The Masked Two-Faced Puppet

President Trump - the masked puppet

(NOTE Updated: Addition to a statement (adding love, an important addition, as we are to "love God and one another": [Deut 6:5; Levi 19:18]and Jesus [Mk 12:30, 31; Mat 22:37-39] -- commandments by God; it is not a suggestion). Also, scriptures to back it up, and pictures. A commentary is added as well. I believe the addition will be most helpful to some, and a gentle reminder for others - BP)

The Masked Two-faced Puppet

His speech was smooth as butter, yet war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords. [Ps 55:21]

For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve. [Rom 16:18]

My opinion is that President Trump is a player and a deceiver. One opinion out of over eight billion souls is barely going to be noticed. I have prayed for Trump in the past, but his fruit does not seem to ripen.

Yet, Trump seems the type who lives this life exactly as he pleases, then possibly repents on his deathbed, if given the opportunity (meaning if death was not instant and unexpected).

If any seeds took root in the soil of his heart from all the evangelicals that surrounded him in the White House (and if any dared to speak to the President about repentance), then hopefully, Trump will repent. If not, he was forewarned in the Bible. And since he had a "Trump Bible" created, hopefully he read it.

Be that as it may, is that not what the Lord desires anyway, that we 'all' repent? We cannot judge a person's salvation; just like the thief on the cross who repented, believing Jesus was Lord. By the by, for all those who misquote Scripture or take it out of context: "Judge not", when kept in context, has to do with judging whether another is saved or not. We are commanded to judge with righteous judgment.

Yet NONE of us, self included, can judge any person’s salvation. We are instructed to know them by their fruit, and the love we have for each other. Selah.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is patient toward us, not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentance. [2Pet3:9] (Emphasis mine)

To love someone we may not even like is as simple as praying for them, much like Job prayed for his fair-weather friends who misjudged and criticized him in his darkest hour. Love is desiring that no harm come to them, no taking revenge; no character assassination. Love is praying and leaving them in the hands of the wisest - God Almighty [El Shaddai].

It does not mean being their 'buddy' or hanging out with them. Allow me to point you in the right direction. The most positive way to prove "loving your neighbour as yourself" is to genuinely forgive them for any and all offences, just as you 'yourself' desire to be forgiven when you mess up.

That does not mean what they did was right, or even acceptable. Forgiveness means you are not going to be the type of person to bring it back up like a sledgehammer of 'guilt' that is ready to slam down on them the 'next time' something goes awry.

Although most people do not forget a very painful offence, true forgiveness is void of animosity and placing blame. It truly lets it go into God's competent hands. When a soul has no bitter root [Heb 12:15], even scar tissue can be healed by Jesus.

No matter what our feelings or opinions are about any one soul, the Creator's desire is that we will all come to our senses (because we ALL have sinned and fallen short of God's glory) [Rom 3:23], turn away from our sins, and repent...but not all will.

Many people believe Trump is being used by God to ‘save America’ and get it back on its feet again. I believe Adonai 'allowed' Trump to win, just as He has allowed many things in this life that none of us can explain or understand.

We cannot know or comprehend the fullness of God's wisdom any more than an ant can know or comprehend ours. God also uses unrighteous or wicked people to carry out His judgments. Sovereign and Providential - that is God.

The same man who promised to bring all wars to an end (but has not yet done so) is now promising to “issue a $5,000 dividend check to millions of Americans because of the economic prosperity the country will experience.”

Trump also explained: “Very much like a successful company will do a cash distribution to its shareholders.”

I am not American, and I am not a prophet, but some who are Christians and some who are called prophets cannot discern that Trump is playing every card (like Constantine) to win favour in both the secular and spiritual sectors.

Adonai, the true living God, often allowed certain people to rise up, only to have them carry out His judgments. Do folks remember that during his campaigning, Trump had “jokingly” stated that he wanted to be a “dictator just for one day”? Lord willing, next article may expound on that.

President Donald Trump must be shaking in his boots [not noticeably, of course] to gloss over vote-buying as an 'incentive'. He must silently lack confidence that his supporters are enough to win him the election legally. From my perspective, vote-buying as an incentive is a form of semantic deception.

The Masked Deception

Truth is mocked as the deceiver
flies half-masked

The masked deceiver mocks truth by flying half-masked - [half-mast] to signal the mourning, respect and remembrance of truth. (Yes, it is a play on words to drive home the point that deception (Satan) mocks, but God is not mocked.)

