Make Your Calling and Election Sure

Now you understand the seriousness of obeying Me.  Did My Son not say that only those who DO My will, will enter into the kingdom of heaven?

Why call Me, ‘Lord, Lord’ and do not the things I say?  Do you yourself not say that I AM a God of love, mercy and grace, but also a God of justice and judgment?

Do you desire to do My will, to be used as a vessel unto honor, while at the same time catering to the lusts of the flesh, just as the unsaved, refusing to die to self?  Fear and unbelief will rob you of faith and trust!  Make up your mind – choose this day whom you will serve.

Will you satisfy yourself as the enemy (your adversary) tempts you, or will you sacrifice unto Me – offering yourself, your life to Me?  Do you love your life more than Me?  Do you not understand that your very life is in My hands? I have heard your prayers.  You have heard of My promises, yet you fear I take too long or that I AM capricious and change My mind as man does  - unbelief rides behind fear.

Repent and be holy.  Watch what I will do as you offer up your life and walk obediently.  You have heard all the stories of faith and believe them, yet can you not have faith to believe Me when it comes to you and your life?

I have told you, you are at the precipice.  Shall you fall away, however slowly, so that the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life shall be satisfied?  Or will you grab My steady hand, believing Me for what I have said, coming away from the precipice and entering in thru the strait gate that the narrow road leads to?

                                
Lay down your burdens; be rid of idols; lay down your life.  I give you yet another opportunity.  Do not trample on the blood of My Son.  Do not mock Me. The testing of faith is most difficult for My people, but those who know Me, believe Me, trust Me and obey,  reap the rewards of My promises victoriously.
 
I long to bring you into your destiny, but you have been stubborn and fearful.  Believe Me.  I will do (perform) all I promised only when you lay down your life and obey.  Shall My heart break as you stand before Me, only to hear, “Why call Me, Lord, Lord, and yet did not the things I said (asked)?"
 
Consider carefully.  You can do your will and I will not stop you, yet you alone will be responsible for the consequences.  If you were not My child (son), I would not chastise you, but the one whom I love and who is Mine, I chastise. Will you walk into your destiny, healed and restored, doing the greater works, so that I shall be glorified through Christ in you?  Or shall you disobey and glorify yourself?  Selah – choose this day.
 
There is still hope, but only if you choose to die to self and obey.  That which has been approaching is almost here (great evil).  I love you, but I will not tolerate fear, unbelief and disobedience in you, any more than I did those who went before you.  Obey Me and watch how quickly I bring My promises to you to pass.
 
I will not fail you for I AM not man that I should lie.  Now will you listen, or will you shrug your shoulder, turn away your ear and continue on as you have been?  Only I can fill the void, heal you and bring you into your destiny.  Your efforts will fail you, just as they have so far.
 
There is a cost and you knew it.  Shall you lay your hand to the plow and look back – then you are not worthy of My kingdom.
 

Do not be as Samson who lost his life because of lust.  Do not be as Solomon, who, with all his wisdom fell away and was disobedient because of his lust.

Be as Joshua and trust Me, knowing that by My hand, you shall overcome the giants.  You either BELIEVE Me for the impossible or you only say that you do.  Your obedience in dying to self and following My instructions will prove that you not only believe Me, but that you truly do love Me with all your heart, soul and strength.
 
Choose this day!  Selah.  I love you!
 
For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.  [Is 9:5, 6]

But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.[Josh22:5]
 
Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.   [Ps 35:5, 7]

Great evil is coming, be wise. 

According as His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that you shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But he that lacks these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and has forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:  [2Pet 1:3-10]

A Trial like Never Before 

I know you seek answers.  You will soon have them.  Fear not.  Remember that you war not against flesh and blood.  I comfort My people when they look to Me.  Believe Me for the things I speak to you.  You must trust Me.  Keep looking to My promise, not swaying, as surely as you believed in the past.

What I have promised, I AM well able to perform. 

He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform.   [Rom 4:20, 21]

I will not fail you.  Your obedience shall be rewarded.  This fire must be, this water of separation, most necessary.  Fear not; neither be dismayed.  I have not lied to you.  I AM not man that I should lie.  All is in My hands.

Every thing that may abide the fire, you shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abides not the fire you shall make go through the water.  [Num 31:33]

God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: has He said, and shall not do it? or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?  [Num 23:19]

Each obedient step you take is one more step towards victory, and one step further away from defeat.  Continue to praise and worship.

I know and realize how difficult this is.  Many of My people are going through this difficult, sometimes painful process.  The entire body of Christ shall go through - this trial of your faith is to purify and strengthen My people for that which is coming.  

