The Interesting Bible Characters Will Be Revealed

Distractions Are a Powerful Tool

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us [outwit us]: for we are not ignorant of his devices. [2Cor 2:11]

I began this series a little over a year ago, managing to publish nine parts. However, the distractions and hindrances since the last post have been colossal (and if ‘colossal’ appears to be an exaggeration, it is not by much). Distractions are all around, everywhere.

Wherefore we would have come to you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us. [1Thess 1:18]

Look at the distractions alone in the world today. It was about a year and a half ago that I noticed the uptick in distractions. Indeed, they have always been around to lead a saint away from the faithful way, and down pathways that lead to dead ends or hinder our time with Jesus/Yeshua.

When this series began at the beginning of October last year, one of the first things mentioned was not to be seduced into giving up or being led into a place of defeat. Many were speaking about weariness, but a spirit of heaviness [depression] was a great weight to multitudes.

The battles of the saints are a reality that Jesus himself warned about. Remember? He warned us that we will have tribulation in this world, but by remembering that He overcame the world, we can have that peace that passes all understanding, and a gladness (good cheer) knowing that we are not alone, that victory is His and that we are ‘more than conquerors’’ through Him. [Jn 16:33]

He knows it is not easy. He never expected us to walk around with a Joel Osteen smile – a perpetual smile. Yet that unshakeable peace…none can take. Let me clarify…it can be shaken, and it will be, but unshakeable, meaning “firm”; it cannot be tossed away or changed. Christ is the anchor that holds it in place. Glory…thank You Jesus!

Things Are Peaking

Again, the day has escaped me. I am seriously considering a YouTube channel. I do not have a camera, but at least, to start, perhaps, I can get on and say whatever the Lord leads me to share. Visuals can be put up. It is a serious thought. The world is crying out for truth, and God is revealing. However, He is wise in the handling of it.. He remembers we are but dust, no matter how very strong we insist that we are.

Throughout this past year, the Lord has led. He has made it very clear that although people want to shove it under the rug, we cannot. Witchcraft is everywhere we look, and it is not just around Halloween now, or the Solstices…the Sabbats, which consist of the annual celebrations or festivals (eight) on the pagan Wheel of the Year.

The witchcraft is beyond books in the schools (elementary right on up), filled with themes of witchcraft and magic, being used as a “tool” for teaching subjects such as science, language arts, social studies etc.

When my son was in Grade 7 in mid-2000, about 2005, it was mandatory that he read Harry Potter books, as it was part of the curriculum in English. If ye refused (or a parent signed the student out of it), it would affect the child’s final mark, and it would mean a failure because it was a majority of the year course.

It is no longer standard, but many parents in schools across the continent (Canada and the USA) are divided over books that are not only occult in nature, but others that are sexually explicit.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. [2Cor 10:4]

Indeed, witchcraft is something the Lord wants people to be very much aware of, as well as the spiritual warfare we are in; however, it has to be balanced. People either deny it altogether or go overboard with it.

The Bible is clear on the reality of spiritual warfare, but doctrines of demons [1Tim 4:1] fabricated by deceitful spirits and taught by false teachers (wolves in sheep’s clothing), and false teachers, often called hypocritical liars.

The prosperity gospel makes a mockery of warfare, often making it sound like a game – stomping on the head of the enemy, decreeing and declaring, commanding angels (which is NOT scriptural – only God commands the angels). The false prophets push the NAR [New Apostolic Reformation], or New Age, New Thought agendas, and much more.

Again, I have much prepared, but not organized. There is much to share with the saints.

Jesus Reminds Us of Deception

“Take heed that no man deceive you.”  [Mat 24:4] Those words of Jesus would not leave me after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Like many, I went through a process that was uncomfortable. I did not know Charlie Kirk before his tragic death. I had never heard of him, and I wrote that.

So, it was not grief I felt for the loss of someone I knew, but rather, the violence in the world today; how the Lord had often warned over the years how things will happen sudddenly and unexpectedly.