The wicked plot against the just, and gnash upon him with his teeth. The Lord shall laugh at him: for He sees that his day is coming. [Ps 37:12-13]

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows that shall he also reap. For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. [Gal 6:8]

Trump claims to be a Christian, yet we are told we will know them by their fruit. People insist he is a Cyrus or a Jehu. I plan (Lord willing) to do a wee article on that (hmm, as hard as I try, I am not known so much for 'wee' articles, but one never knows).

Is this 'incentive' not a bribe? Is it not offering a cash payment in 'exchange' for a vote? Using the term 'incentive' makes the action sound like a reward or like a normal workplace bonus, which sways far from the illegal and corrupt act that it is.

It turns out that I am wrong. Theconversation.com  wrote: "Trump's offer seems to run afoul of federal laws, which make it a crime to pay for votes. After Trump's speech, political commentator Sam Stein posted on X: "trump [sic] openly bribing people to vote for republicans. $5k per person if republicans hold the house and the senate?" [sic]"

(The above is [sic] - Latin for 'thus' or 'so', meaning it is placed inside brackets in a quote to show that an error in the original text was copied on purpose.)

Who Could Use $5,000?

Trump offers five thousand reasons
to vote for him in November

In July 2026, a Wisconsin Elections Commission found enough evidence to refer citizen complaints about Elon Musk's behaviour (offering $1 million to people who voted in the Supreme Court election) to a district attorney, "which can choose", as the AP [Associated Press] notes, "to bring criminal charges over violating the state law against election bribery."

The news article goes on to explain that because state and federal laws differ, [a state prosecutor] cannot extrapolate from the Wisconsin decision to Trump's $5,000 promise. The same now holds true in Trump's case. Very clever, these politicians, hey?

Giving or offering money, gifts, or services to influence how someone votes is legally classified as vote-buying or electoral bribery. Politicians have counsellors who know the 'ins and outs' of the law.

According to the law (paraphrased), by avoiding the correct legal or political term (vote-buying), the speaker attempts to manipulate how the offer is perceived, hiding the corrupt nature of the exchange. The intention is to mislead.

One article published: In political communication, this is known as a euphemism, using a soft word to mask a harsh or dishonest reality so that the public does not react negatively.

Even when it comes to mail-in votes, Trump tried to halt them, stating the 2020 election was 'stolen' as a result. The Supreme Court stopped Trump from having his way, and mail-in voting will continue. There was mention of barcodes and other safety or security features, but they will be announced in due season.

Something to Consider

To offer every adult American a $5,000 (£3,700) dividend or payout is an incredible promise. In fact, it is staggering. For a country that is already trillions in debt, paying off Americans who voted so that the Republicans win both chambers of Congress (November elections) would cost the US government over a TRILLION dollars!

JD Vance, Vice President, connected the money raised from US tariffs on imported goods with the plan to pay Americans. When I called it an "empty promise", I had not realized that the Democrats had labelled the plan as such. It is a logical conclusion, given Trump's record of failures in fulfilling all of his promises.

Trump also promised to bring peace -- to put an end to war. There are other failed vows that Trump made that failed to come to fruition - health care, a cap on credit card interest, an end to wars - and more.

We were not meant to stop using our ability for critical thinking. These are all things to consider...and then take your concerns to the Lord. He will not fail you. He will speak in wisdom and truth.

Casting all your care upon Him [Jesus]; for He cares for you. [1Pet 5:7]

Better it is that you should not vow, than that you should vow and not pay. [Ecc5:5]

For in the multitude of dreams and many words, there are also various vanities: but fear God. [vs 7]

As the leader of a country, and especially if Trump claims to put God first, then every vow he makes, he makes 'first' to God. All of us who claim to live for Adonai need to tread carefully...and respectfully, honourably, and truthfully, to the glory of God, through His beloved Son Jesus Christ.

He died upon a rugged cross willingly for us, shed His precious blood; was taken down from the cross and buried in the cold ground. Yet, hallelujah! On the third day, the Messiah (our Christ Jesus/Yeshua) rose again, witnessed by hundreds for 40 days before He ascended into heaven.

He is soon returning. Do you hear the horses' hooves? Do you feel the heat of the coming fire? Americans, I pray you consider carefully. The money would be soon spent with little to show for it. Needless to say, do you trust that Trump has America's best interests at heart, or his own interests?

For His glory alone