Evil of immeasurable proportions is almost here, yet so are the long-awaited miracles.  Hold fast to Me, so you will not fall away!  I will not work around unbelief.  Faith pleases Me.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.  [2Thess 2:3]

 And all wept, and bewailed her: but He said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleeps. And they laughed  (unbelief) Him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
And He put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and He commanded to give her meat.  [Lk 8:52-55]

And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.  [Mat 13:58]

And He marveled because of their unbelief.  And He went around about the village teaching.  [Mk 6:6]

It is a battle over you - against My true children; fear not for you will come out and through victorious, as you cleave to My Son, as you trust in Me. Do not look around in and fear.  See the fire in My eyes and know that I AM walking with you, though the flames in this furnace of affliction are intense.  Fear not.  I AM not a cruel Father, yet this is a necessary process - the perfecting of your faith.  Trust Me.  Know Me and rest - knowing that all things work together for good, to those who love Me and are the called, according to My purpose.  Speak My word.  Stand on it and believe.  Fear not.

I understand the challenges and struggles of the flesh. Trust Me.  No matter what report you see or hear, know that your victory is in My hand, as you willingly obey and follow My instructions. Continue on in the dying to self, for after you have completed that which I ask of you, I shall call you forth, just as Lazarus was called forth, and all shall marvel at My resurrection power.

Go thru, go thru, go thru - it is almost time.  Finish the course - I AM with you.  It is only for a little longer.  Though the vision seem to tarry, it shall not tarry.  It shall be right on time and as suddenly as things were in the past.  You must have faith to believe that you can overcome - overcome the enemy and the flesh.  For if the enemy overcomes you; you shall over come him at the last.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace.  In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

For they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and loved not their lives unto death.   [Jn 16:33;Rev 12:11]

Gad, a troop shall overcome him: but he shall overcome at the last. 
[Gen 49:19]

You must come to the place where you truly believe the unbelievable and trust Me for the impossible.  Again I say, this trial is for the perfecting of your faith - My people shall walk by faith and not by sight.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour: 
Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.  [1Pet 5:9]

Against hope, believe in hope.  I have been waiting for you to obey Me in all things, no matter how trivial it may seem to be.

Who against hope believed in hope, that he (Abraham) might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall your descendants be.  [Rom 4:18]

Man always has so many questions.  When one question is answered, more present themselves.  all My people struggle within themselves in one way or another - even the proud. [Gal 5:16, 17]

Are you willing to do that which I ask of you?  Will you take it from head knowledge, which says, 'Not my will, but Your will be done...', to heart service, which does perform that which I ask of you?

How many times have I told you that flesh will fight you?  When the adversary sees you walking in obedience, humbling your flesh, he will come at you.  If Satan came to My Son Jesus in the desert wilderness, as He humbled himself with fasting, shall he ignore you in your moments of humility and weakness?

When Satan spoke My words, twisting them in order to cause My Son to sin, shall he not use My words against you, to cause you to sin, to doubt, to fear?  You must cling to Christ Jesus, My Son and be grounded in My word.  Fear not.

You are believing for a promise as impossible to you, as My promise to Abraham seemed impossible to him.  Yes, he struggled; yes, he had doubts.  Abraham and Sarah had no internet to research miracles and testimonies.  They could not pick up a phone and ask for prayer.  They did not have a book that contained My written word.

They had My spoken word.  They had each other - they looked to Me, yet they still went through struggles.  Ishmael was the result of struggle and doubt, as well as impatience in waiting for Me to fulfill My promise.

Do what I ask of you.  Time is short - all know it.  I desire to perfect your faith and bring this chapter to a close with the fruition (manifestation) of My promise to you.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers (various) temptations; 
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience. 
But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.  [Jam 1:2-4]

My people are positioned globally; they are also strategically positioned.  I have not brought you this far to let you go now, but do as I ask.  Lay down your life, in order to gain it.  Lo!  I AM with you.  Selah

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in your own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 
It shall be health to your navel, and marrow to your bones.  [Prov 3;5-8]

After I wrote the above, I was looking for something and came across a sermon by David Wilkerson. Below, David Wilkerson said: (emphasis is mine - BP)

We are facing in the Church of Jesus Christ a crisis of faith. The hardest part of faith is the last half hour and just before the victory; we give up, turning away from God with a evil heart of unbelief. 

God will lead us into places where we are shut up and nothing short of a miracle will get us out of the situation. It is in these places of hopeless crisis that God will come through to glorify His name. 

We must stand on the promises of God with a heart full of faith declaring that God is faithful. Our faith will be tried, as by fire. Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils  [1Tim 1:1]

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, you are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:  [1Pet 1:5-7]

This is a very sobering sermon - tremble at the word of God; the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. I am so grateful to the Lord because it lines up so well with this word - that alone is GOD.  Praise the Lord.
