirit, keeping in mind that God is Sovereign, who knows the end from the beginning.

I cannot pretend to know the mind of God, not even close, but when I was given scriptures such as Moses at the time of the exodus [Ex 14], and all the Israelites were backed up to the Red Sea with nowhere to go, and Pharaoh and his army were closing in, in hot pursuit, what I understood that the Lord was showing me was that He already had planned a way out for them. He knew all along. He was not caught off-guard by Pharaoh and his men.

Pharaoh had over 600 choice chariots and it says he took all the chariots of Egypt, and all his horsemen and army to catch the Israelites, and they were almost upon them. [Ex 14:7] The people were terrified, and understandably so. They wondered why God had brought them out of Egypt only to be killed by Pharaoh and his armies at the sea, where they had no way of escape. [verses 10-12]

Moses told them not to fear, but to stand still (in other words, DONT RUN; DONT PANIC...) and wait for God to deliver them. That's when the cloud and darkness covered the Egyptians whilst waters of the Red Sea parted and the Israelites began to cross over. You know the rest of the story.

It was not a test…God acted immediately, but they still had to wait for God’s answer to unfold. The Egyptians were stopped until the cloud moved and that did not happen until the waters fully parted and all of the Israelites were almost across to the other side.

Just like King Jehoshaphat, when the enemy armies were approaching and he did not know what to do. He was afraid and greatly distressed, but God already had an answer and told him what to do. It was not a test, but they had to go into battle. Singers were appointed to go ahead of the army and sing and praise God. When they got to the enemy camp, they were all dead. The armies had all turned on one another, and fought and destroyed each other.  [2Chron 20:23]

But Jehoshaphat still had to wait (not run, panic or give up), but wait for God, who already had the plan and was unfolding it. The king and his army had to stand still in a spiritual sense, not literally because they still had to march to the enemy’s camp.

It was not a test and they did not have to wait, as in “stand still like a statue and do nothing”, but in both cases, (Moses and with Jehoshaphat), they only had to stand still (in trusting God) and follow His instructions and wait for things to unfold before their eyes, as God worked.

Not a Test – God Leads
So, if we find ourselves in danger, do not think it is a test. You are going to have to fight fear, but know in your heart and mind that God has not abandoned you. He is Sovereign and will lead us in that very moment, even if it simply means giving us the strength needed to bear up as He did Stephen.

I do not have all the answers but when we are in imminent danger where action must be taken, I know God is with us. There are times He commands us to stand still (spiritually, do not fear) and wait for things to unfold. Sometimes that is all we can do.

In both scenarios in the Bible, the people and even the leaders were understandably and naturally afraid (God gave us instincts). However, each time, the people were told not to fear (panic), but stand still spiritually (not give up or give in, thinking that God has abandoned you) but wait for things to unfold (such as the time it took for the waters to part, or the time it took to march to the enemy camp, only to find the enemies were all dead and that it was indeed God’s battle...)

Final Surrender
Some of God’s people have one final thing to give up, in order to share with Christ in victory, and that is the final surrender of flesh, along with its appetites and desires. Some are struggling. The Lord God is saying not to keep delaying out of fear, but that there comes a time it has to be done.

He is saying it is a critical time and He does not want the door to close, but like a good Father, He is calling His people to pay attention...to snap to it, which means to move swiftly and wisely to an action. That would even mean people like me; so let us pray for each other to overcome, to be strengthened.

The key to overcoming fear is to receive His perfect love because it will cast out fear, for fear has torment. The struggle ends when we believe, receive and rest in God’s love. Obedience gives us that confidence and if He asks us to do something, He knows we can do it, and the Holy Spirit is in us to help us.

The message the Lord gave is not to be cruel but rather one of urgency because of things that are coming.  He is “unfolding” His plans for each, but we must follow His instructions.

God also sees and knows that for many who are determined to obey in complete surrender, and who are very close to victory, have seen things that are very close to their heart (very important) suddenly seem to take a nosedive. The enemies of the cross target our vulnerable (weakest) area, with every intention to steal, kill and destroy.

God is saying to stand still spiritually, meaning do not run, panic or give up, but to trust Him. There are times we all face fear, and it is scary and hard and yes, it is a battle. So we find scripture (and yes, I speak to myself as well):
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  [Phil 4:13]

Search the Word and use it as a mighty weapon against flesh and the enemy.  I did state that the message was not for everyone, my friend, but those who it is meant for will know.

The Lord is not angry (I did not sense any anger at this time as He spoke), but it was definitely a very firm, serious and strong warning about the time we are in, and the importance of being obedient, following instruction.

He wants those who are determined and sincere about overcoming to stand still spiritually (meaning do not stay in fear; do not panic, run or give up, but DO). He has the answer already, just as He did for Moses and the Hebrews, and Jehoshaphat and the Israelites.  It just has to unfold and we have to be strong, and go through whatever He has instructed us to do, trusting that His banner over us is love and in Jesus Christ, there is victory.

for His glory
