Year of Commitment and Trust

This is the first day of 2014 - a little after 2:30 am.  The old has passed away, the new has come forth.  My first newsletter went out tonight - I made up a list. It is difficult to say how many newsletters that there will be time for, but until that time and as led of the Lord, I shall send them out. If you were missed (apologies) or if you would like to sign up for the newsletter, please email me.

New Year - New Email* (Attention)

My email is changing. Please take notice. It is an email address I've had for years, but have not used.  It is being restored, so it's new to most of you, but old to me (there are actually a couple of you that will well remember it).  I will slowly be phasing out the other one (dovesofthevalleys4), but I will keep people posted as to when I finally close the account.

A program on BTR (Blog Talk Radio) will be scheduled later today (perhaps around noon), Lord willing.  Will keep you posted as to the time.  It is late, so my brain power is low, but please allow me to leave you with this.  Great trouble is coming and it is time now to search your heart.

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.  Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble. [Ps 37:6, 7, 39]

If you do not know the Lord, or if you are backslidden, change your mind and turn your heart towards God Amighty. May the Lord draw you near Him and grant you a spirit of repentance.  Tomorrow is not guaranteed, no matter what age you are.  Cry out to God and ask Him to save you through Jesus Christ.

(For He saith, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured (helped) you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Remember, we are in a war spiritually.  Ephesians 6 exhorts us to keep on the full armor of God. It is definitely not the time to be slack in this area, but keep on the full armor of God (again, read the book in Ephesians if you do not know what the armor is).  Also, we serve a Sovereign God who is the Lord of the battle and by His Spirit and in Jesus the Messiah's name, we have the victory.

for His glory