In 2008, I wrote an article (it’s been posted here a few times) called “We Overcome”. It had to do with things happening suddenly, and people blaming each other, and others blaming God. It was back then (2008) that the Lord spoke about the 'domino effect', how it would take one push for things to start.

It will build momentum slowly, until nothing can stop one thing crashing into the next, into the next, an onslaught, controlled only by the providence of God Himself.

The false prophets took the words, suddenly and unexpectedly, to a whole other level, of course, with false “wonder” things. Deceptions like the wealth of the rich being transferred to the saints.

Well, the self-proclaimed prophets certainly will line their pockets, and the wealth they gain will be from the naive followers who give their tithes and "seed-faith' money so they can line their wallets...with the money transferred from your wallet to theirs.

The one problem with plagiarism is that the plagiarist does not very often understand the meaning of a matter, or they make one up.

Processing Events Step by Step

A man's heart devises his way: but the Lord directs his steps. [Prov 16:9]

I wanted to be respectful to a young widow with two children, I did, but I did say that something just did not feel right. However, out of respect, I digressed and refused to say more in that post. The internet was buzzing, but I held back for ten days from the time of the murder of Charlie Kirk. Of course, like probably millions of others, I did pray for the wife and children of the man slain.

Who would not feel compassion? It is instinctive, or at least, typically, when one hears of a murder, the heart goes out to those closest to the victim, does it not?

Yet, when I heard her speeches and witnessed her ways, something seemed ‘unnatural’. How I went before the Lord. What kind of horrible person was it to think such things? I really was torn over it. I prayed earnestly – repented genuinely.

Frankly, I had no intention whatsoever of joining the crowd to speak about it. I was inundated with information. Videos, podcasts, and news articles were nonstop since the tenth day after it happened.

It was amazing to hear everyone mentioning Jesus, but it confused me at the same time. Was Charlie Kirk not a political activist? He was, but his faith was being pushed to the forefront. As I stated, I had not known the man. He did believe strongly in Jesus.

But the more I prayed, the more unsettled I became. JD Vance was being compared to James, the apostle, by self-proclaimed prophet Amanda Grace. She compared Peter Hegseth to the apostle Peter, and Charlie Kirk to the martyr Stephen. All of it made me feel ill in my spirit. And I saw none of them as such.

One pastor at Kirk’s memorial wheeled around a massive cross, as if to compare the death of Charlie Kirk to the death of Jesus the Messiah. There is no comparison. Jesus/Yeshua gave his life willingly, sacrificially. Charlie Kirk did not have the option. It was taken from him.

T-shirts were being sold at the Memorial, and continue to be sold, along with posters that say, I Am Charlie. His wife encourages people that whatever they do from now onward, “do it for Charlie”.  No, do it for Jesus! We are being molded into the image of Jesus Christ, not molded into the image of a mere man – a man that Jesus also died for.

I will try again to get the proper article up tomorrow. It has become so difficult, the days fly by, and always filled, yet what am I doing? Reading the Word, praying, time with God, then researching, business…etc. I cannot explain all that goes on, just normally, never mind the distractions. Shake my head, is all I can say.

Betrayal and Judas were very heavy upon my heart through these past two months…I did write about it in Part 9 of War and Witchcraft…or Part 8.

But the one thing that I could not shake, even after fasting and praying for one week, was the story that kept coming back to me, and that was the story of David and Bathsheba.

Betrayal [the kiss of betrayal, kiss of death], Judas, 'take heed no man deceive you', King David, Bathsheba, sabotage, Trojan horse. it was back in June that I posted about "The Season of the Judas'" (Judas - plural)

Yes, there has been hours upon hours of prayer, reading the Word, seking God, researching...but so much hindrance, or being unwell, or having conflicts.

All prayers are greatly appreciated; they are the greatest gift of all. Yes, there is still much to share, Lord willing. Everything is going fast.

The year of the snake is coming to a close, and the year of the horse approaches...so does the white horse.

Press in - cling to Jesus like healthy grapes to the strong Vine.

for His glory alone
